Not bad… Playable, no bugs. 7.

Angela, apart from the high grade you gave your friend, you should not review the tileset!
Gameplay
Well, there was nothing good to mension here, except for the bad working trigger bridge. You could have better used triggers on the portals which are now just standing open all the time and can be passed from above. There are a lot of platforms just floating arround, which brings me to another point, there are some float ups just randomly placed. There is also a dead end at the RF powerup and there are some places with little space in which moving is hard and there are some places where you just have a free fall for over 30 tiles. This all gives it an unpleasant flow. This levels gameplay is also very boring, try to add things like secret paths, sucer tubes and warps.
Eyecandy
There are not any tilebugs in here, but the eyecandy isn’t really impressing. You made a lot of white and a little of brownish background and where you made the brown natural background you only made it a few tiles long. Most of the background only connects 2 or 3 platforms and then stops. Try to be more creative with the eyecandy. The castle on the background is not rounded off properly and I am doubing about it being a tilebug or not. You put water onv the bottom of your level to give some extra spfere to it, that was a good idea, try to have some more of those.
Originality
Well, your farther background was quite original though you could have made it better by increasing it’s eyecandy. You missed a lot of oppurtunities in making original things. You, for example, did place a lot of vine tiles, but did not have a single vine event.
Gameplay: 4.5
Eyecandy: 6
Originality: 5
Final Grade: 5.2
Hmm… Eye Candy in my opinion is very good, the most Shafts – cool ;P
Gameplay… According to I, Accommodation of base are brilliant but i don’t like this tileset.
Music in lvl is ok But better will be placed ;D
Summing up your ctf It pleases me… but I know better… and it pleased me more this symmetric.
Agree with Jimy

Great Eyecandy. It’s very nice CTF lvl in Carrottus1. I like that tileset. Simetric level is good idea.
Eyecandy: 6/10
Gameplay: 7/10
Ammo/Cars: 6/10
Total Score: 7

Please do not re-upload this again :P Anyway, the first level by Dodges, it’s a quite nice symmetrical CTF-level using Carrotus 1.
Let’s start with the event placement. Two Full NRG’s (they are well placed) and 3 PU’s (seeks, bouncy and RF). They are well spread, so you must use the whole level, which is always a good thing. There are also two coinwarps, leading to the Seek PU-room. There are plenty of coins, which is good, so the PU is easy accessible, I really like it. The ammo shapes are boring, only squares or lines. The ammo choise is okay, I guess. Make the shapes more original next time, please.
Now the eyecandy. You used layer 3 quite well. You used the ‘brown cave’-tiles on layer 4, used layer 5 and 7 for background. Maybe next time use layer 6 and 7 instead and use layer 5 for more background. Anyway, there’s enough EC in this level, except some parts (like the lower corners) which feel really empty. You removed the minor bugs (GJ) and I really like the plants in the walls, it adds a bit more color. And yes, you changed the textured background (which is good), but I don’t like it green :P.
The gameplay is nice. You can reach the bases in 3 ways, but only leave them in one way, which might be in a problem. The ammo is okay, still, this level feels Spaz-biased. It’s hard to reach certain platforms with Jazz (if you don’t believe me, try it). There is enough ammo for this size level, two Full NRG’s and 3 PU’s are okay as well. Some things, like treestomps and giant carrots aren’t really good for the flow, but the flow is okay in the rest of the level.
Still, the level seems a bit ‘normal’, nothing special. Anything, there’s nothing wrong with that, I think it will play well and it’s really good for a first level. Keep up the good work!
That makes it unzip to a directory called Insomniac Carrots in your JJ2 directory, and that’s something which we generally don’t want.
[Misinformation fix. ~cooba]
Please don’t put the files inside a folder in the zip.
The level feels kind of generic, which is unsuprising for a level made with this tileset. The gameplay is fairly smooth, although the bases are far too easy to defend. No real problems with the eyecandy, but I don’t really think this music fits. In general, this is a fairly decent, but pretty bog standard CTF level.
Too bad your hotel is in Polish, otherwise I could have understand some more of it.
Eyecandy
Your eyecandy is quite sufficient, you did make some mistakes. There were several wrong red blocks in walls of rooms, you could look at your level before you’re posting it and look for them. You can notice them by the dark lines with which they are separated from the other blocks.
Gameplay
When I played this level, and looked arround, I got bored pretty soon. There are some things to do, like tests and wallclimbing, but it is too easy. If this hotel is hosted, the clients joining it, might get bored after several minutes and leave.
Originalty
You tried to be original. You partly succeeded with nice music and some kind of blue snow. Most other things you tried weren’t succesfull. Putting 2 half door’s on a vertical entrance of a room just doesn’t look that nice. You also made a chimney, but forgot to use all of the titles made for the pipes you made the chimney with.
Eyecandy: 6
Gameplay: 4
Originality: 5
Final Grade: 5
No download recommendation: Everyone should just host his own hotel, not other’s.
