this is a real pack survivor for frogs for fun.
This is a new idea to make new tips of levels.

I like the theme, especially with the lovely looking water . However, I would’ve like to have seen this aspect expanded on further, and the whole tileset in general could’ve had a lot more content. Still, nice. B
Im agree with cooba’s message to XSNooze…7 is maximum rating for this! xD
This tileset is too underrated.., it is a good tileset, fine to use.
Nothing original. I don’t like the drawing style. Everything here looks the same. And the water… I hate the color of water.
I like the set. it does what its suposed to do, and the water effect is nice, altough perhaps the color is bit dirty. :)
I had the opportunity to play in these levels, they are very funny:)
Levels are bland and boring, but the gameplay is quite fun. What’s keeping me interested is the originality, and for that well done.
Too lazy to proper review, but I’ll kind of agree with Minmay here…it’s very repetitive. Most of the levels feel the same too much and some last too short. It is a nice and somewhat original concept though, I might do my own one, which should hopefully be better than this. The frog filter could be better imo.
Just when you had thought that the downloads page would lay dormant again and a long time would pass without quality levels, Sir Ementaler comes and pleasantly surprises us.
The levels are all in the style that BlurredD so long ago used for his famous survivor levels, but with an unexpected twist. The main characters have all given up their usual rabbit appearance in favour of a smaller creature, the frog.
While many frog-based games have been created for Jazz Jackrabbit in the past, from an old pack titled “The Froggy Quest” to the popular Frog Lane in many hotel levels, this is something different.
As a result, after hosting this pack for about an hour in a server with at least 10 players the whole time, I have finally decided to write a review. This review portrays the pack as a whole, and rates it appropiately instead of each level.
You are probably getting tired of my talk so I shall get started.
Eyecandy
The eyecandy in these levels isn’t really outstanding in comparison to other level-creating gems, however for all it’s worth, it nicely fits the atmosphere the creator went for. I have not noticed any tilebugs nor eyecandy errors. On the other hand. some levels were kind of bland and more scenery could have been used.
Eyecandy: 2.5 out of 3 points.
Gameplay
Now for the more important part, the gameplay. I think that it’s normal for me to give this at least one point for the uniqueness this pack offers since it’s the first one of its kind. The system works quite well in generalm, but there are also occasional errors which can affect the gameplay quite badly. For example, I have noticed that sometimes, when the level loads, some people can get stuck in the tube at the beginning or, even worse, get warped back to the beginning of the tube in an infinite loop, which causes them to rejoin. This error can be quite annoying, and /c or /r is necessary in order for everything to be normal.
Anyway, besides that error, I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary and the arenas are quite well done in terms of jump/run distances.
Gameplay: 2.5 out of 3
Music
The music fit the atmosphere most of the time, and I haven’t noticed any tracks which can get on the player’s nerves. One of the levels, however, the Prismatic Palace one, has music which doesn’t really suit it (weird_personalities.mod) and it seems as if it has just been put so that the level doesn’t remain silent. Overall, the music selection is well done.
Music: 2.5 out of 3
> Nice and creative concept BONUS +0.5
> Clever use of triggers +0.5
Final Rating: 8.5
Download Recommendation: Yes, it’s an excellent alternative to battle/CTF levels and a breath of fresh air.
Why do you vote this pack with 8 or less? The design and effects are impressive, the gameplay is interactive and hard, but the most important thing is that these levels are VERY FUN!
This is an example of a great concept with poor implementation. Level design is bland and repetitive, and there’s not a whole lot of skill or tactics involved in the gameplay.
SonicRO, Survivor is a Ground Force pack made by BlurredD.
This is a Ground Force pack, with frogs.
While the concept does get stale quite quickly after a few levels, this pack is a clear example of how thinking outside the box can get you very far. Nice one! B+
ah is not a survivor pack xD
a bit of levels are for Survivor
It’s nice to see that the frog is usable in MP after all. i really enjoyed this and it might be one of the most creative things existed in history.
