The download is not working…
Cursed CTF amounts to a fantastic Capture the Flag level. It uses the Beach tileset, which isn’t constantly used for CTF levels, so it’s somewhat refreshing to see. Weapon placement and eyecandy are both great, but navigation was a small downgrade. As mentioned above, this level has a whole lot of dead ends. While these are OK, they can put you in some fairly bad situations while playing. This isn’t enough to kill this level, but be wary that the flow is not would it could be. Other than that, this is a great level. Download recommendation.
The alleged voices are apparently very good level makers. They should work for you full time.
This is an interesting level using the Jungle tileset which I have played several times in Splash’s Internet server. It features great eyecandy, which keeps the level interesting, and flow that is not outstanding but is very good nonetheless. It was at times hard to keep track of where I was, but I quickly got used to the unique way you have to navigate through this level. Once I did, it was a breeze. It’s an excellent battle level, and those are few and far between these days.
This level never gets old, and is definitely worth a download. It should be a battle classic.
A great ending for a great series. Download recommendation.
I think I reviewed it already, too, but apparently not. Download recommendation anyway. =D
Wow. The previous reviewers pretty much summed it up, but here we go…
The level is a medium-sized level using the Medivo tileset, which provides this level with an interesting atmosphere. Gameplay is smooth, if not simplistic at times, and weapon placement is very good. Download recommendation.
Well, ill summarize my review
Placement of stuff: Enemy placement was generally good. The author managed to find the right difficulty and the placement was generally ok. There were errors, but it was good. Food placement was sparce, took me quite a while to get a sugar rush. Also, the springs were placed well, some good combinations used etc. I found some trigger block errors (when you stomp the crate in crab coral, all blocks except one go away). True, that wasnt a nuisance, but i just felt like mentioning it. Also, the placement made the level fun, i like how the water slowly dropped and rose, when it rose i pretended i was on a ship that was slowly sinking. =P Anyways, fun and creative placement.
Layout/Tile Placement: Not much errors, great placement, the author sure seemed to know what he was doing. Soem tiles didnt go with others, but it was obvoius that the author had a good imagination and stuff.
Music: Fits the level, not my favorite music though. Sometimes got annoying, but nothing really specail.
Eyecandy: Ok, your basic eyecandy here, nothing here that really makes me say OMG COOL, but its better than average. Some levels had way cool eyecandy like the muskeeto mania (i think he spelled musquito on purpose :)) But most levels are average or a bit above average.
Creativity: Some levels are very creative, like the beach one, i liked that mast idea etc. That lava thing in the first level was good as well, lots of creativity.
Good things: TONS of creativity, just the right amount of difficulty as well.
Bad things: A few errors in enemy placement, levels not too long, i got stuck in some places.
Comments: Well, the levels are all great, but the placement of goodies is sparce, and the levels are to short. Some interesting MCE’s used in some levels (in crates) and some cool stuff as well. Enemy placement was good enough for me. So was the eyecandy.
OVERALL: Creativity 9/10, Placement 7/10, Music 8/10, Eyecandy 7/10, other 9/10. Overall about 8.2 or something but ill be nice and give it an 8.5. The levels are very fun and detailed, but lack lenght and some other stuff. A nice pack, download reccomendation. I hope i didnt miss anything out, this review was kinda “rushed” because of lack of patience. =(

Nice Enternal Dragon Also
This gets a Download Recommedation
The lvls were very good but the music was bad. But generally it was good
You’re good at using the inferno tileset. The lvl design was super. But the part of the swinging wines were annoyingly difficult
Good. The story was fine. A 8.2 is for you
Well, I liked mostly the use of tileset. Also the balance of goodies and baddies were good. 8.0 is good for this pack I think :-)
I’ve never liked Dragonball Z so I guess I’ll never like this tileset. But since I can’t just give you an unfair rating without any reasonable reasons, I’ve decided to push the “I hate Dragonball Z!!” thought away and give this tileset a proper review as if I didn’t even know if Dragonball existed.
Anyway, let’s get on to the review:
OoOh, very nifty tileset! It’s got really great eyecandy and the eyecandy rocks! (not more than the pyramids though ;-) The animations are very cool and everything looks like it was made by a professional tileset designer. (Which Splash actually is! ;-P)
The tileset is very original too. There are probably no other tilesets that are based on Dragonball so I guess I’ll give you some extrapoints for originality Splash…
Oh oh, we’re coming to the review’s end! Argh! I haven’t even decided for a rating yet!
Think, think, think! Good eyecandy..hmmm…originiality…hmm….great animations…hmmm…
I think I’ll give Dragonball Z tileset an 7.5.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Kinda nice Level. Pretty good eyecandy. Great music. Short : This lvl rulez… It is the best jungle Level ever I think. A 8.7 By me.
Pretty good level, now 2 the point:
Gameplay: pretty good, I’m sur eyou worked it all out
Placing of ammo: I’m not realy font of that, it’s all the same and not enough, you could add some more ammo and put some variety in it.
Placing of enemies: A bit 2 much, you could bring in more variety 2, those turtles, flying things and (I dont know if thes count 2) the tuff turtles are realy getting boring!!!
Eyecandy: pretty good, the background is great, but I found some little bugs in it!
Well splash, a nice, deserved 7 for you:)
Very cool, I like the use of the Muckamo set and found this level very satisfying to play. I would’ve liked it to be a bit longer, though. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
This is cool, but teach me how to make the picolo flying right.
