Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

This is a fairly good tileset. It had good example levels, showing how to use the tiles very nicely.Now to the review:

Usefulness: 17/20
This tileset is pretty useful. Although it’s name seems to imply you use it in G-Force levels, it could also be useful in a beachish/shipish level.

EyeCandy: 15/20
The eyecandy was pretty good in here. It could have been better. There wasn’t anything too special.

Attractiveness: 15/20
This tileset was fairly attractive. It had nice colors, and the art was fairly well done.

Placing: 10/20
The placing of the tiles in the tileset wasn’t that great. When I first looked at it in JCS, I didn’t really see anything too greate being made with it. But after I saw the example level, it made it look much better.

Mask: 20/20
The mask was very nicely done. There was no place that I saw you could get stuck. It had some neat hidden messages (as some do). And there was overall no problems.

17 + 15 + 15 + 10 + 20 = 77 / 10 = 7.7

Overall: 7.7
This was a fairly nice tileset. It could have been better, with more stuff, a few more textures etc.

Download recommendation, Yes!

Bad masking. It’s also entirely in TSF, both the tileset and the level.
But it’s mostly good. I like the Lori fishing, though it could use a little work. The whole thing reminds me immensely of Syntax’s “Meadow” tileset.
It’s ok.. as it is in TSF, I can view it, but not view it in JCS, so don’t blame me for not rating the things that aren’t in the level.

will be when good levels are finnaly made….? You can choose, anyhow not a ba…goo……medium yes medium pack

An excellent tileset,the background is very cool and would be even cooler if it moved……(that could be pretty weird as well).
It’s a flawless tileset to me, I looked
at the masks and saw no problems. This tileset also has great ground tiles
which is always a critical point in the
difference of a good and bad tileset. Anyhow an excellent tileset, and if this is your first I can’t wait for more..

Ya know, ya can make a good level in 2 hrs… just WORK. Nice lvl. No music? For shame! Next time, think of it while ya build. Or listen while doing so? Anyway, enough babble. An 8.7 here.

Bjarni, Unknown stated that there was no music allready!
Good level! Short, but considering u only did it in 2 hours, i suppose its pretty good. I liked the falling turtles, and overall the level is good. Ill give it an 8.7, since it is short, but u had a time limit, so ill raise it.

worst level ive ever played i made it with my eyes closed.
and put a next level at each end

Ok… I do not like this level. Half of the level seems to be in Layer 3, and because the stuff in Layer 3 and Layer 4 are the same, you have a lot of trouble figuring out where you’re going. And it may be just me, but it’s incredibly laggy even in single player. Speaking of, there’s no Jazz start.
The eyecandy is ok…… I guess. Nothing spectacular, you know.
The gameplay/design.. it could use some work. I had some trouble navigating.
Weapon and other item placement’s ok.. no complaints here.
