Why don’t you make something new? We’re tired of conversions.

Almost everything seems to be as it should. I just don’t like the colour of textured background and the background factory/building [whatever it is] doesn’t fit there for me.

[EDIT]

That’s much better.

The only thing taken from Tradotional Japan is this plant. And it’s frozen now. I dont know what is so similar to TJ, except the drawing style. I don’t see any resemblance. As sucker tubes You can use some ground tiles – You would use layer 3 anyway… There are most of those usable tiles – for hurt event, text, vines/hooks, arrows, v-pole and h-pole, collaps scenery, destruct scenery, empty masked tiles, black tiles for transparency… So i don’t know what’s this about.

———————————————————

@Obi! All of the palette events work properly! Palette for snow is done well, but we are not able to use it in multiplayer as clients. And what’s with the reliance on layer 5? That is why the gamemakers made this layeer! To put something on it.

And well. I realize that vines’ mask is bugged, and to be honest – i didn’t know how can i solve this problem. :(

Everything was fine for me, no crashes. It’s a shame that JJ2 can’t use all of its functions.

I really like CTF levels made by Nappy . All of them are full or tricks, have great eyecandy and gameplay!

The PUs’ placement is IMO balanced. 4 PUs [2x Bouncy]. I always liked the idea 2× +1C and 1x full energy. We already played there 2v2 so i know that was fine. The flow is very nice, many sucker tubes, springs, etc. what make it better.

You used this tileset very well. Eyecandy here is amazing. I hope this cherry heart is for me xD. I like those thermometers near bases and the light going out a tube! You placed some transulcent tiles, used layers very well. GJ!

DR? Sure! Go, play it

Well.. another ordinary battle. My rabbit’s legs stick out from under the pillars. On layer 5 there are mostly straight ends of the wall. It goes evenly with main platforms. I don’t like the rain. It rains so slowly. In the chains, You missed two complementary tiles. There is so many ammo in the level. Also, there aren’t any MP starts.

We already played here, at tonight’s event.. It’s very good level for 3v3s+. I like it very much and I hope it will be hosted many times, especially at the JDC’s events :D

Eyecandy is fine, I haven’t seen any tilebugs. Two fortresses and some grounds between them is a good idea for a CTF level. There were some empty places in the level, but not so many ;) You could put there some food/goodies for better eyecandy, like some people told You!!

Gameplay & flow are very, very nice. Many springs, one ways what helps with moving around, some sucker-tubes, vines, etc. was well measured before they was placed.

Ammo/Carrots placement is not bad. Full Energy in the middle of the level and +1 carrots under bases. 4 PUs are good for big level like this one.

Very well done Nappy!! Keep JCSing! :D

You all: Download and enjoy Napoleon’s level!

And where can You see rainbow in Rainbow Hills?

I couldnt make anything behind the bases because background uses 4 layers. Warps near bases aren;t useless… they take you to the C.

Eyecandy can’t be so good -> there aren’t so many decorative tiles.

And You should admire, how fast i made this level :D

I understand that Slayo is Your best jj2 friend, but if You are reviewing a level, you should depend only on your own mind.

——————————
EDIT:

“So how the hell do you think that my review was based on Slayer’s opinion?”

Just because yesterday he wanted me back in iR, and today some things happened…

You wrote that that warps are completly useless.. they aren’t. It wasn’t only about breaking gameplay.

I didn’t convince them to do that. I will tell You more – You did that.

About background – It’s tileset’s fault that it uses 4 layers for bg, not mine.

And levelmaker is better, when he can make his level faster.

EDIT2:
Ok, So levelmaker is worse, when he can make his level faster.
