With this nice eyecandy snooz made, turns out to a nice Jungle garden in the game :-P
EYECANDY:
GOOD: The “Jungle” tileset is a good tip if you want nice eyecandy. Snooz made tree’s, poles, and Darn! I forgotten the word for it! A yes! and nice caves. And everything is used perfect for this. And the secret areas near tree’s are also handy.
BAD BUGS: Hmm… Most times, all lvls have a bug. Also profs. At some places when you stand on a part of a tree that comes out the ground, you will see a bug. Layer 3 not used well…

GAMEPLAY:
GOOD: The importantst thing of it: no(didnt found this time :’( ) “getting stuck” places. Enough shortcuts, and the bases are far enough of each other.
BAD: WHHEEEEEH!!!! NOTHING!! ;-)

PLACEMENT:
GOOD: Everything. Enough carrots I think, and the ammo is placed on the right spots. Bravo!
BAD: nein!

I think I told enough for now. I’m gotting… ZZ.. SLEEPY… ZZ.. ZZZZZZZ.

A nice cussion for me.. Huh?? You want a rating? shaking yes Hmm okay… You get a 7.7 from me… And now let me sleep okay? =)

Heeheeheehee, Evilmike’s level, that is untitled, heeheeheehee, i sound retarded, heeheeheehee, and this review is going to suck, heeheeheehee. Ok, it’s a good level yet again by Mike. I maybe a n00b, but i don’t care. N00bing owns all. Ok, to the review:

Quite a few tactics i will share in this level. Heeheeheehee, ok:
- Shooting bouncers and electro blasters and camping the carrot at the same time.
- Getting the copter at the red base and goin through the suckertube that pushes you away from the seeker powerup.
- Getting the copter at the blue base or going from the “Full NRG” a going into the wall where there seems to be some sort of crystal and warping to the powerup.
- Getting the +1 carrot when someone else in camping the full one.
- Shooting fastfires at full speed and powered up and all full speed.
- Shooting weapons through the constantly used suckertubes.
- Shooting the carrot down and confusing people, like snooze, i did this to him in Distopia, and he thought the carrot wasn’t respawning, and then i did it here, trust me, it’s funny.
NOTE : I hope this comes out right.

Eyecandy:
My rating: 8.5
Comments: Nothing too original, there isn’t something you glare at and adore, but there is noticable eyecandy. It could be better, but I’ve never used this tileset, because i don’t like it too much. No offence to Disguise. The tileset is good, but i don’t like it.

Layout:
My Rating: 9.5
Comments: Nice solid layout, that even looks solid, seems a very little bit platformy, but is solid. The trees would be cooler is they weren’t in the way. Waaaaa >(

Pickup Placement:
My Rating: 9.5
Comments: Ok… the placement owns, but isn’t to my standards! (It is a joke… duh, your too dumb) And also, there is one incy wincy bad thing, the fast fires and powerup, should not be so close to the Full NRG. All i wanted to say.

General Gameplay:
My Rating: 8.5
Comments: I find some parts annoying such as some on the springs in the way, and the copters blocking the way and making a dead-end, causing you to have to wait for it to spawn, but you can be lucky.

Just as Blurred said. The game needs work. It doesnt seem you really worked on this. Although, placement was not THAT bad! Enough crates and ammo. But try to get better than this.

First thing is that I said in the readme that I’m unable to test if the trigger system works in Internet mode because I’m unable to play over the internet. So that’s possibly not my fault. Second thing is the start position + text strings are hardly reachable and it is nearly impossible to kill someone from there with your blaster, also for that stuff I put a full energy carrot inside every weapon room. The room with the fast fire gun instead of powerup has no powerup because TNT powerup doesn’t work correctly. The thing with weapon rooms are unfair could be right, though (<— spelled right now?) the room with the Ice Powerup not only has RFs, it also has the RF POWERUP. Also seeker room has only one weapon instead of two.
No TNT in battle, heck you are right that’s my fault.
Design? OK, I see it’s not really great. Sorry.
For the eyecandy I do not agree with you, at least I don’t agree it’s buggy because there are no tilebugs I could find, also on the bottom it’s not dull, on the platforms it’s hardly possible to put eyecandy. I don’t know why layer 3 gets confusing for you, because all the stuff (except a few) is before walls which shouldn’t disturb anybody.

The entire concept is WAY too bugged. First of all, this uses TRIGGER ZONES which work only for those who activate them. SECOND, this could’ve been made with sucker tubes and such stuff to preventing campers to sit at weapon area. Anyway, onto the level.

