Oh there’s ammo…you just have to look for it in secrets… >=P
I may not be much of a CTF expert, but I know what I hate. And I don’t hate this. =P. It seems a lot of fun to play online. But since I’m not a CTF expert, I’ll leave the analysis to the CTF experts and give you a rating.
A nice desert style tileset, with some animations and some shock RIPPED DESTRUCT BLOCKS AND POLES!!! I like it, although it’s not exactly my style. But, it is good, so here’s a nice, big, fat eight for you.
Oh c’mon. This was easy. The level splits in two early on. Go right, and you must battle two Bubbas. Go left and there’s a LITTLE bit more actual level area, and at the end you must fight only one Bubba. I didn’t die at all, and found little to no challenge to this. D/L only if you want the Disguise tileset which I admit I’ve never seen before. =P
SCE weapons don’t work in SP. And even in MP this wouldn’t be very useful. The tileset is the best thing in this .zip. =P
I like this. It has all the necessary tiles, and is very versatile. It has a 3D type look to it and some funny animations. A generous 8 for you.
This was BAD. No music, no challenge, I just…jumped and ran for a few minutes. The eyecandy was awful, and only layers 4 and 8 were used in most levels. Don’t waste precious webspace. Please spend TIME on your levels, lest I use the Steel Pipe of Dishonor.
This is a gametype obviously inspired by Space Invaders and its clones. Violet satisfatorily explained how this poor thing works, so I’m going to just rate it. Good concept, but impossible with the Jazz2 system.
The fourth in the Hocus-Pocus series of tilesets (not including a version Spotty (presumably) made for Foo Races which was incredibly dithered), this is a castle kind of tileset, with blocks, keys, gems, the evil wizard, Fooruman, and a pillar type BG. It’s nice looking, and is versatile for castles. I wish it had more though. BTW where can I D/L the DOS game Hocus-Pocus? Spoy, this is WAY better than the Blode one. =P D/L reccomendation.
A 3D tileset, this set is one of the more plain tilesets you’ll come across. It’s got some coloured 3D blocks, letters in several styles, a couple textured BG and some poles. It’s got the bare basics, but leaves a lot to be desired. It’s good for a simple level, but could use a LOT more.
This is an…odd tileset based on the flash movie Blode, featuring disembobied heads, tanks with the Pringle head on it, a very clean musk-ox and some generally messed up stuff. However, some of the mask is messed up, and there isn’t too much eyecandy. A very small D/L reccomendation.
This is a very average episode. Each level in depth:
Level 1: This is a cut-scene type level.
Level 2: Cut Scene again]
Level 3: This is a very basic level with nothing new, original or interesting. The aliens are easy to avoid.
Level 4: A cut-scene
Level 5: A small space station level with lots of Sucker enemies. Too short to be interesting.
Level 6: Yawn A cut-scene.
Then the credits. What makes me mad is out of so many levels, only TWO are actually levels! There is medicore eyecandy,a poor story (the wife dies at the end without telling us WHAT HAPPENED) and Jazz/Spaz doesn’t even have a name! Even his wife calls him “rabbit”. However, I have seen worse, and the space level does have a degree of challenge as Spaz if you rush, but no D/L reccomondation.
Not too bad. The level is sort of a nice effort. The BG effect is honestly cool, and it’s got a couple nice bits, but it’s an average level.
