Nice job, though I have not checked out the level yet…..But its very nice,
and I’m anxiously (Spelling?) awaiting the full thing.
Again, very nice
This is a pretty cool tileset, well, for using paint. Anyway, the tileset isn’t bad for any program used. I’m sure a lot will be waiting for the full thing.
Great job.
I have played the beta of the full and it is awsome. Another jazz 2 fan has come up with some eccellent levels.
Gets his 7? 7??? Is that what raters say now adays??? True, some levels are so nice, that they are common. Therefore one would think that they are not so special. Forget commonalaty. He deserves a 8.
FelineNice levels, to its still a Demo, it doesn’t get full rating… Sorry. I know what it will look like in the end, and I will change my review when the new levels are posted up. :)
AtomicFelineDWNice big levelpack but much to confusing.. ~Spaz
For being made with evil MS Paint, this tileset really looks good. Actually the colors arent that
tasteful but from another perspective they’re funky.
Another Jazz 2 fan also attached a cool treasure hunt example level with some nice music playing in the background.
Im undecided if to give 6 or 7 points…well, its saturday, sun is shining, the point is yours.
<font size=7> <b>
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! NOT MS PAINT!!!!! </font> </b>
(by the way, I know html tags dont work. I just felt like adding them.)
GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP! GET PSP!
By the way, its kind of annoying to extract the file only to find theres a capture land folder. (i had to move the tileset to my jazz2 folder)
I HAVE RUINED MY EYES, LOOKING AT THE WORK OF MS PAINT. NOW I WEAR GLASSES.
(actually, its not a bad tileset, but I like to be this way because you used such a bad image processer. and I have always weared glasses)
I warn you, If you start using that image processer too often, you will start drawing mr paperclip in it. then he will take over your mind and soon enough you will BE ONE OF THEM!
So get psp. its better.
Anyway, now for some serious rating stuff.
This tileset isn’t bad, and it is great for a first. the only reason you got a 6 here instead of a 7 is because I dont like how when you try to blend one colour into another, theres a bunch of dots. It is especially ugly in the sky.
Also, I find the arrows you put down are a bit too tiny.
Great Tileset. It may not look as good as the Epic sets, but I think you could make some really nice levels outta it. All I’ve seen is the example level, but from it, I don’t think it’ll be too hard to use. And it does have a fair amount of eye candy in it. Good job! :)
I remember when this thing came out AGES ago on j2c (more then a year ago!)
So, its still a demo eh?
Okay, this time Another Jazz 2 fan gets his 7 points. Why? Well, the "Electric Nightmare"
becomes true in this pack which uses the Tubelectric tileset and a cool Jazz 1 music file.
The layout is kinda crazy but very original! I really like it.
"Electric Nightmare" is a single player pack, its not too difficult (actually its too easy :-)
and includes a cool bonus thats also based on an original idea -> you have to collect coins
in different sections of a castle.
My opinion: The old "Electric Nightmare" (its from ’99) is still fun to play, go download it!
Oh, by the way, "Electric Nightmare" doesnt seem to work with TSF. The game quits
with a "Memory allocation error"; maybe you could fix that. No idea :-)
"Another Jazz 2 fan" made a good race pack using all the three famous MEZ sets.
Sometimes the layout is of good quality but then suddenly looses quality in certain places of
the level. For example, invisible H-/V-Poles arent a great idea.
In my opinion the levels are very long (maybe too long) and there are too many sucker tubes and other
stuff you dont need in race levels.
To sum it up: this pack is good and fun to play. All you race & MEZ fans should download it.
P.S.: I really look forward to see the "full version" (the author claims this to be a "demo").
P.P.S.: I am still undecided between 6 and 7 points. Lets say its 6,5 :-)
