This needs LOTS of work. The background used in Layer 8 makes everything appear distorted, use a textured background instead.
The level was also very short and one lap can be completed in less than 10 seconds. The enemies and Coins were not needed.
You also need to vary the tiles used in this level. Do not use just one tile multiple times, try various combinations. Try to also include animations. The waterfalls look bad and unrealistic if they are not animated.
One more thing, do not leave huge empty spaces and do not use just one tile high platforms.
I suggest looking at some JCS tutorials including:
+The help index in JCS itself
+How To JCS – http://www.ninjadodo.net/htjcs/
+JCS Ref – http://www.jazz2online.com/jcsref/
These two websites (especially How To JCS) are very useful.
This is one of those levels which due to it’s horrendously low quality it has a legendary status in the community in terms of bad quality levels. Although it was probably not intended to be made as so, this was the level that started the idea and trend of “joke levels”.
Firstly, let’s look at the level. You get barely any time to look at it as it’s all over in a few seconds. What you do get are a flash of about 100 blue gems, a black background that as the infamous “cloning” effect in SP which occurs when there are no tiles in the background layers, a few random ground tiles, some random lizards, and an exit. Yeah, that’s it. It’s kinda amusing how all the reviews written at the time of release take this level seriously and find it as an offense to the JCS scene. While I’m not saying they’re wrong, nowadays if this was uploaded it would not be taken seriously and would provide some lols, as this level was the one that unintentionally gave the idea of creating a deliberately bad level as a “joke”.
Although I expect most of you have downloaded this already, if you haven’t I suggest so as you’ll get a few lols out of it.
[Sorry to break your theory, but this level IS a joke level in itself. ~cooba]
Just a question here, but what could Barack Obama have really done to help you with your level? I didn’t know he even played JJ2…
Nice level though. Cool eyecandy, nice layout, good eventage, worth a DL at least.
Top marks for the eyecandy and theme. This level feels very metallic, using Desolation in a unique way to create a great atomsphere. I love the “bottomless” pits. The layout was nothing too intuitive but still good. Flow was decent. The ammo was very sparce though which is a big pain considering that this level seems to be suited to large games.
Yay, Played this one, great trick with seeks :d
for gays ;)

Nice first lvl of the good ctf player, well He doesnt know many thing in JCS like others LVL-creators, and Imo He did this one very well, GL. Download now or I’ll stick dildo into your ass!
sorry i am not really in the mood for a proper review for this size of level :P the level is quite small.. good for duels i guess. this is balanced in a special way, unbalancingness fills itself up with easy things for teams. quite fun. but the placement.. i mean.. 2 Carrots and 2 Power ups (seeks) is a bit too chaos. and lack of good def red Base.
A very small level, that works for small games though, of course. Probably 2vs2 rather(which I played once here), since there are two full nrg’s. There’s sort of a major imbalance problem though. While red base is easily campable, blue base is just really unsafe. As well, blue team can reach Powerups faster. Eyecandy is your average one. Try it?
It may be a bit easy, linear and lacking in eyecandy, but this pack will certainly keep you going for a while. Plus, it has an interesting plotline, uses a very wide variety of items and enemies and there are some coin search puzzles in there too.
It doesn’t stand out much, and could use a little more creativity, but so far, good effort.
This episode has the same issues I had with the first. Repetitive eyecandy and masses of enemies everywhere. Two Queens as a Boss which would probably take over 100,000 shots to kill since they are placed so far away from the edge.
This is slightly improved on Ep 1 though not by much.
Levelnames are always the same e.g. Castle of Boss 10?!

Ishca?
Your boss stages are, quite simply… EPIC. Not without flaw, to be sure, but pretty darn epic nonetheless.