Start positions and text strings are put on the no fire zones so if someone steps on those, they can shoot there. And of the rooms has fast fire event inside instead of powerup.

Ammo placement is heck unfair. One room has got ICE POWERUP and RFs, while other has got SEEKER PU. Also, there is TNT. NEVER PUT TNT IN BATTLE.

This level has WAY TOO MUCH platforms. Bunch of random platforms with springs of them is most poor design possible in a battle level. Those springs add to flow, though (LOOK AT ME IT’S SPELLED T*H*OUGH NOT TOUGH).

Background layers are ripped from easter levels, not best thing possible. Layer 4 eyecandy is dull and buggy, and layer 3 stuff became annoying and confusing after a while of playing.

Overall, this level is just… bad. Concept is bugged. USE BETATESTERS NEXT TIME. No download reccomendation.

I had nothing to do so I will review this although I’m not so good in it.
well another CTF level by Snooze,I liked the gameplay in this level is very nice, the way from the base to other base is very smart.
backround match to the level and the jungle things.
I’ve seen better levels but this is totally fine.
I will give this 7.2.

;/ This is an overplayed level, though i also play in it a lot. Though this level is quite proffesionally made, and nicely solid. There are a few tactics that can be learned easily here, but there aren’t too many: – Shooting bouncers down from the full NRG – Shooting RFs and/or peppermints to get people easily – Shooting through the bridge with seekers or bouncers – Shooting ammo through the suckertubes – Camping like an idiot – Shooting bouncers through walls Oh well, im sure i missed some, onto the review : Eyecandy : My rating : 7.0 Comments : The eyecandy isn’t something you notice when you look, at the level. It isn’t too original, but with what there is, it looks average. I would expect something waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better on a level played this much or rated that high. Placement : My Rating : 10.0 Comments : I’m not really good at rating ammo placement but i can say it is really good, the way the ammo is all seperate and not placed in a bad way. Layout : My Rating : 9.0 Comments : Again, i’m not a good reviewer, but i have to say the layout is nice and solid, and has tactics to it like CAMPING. Well, all the platforms or blocks in different ways or placement is good. Gameplay : My Rating : 8.5 Comments : The level is camping biased, and the suckertubes are irriatating in how you wait outside one and see someone come and then they get annihilated. Well, the rest is good though, because of the tactics though usually really popular levels have more, but i like it like this. OVERALL : Average Rating : 8.7 Learn From : Yes Host often : Yes but as overhosted as it is.

Meh. I didn’t like this really much. I’ll basically summarize the reasons why.

I disliked the layout. A lot of it was bumpy at times and could’ve used more flow. Eyecandy was creative, but also really confusing. I dislike things meant and used for ground in layer 4 as well as used for backround eyecandy, since it tends to look confusing to tell whats solid and whats not. I kept running into and getting caught in the wall things around the sucker at 28, 46. Some areas could’ve been spaced out more. Weapon and stuff placement was decent (Edit to Bloodrabbit: Not very observant about there being seekers, are we? And some pepper to). Music choice was good, and eyecandy (aside the confusing things) was also alright. In overall, I agree more with Cooba’s review. Not bad, not your best work. Being nice and giving this a 7.5 (7.2 would’ve been my original rating).

Eyecandy: The eyecandy in this level is very good. Make more levels with eyecandy this good. It is so awesome. Keep it up.

Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty good. It is a very smooth gameplay. But it needs more flow to it.

Weapon Placement: The weapon placement is very good. There are three weapons in the whole game: Fastfires, bouncers and also toasters. There are also powerups for each weapon.

Conclusion: Wow! This level is really good. Keep up the good work Snooz.

Overall: I give this an 8.

Download Recommendation: Yes!

Comments : The eyecandy is confusing, but original, there were sprite layer tiles (or tiles with masks) on other layers, which looked nice.

Layout :

Comments : Good layout, not very tactical, but good. The vines are annoying but oh well.

Pickup Placement :
My Rating : 8.5
Comments : The placement is good, i’m not really good at rating pickup placement but yeah, uhhhhh, hmmmm, ehhhhhhhhhhh, errrrrrrrrrrrr, wellllllllllll, the carrots were placed good too.

General Gameplay :

Comments : The gameplay is good, though i know how to get stuck easily, but it takes a while to realise u can get stuck at the start.

I liked ALADIN LVL more to be honest.

