I can see it’s your first single player level(no offense). The level is quiet boring, especially the part when you turn into a frog. :P

But it’s worth downloading IF you want to have jj1’s Tubelectric.

You should explain what Scrooger is, luckyly I know but usally I watch Discovery channel then Disney when I’m young. =P
The money doesn’t tile but looks good still, nice eye-candy.
Your skills are improving because you did the ICE DESTRUCT blocks on the ground with the ground in it’s animation- that’s skill for someone you like. :D

I say it to you BS! Eyecandy is bad, Jazz- Loriunfriendly… Etc. Only the Layers 6 & 7 are a little bit good…(Not that speed 0) But nothing to download it.

Ok, let’s say this straight: it’s a bad level.

The backgrounds are nice. But you didn’t make good use of the tileset. I meen, you didn’t put the “boarders” of the grounds. Mostly only the top and the bottom, but not the sides. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say here…. The level is a bit “empty” on some parts.

This is worth a 4.5.
No download recomandation.

And, as Flash said above, NEVER say your level is cool.

Hah. Never say your level is cool, because it rarely comes out ;).

“You never get a second chance to make a first impression” comes out here. When I started I came in a tube and then I got around some poles. Never do that in a battle level, it doesnt fit in multiplayer and you can easily get roasted without striking back ebcause you can’t shoot while you’re spinning around the poles :P. The level is baicly a puzzle, not a battle level. You’ll have to destroy the trigger crate. Then something will happen. Well, the level is WAY too empty. Theres much free space. The platforms are all very little and there are Freezes. Never put the freeze events in a battle level too, you can also get roasted without shooting back when you’re frozen so it’s unfair. The ammo is good anyway. Maybe a bit too much but I don’t think so. Layer 6 and 7 are also well filled up altough they have speed 0 so they’re on the same place the whole time. That’s a bit boring and too bad you’ve missed that 0.5 points ;). The tileset is also well used and that’s a plus. It’s the reason why this boring level still gets a 5.0 from me.

Pretty Good tileset. The first tileset was kinda bland, but the snow capped one was very nice… I might just have to use this in a level pack I’m making…. mwhahaha…

Whoo. Ducktales rulez, but I don’t recognize this as a duck set :P. There are enough tiles to make platforms with and the moneybags are also nice. The duck is also funny, I don’t recognize it as Scrooge tough :P. All the kinds of destoy block are there, even frozen block. Also poles are included. The masking is a bit weird tough, you can easily get stuck if you use this set. It also missses hooks, spikes, vines, Layer 6+7 stuff and a good background.

Conclusion: With a bit more work (More tiles etc.) this can be a nice set. I didnt increase the rating because it’s a first set but it’s good for a first one. I was thinking about a 5.7 but I give a 6.0. I don’t know why.[This review has been edited by Fl@$h aka BlewMeUp]

It’s better now, but there are still bugs. Like the next level setting CelLctf17 doesn’t work. And there are still those glitches in “In the glue Factory” (the ACCESS GRANTED typo and the sucker tube glitch at 52,16) and “The CelLlevator” (the invisble tile in the blaster powerup room) and some other bugs.

I’m gonna give this an 8.5 since the levels are good, but could be better: the eyecandy was well made, the gameplay is alright, and ammo placement is decent, though some levels have bugs in them. So in all, this CTF pack is worth a download, especially if you hate downloading levels one by one.

The Edit: I recall looking at this pack recently and not liking a lot of these levels. The gameplay just doesn’t seem as good as when I first played these levels. Of course, standards were different then. But then again, several levels made way back when had some good gameplay, and people still play them today. Anyway, I dislike the layout and question the balance in most of these levels, which is why my rating is now an 8 instead. That’s still something.[This review has been edited by BlurredD]
