Nice drawing on most of the tiles.
Cool background(layer 8).
Some good eyecandy stuff.
I don’t like the vampire who’s playing on that big instrument(forgot the name of it). You probably drew him when you almost finished, cuz he doesn’t look so good as most of the other tiles.
So let’s just say: most of the tileset is good, though I don’t like it at all.
A 7.5.
No download recommandation.
Okay, first review in my new rating revolution. So, here it is:
Hmm… Pretty nicely beated, faster version Diamondus with nice, 30 second introduction… Nothing more. We have all samples except those some beats original, arrangement too.
This music is primary dedicated for levels, thanx to the speed it’s pretty good for them. It could be very useful in fast Diamondus battle levels. But I am afraid of that nowhere else.
(+) Funky Techno Diamnondus sounding fitting at the music
(+) Good for (battle) levels
(-) Nothing except beats wasn’t changed and it’s not so better than original.
In this case, I am not competent to give download recommendation, if searching some music for your Diamondus battle level. If you like amateur soft-techno, then you could try this. In other cases, hands out.
I like this a lot, though it sounds kind of ‘empty’.
I really like this music. It’s for JJ2, so Fquisty cant delete it (Har).
I’m making a Diamondus Night level and im thinking about i use it. I think i do. This is a really well created music, nice techno. It’s a speedyer version of Diamondus, download this.
Very fun, I host it often. ;P
Hmmmm……Even though the tileset is hard to use, mike made the best of it. The thing that prevents me from giving it a 9 is that there are a few dead ends and that take 0.01 away from the mark and that it is hard to move around in. I cant tell which way i need to go and stuff like that so it takes 4.99 away from the mark. Download reccomendation?Sure…….That is all
I have seen many people host this many times so i decided to rate this and get it over with.
The eyecandy of the level is excellent, dont know how it could be better 5/5
The ammo placement is also excellent, can be better, but Mike tried his best 4.9/5
Th gameplay is ok, good use of one ways and springs, bases are placed ok as well 4.9/5
The tileset use is far greater than excellent 5+/5
Overally, this level gets a 10/10 but because of a bias i have it gets a 9 ;P
OMG WOW SUCH GOOD TILESET USE
As I played this level, i was amazed, how beautiful the level looked! I just stared at it for such a long time because it rocked! Excellent tileset use EXCELLENT U HEAR ME I DUN THINK I SAW BETTER!!!! Placement a bit sparce, more coins than weapons, but that only lowers it by 0.3 because the only reward is the one that u need 100 coins for (I havent found out how to reach the trig crate yet ;P
The reason it isnt 9.7 is that i have a bias that single levels cannot get more than a 9. 9 and over is only for tilesets and good levelpacks.(Music limit is 9 as well for me) so 8.7 is what it gets and a big fat d/l recc
Link is working……I dont really like this tileset, except the purple roads ;P
2.2 for the purple roads ,0.3 for everything else……
No download reccomedation, sorry
My first tileset was so bad, i didnt bother to upload it.
The ground is just some rainbow colored blocks and it only has a few of the hotel stuff, as well as uneeded stuff. Do not make hotel tilesets plz, they RARELY get a high rating and arent used much. The only hotels i can reccomend you to download are the ones made by hotel heroes, and another made by super saiyan i think, but not this one, sorry…
Hmmm……I like this
It has catchy tunes and a good beat, i could easily tell its a diamondus remix. Some parts that the author created i liked, i think the parts were near the beginning. As well, i think it will go good with any diamondus like levels and maybe some forest levels, this is a good music upload and i reccomend it to all music fans
I saw this tileset all alone, at the bottom of this list, unrated. And since I like my stuff to be rated as well. I’ll do so for you :).
Okay, the tileset exists out of nice colourfull blocks. And it looks like it can be used in a million of purposes. However, I think it could have been a little bit bigger. And maybe a bit more colourfull.
It is clear that most art in this tileset was pixel art, which means that it presumably was made in paint. Because of that, I think you did a fine job! I was undecided between a 6.7 and a 7. So I think I’ll just give you a hand and pick the 7. :).
-New
Sometimes, it happends that a nice jazz1song remake is made. This is clearly one of them. It still like Daimondus, it has some voices cutted out from other songs plopped in, and its actually really cool.
A more “speeded” version of daimondus.
Download this.
I wouldn’t say that its bad, because I like it (though there were rips from other default music).
ehhhmz Ya Nice tileset
i like it :D
nice animation
a 7.7 from me !
To Be Ore Not To BE That is the question
:P
A 9.2 for various reasons
+2.0 that it really catches my attention and i listen to it daily
+4.5 for the awesome beat, which ruxors and just is very good
+2.0 that it has a good melody, a logic and catchy beat an so
+0.5 that it goes good with a lot of tilesets
+0.2 That the name sounds good ;P
D/l Recc, yeah, this is one of the best musics i heard in a looooooooonnnnnng time
OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BESTEST THING I EVER READ. DOWNLOAD RECOMENDED. I GIVE IT A WHOLE ZERO OUT OF TEN. Actually, this should’ve been posted on the JCF, not as a level/tileset.
Despite that there is a few bugs in the level, its an ok race. I like the bird idea, its cool, and good tileset use (even if it is your own tileset) and there are dead ends, which isnt so good for race, if used in a bad way. Still gets a d/l reccoemdation form me
I actually thought this was a battle level as well, if a slightly original one. I didn’t really understand the layout of the level, so I’ll do my bestest to review it.
It makes good use of Disguise’s Spacey Universe tileset, and I haven’t seen any glitches or bad corners. However, I didn’t see much attention to detail – there was just a few craters on the blue zone, and some overuse of the credits. Also, some of the tiles could have been used, but weren’t. Other than this, I found it a little boring – for example the Level 8 has no auto movement, and there’s no other background layers that I’ve found. I know there’s not many background tiles in the tileset, but if that happens take some tessalating ones and make them transparent. Also, in the ‘enclosed’ areas on futuristic levels, make the background semitransparent to make a part-see through wall so the parralaxing background shows through. Looks pretty :)
The idea was good and original, but also could’ve been better. I didn’t start off with a powerup very often either, and there wasn’t much ammo in the green room, so if you don’t like the Blaster you won’t do so well when you run out of ammo. I also found the room changint thing quite weird – you could find your way into all the rooms again apart from the rocky planet one. In the blue zone, there were a few springs that got in the way and a blaster powerup that I couldn’t work out how to reach because of an oddly-placed warp. Also, I’m not so keen on enclosed areas with lots of blocks in them, like the big green room in this level. It’s hard to attack someone, with all those blocks and stuff in the way. Finally, I couldn’t find any layer 3 usage or secrets to find. It got a bit boring, eventually.
This level has lots of potential. It was fun at first, but I eventually got bored of it and started writing this. You could’ve added some more stuff in it, like tubes or belts or secret areas, and spiffed up the other layers a bit. As it is now you’ll just wander around aimlessly looking for anyone to shoot at, in a big green room. It’s not the best, but if you spruce it up a bit you may have a good, fun level to play :)
“too much springs”
That’s the idea. It’s different. That doesn’t necessarily mean bad, you know.
Anyway, I liked this level. It’s a strange concept but I think it’s fun.
The level is also well designed and the Amazon tileset still looks great.
One thing I didn’t like was the horizontal springs though… sometimes you find yourself bouncing in directions you don’t want at all…[This review has been edited by Ninja Dodo]