Eyecandy is good for given tileset, aside from pink warp horizon. Most things looked good, like the wire grid at the bottom of level. The translucent spark barriers were neat too. However, some things were pretty annoying, like LAYER 2 AT X SPEED 2.25 or bunch of blinking lamps at the most left.

Gameplay is a little bit evil. Some parts need better flowing, like the ledge above Bouncer powerup. Still, most areas are easy to navigate, and there aren’t much deadends. Position 30, 47 can be used as a turret and that’s a good thing definately. Or something.

Clustered around ammo comes in all its varieties except for Frostbiter and TNT (for obvious reasons). There are even Fastfires – combined with Blaster PU they can be pretty much destructive ;( Toaster and Bouncer have their powerups, too. And for everyone’s convinience this has no seeker PU =))))

Anyway, this is a good battle level, but it hasn’t got anything outstanding maybe except layer 8. Download recommended anyway, because there’s lack of good battle levels those days.

Ok, let’s see. This level didn’t turn out as bad as I thought.

Eyecandy: Pretty good, considering the chosen set. A bit confusing though because nearly everything is the same color and blends in together making it a bid hard to see. This took from the fun a bit, even though it isn’t your fault.

Gameplay/Layout/Stuff: Level was pretty long, even when I rushed through parts of it. Difficulty is alright, I lost around one life when playing this, but I recentely played Donkey Kong where your character moves a lot slower so I had to get re-used to the speed of jj2.

Placement of stuff: I would’ve liked a bit more pickups and a bit more creativity with them. Enemies were alright but got annoying at times (The bats ,especially). Ammo is also fairly sparce. Concluding the placement: needs more.

Overall (not teh average): It’s a decent level. A few things bring it down a bit (not counting the tileset choice). Not bad, considering what you chose to build the level with.

Eyecandy: 7.2
Gameplay/Layout/Stuff: 7.5
Placement of Stuff: 6.5
Overall(not an average): 7.1
Final rating: 7.075 = 7. I’ll be nice and upgrade this to a 7.2 because you will probably be the only person to use this set. And I like the orange transparent stuff. It was a good level overall, but a lot of things got annoying in it and I didn’t have as much fun as I should’ve. Then again I played like 3 hours straight of DK so maybe I’m just tired. Either way, believe it or not, this gets a download reccomendation =D.

Edit: Oh yeah. Two more things. One text string says: Tileset made by (insert blank space), and the level doesn’t cycle to itself, or anything that exists in my jj2 folder. Neither bugs matter enough for me to deduct the rating any, but I pointed them out anyways.

Good job! you’re very good at building levels! eyecandies ammos, and baddies are very well. one thing is there are no sign posts and not much carrots! you have to put more carrots and sign post according to the difficulty of the level. Otherwise you’ll die easily and start from the beginning. This can make people get annoyed. but generally it is cool! waiting for your new levels :)

very good! the level design is wonderfull, eyecandy rox, placements between goodies and baddies are also good, there are no tile bugs! one of the best tileset usages! i liked it! but i think you’d make a bigger episode with an interesting storyline, with interesting puzzles and ideas so it would be so nice! A 8.2 from me!

Story: A man finds orbs, suddenly turns evil, wants to destroy the world, but then he falls into a volcano together with his brother because URJazzCC (oh yeah) saved the world. Great story!

First level [UR Legend]
Very bad eyecandy, a background that keeps changing colors, lots of texts that are very close to each other so before you read one another already shows up and no clue what you have to do. Almost no enemies at, just hurt events that you fall on without warning. I really hope the rest of the levels are better

_Second level [UR: The legend continues]__
Again really bad eyecandy and again I have no clue what to do. The level’s “gameplay” basically consists of running around (it’s way too big) and hoping you find something that helps you to complete the level. The music doesn’t fit.

Third level [UR Worlds]
Well, it’s basically the same as the second level, but now I finally know what to do: “find one orb”. Sure.
This level has lots of bugs, for example after a sucker tube there’s a float up that doesn’t get you high enough to reach the platform you were meant to reach via the tube. Well, you get it.

Fourth level [Credits]
Useless level, because at the start of each level there’s a “level by URJazz and idea by Craccoboy” text sign, but whatever. Well, the music again doesn’t fit.
After the credits you enter a room with lots of gem rings and a grave. You fall through the grave, see Joe’s brother there saying “IM POWERFUL” or something and then the levelpakc starts again. Yay…

All levels have bad eyecandy, non-fitting music, puzzles that are impossible to do because I have no idea what the goal is, and lots of bugs. I really wonder if the other reviewers are biased in one way or another, because this levelpack is crap. No download recommendation, 2.5
