Meh, might as well do a quick review on it.

The concept, double assault, is quite interesting and fairly fun to play. Basically, both teams are in a race to destroy the crates, and once they do they hit a trigger which allows them to access their opponents base (which you have to find). Personally, I’d just prefer that it would be to destroy the crates the fastest and then win like you do in regular assault, since the CTF part is really sort of confusing and I’m not too fond of it.

As for the level, its alright. It’s a bit small for an assault level, and looks sort of bland. The lack of eyecandy didn’t really bother me when I was playing this, infact I barely noticed the fact that this level lacks it. But bob said leaving out eyecandy was for the better, and although I dont really get a noticable difference in FPS when playing this in a populated server and playing another assault level such as the 7th lava fall one in a populated server, some people with a slower computer might. Like I mentioned before, I’m not particularly fond of the CTF thing after you hit all the crates, but the CTF bases where placed in crates which was interesting to see. Overall, this level is fairly decent, but it could’ve been greately improved by being expanded a bit, and perhaps (imo) having a different ending for this other than a basic CTF game. Overall, this gets a decent 7.2, since it’s a nifty new concept level which you can play when you’re bored from the usual, but there’s a lot of room for improvement in it. Good job and download reccomendation. 7.2.

Wow, Bob. Nice first “Real” level.

Great program, which fixes a large bug in some game types. This especially helps in bank robbery, because otherwise teams would have something of a disadvatage if they weren’t on servers side. The fact that there’s xp support is a bonus, and that its so simple is great. .. 1 button ;P

Anyhow I’ll just get to the rating part now. The interface is a little plain but it’s so small anyhow that there really isn’t 1 needed.

Forget my stupidity, this works. :P My server rarely have respawning issues, but I definitel recommend this to those that have problems with that.

Although you should never use this program as a client, this is a very useful program that removes almost all lack of weapon regeneration. Some people and I tried to get the evil seekers in Battle2 to stop generating, and we could only suceed in destroying about a third of them.
This has an extremely simple user interface, pretty much does what it’s supposed to, with no frills.

Actually this program I think was first released 2/3 days ago for a Bank Robbery event after the regular event. And it worked perfectly, in that server only about 2/3 pieces of ammo for both red and blue bases were left out. Otherwise it worked great.

It really does not get any more simple than this. And that is a good thing. Respawn by Bobby aka Dizzy, or simply Respawn.exe, fixes the annoying non-respawning ammunition bug that can be caused many ways. The program is little more than an executable written in Visual Basic with one button that toggles the program on and off. If you are running a server, always enable Respawn. There really is no reason not to. Many players simply will not play duels when this program is not running. Just make sure that you disable Respawn before joining someone else’s server. If you do not, Respawn will continuously reset your weapon ammo amount to zero. This is not a huge bug, but it would have been nice if there was some sort of automatic disabling mechanism that disables the program when the person who is running it is not hosting. Even without this feature, Respawn.exe is an invaluable tool that no self-respecting server should be caught without.

+ PROS: Finally fixes that ever-annoying respawning bug.

- CONS: If you forget to disable it when you join someone else’s server, you will regret it.

VERDICT: Overall, I give this useful tool a rating of nine and a definite download recommendation. Simply a tool that everyone must have.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
