ANIMATIONS
All the lava animations are obviously lava. It’s not just a steady flow of lava, but more something like pouring honey or a milk shake. It is thick and has viscosity. (+1)
TEXTURES
The panels on the floors look like something from a lab on another planet. I like that. The Ground looks like a desolate area, and the trees look very dead. It looks like the lava overflowed more than once!(+2)
IDEA AND ORIGINALITY
I haven’t quite ever seen anything quite like this before. I mean, since when has there been a tileset with lava flowing all over the place with the rest of the area being an uninhabited wasteland except for these weird lab-like places here and there? This is obviously very original. (+4)
TILEBUG
There are no tilebugs as far as far as I’m concerned.(+0.5)
EYECANDY
For eyecandy, this tileset is up there with Windstorm fortress. There’s lava, plenty of background scenery to choose from, such as volcanos and a lava red sky, and if you choose, some lava falling from the air! This is total apocalypse! (+3)
OVERALL
Overall, I recommend this highly for anyone with an end-of the-world destruction idea. It has plenty of eycandy to choose form, only one small tilebug, extremely original, and a very realistic lava animation. In total, this is worth 9 points!
Dont hesitate to press the pretty button.
DOWNLOAD NOW!!!!
Wrong upload. Sorry!
Very nice!
It should be included in plus, but with a command, such as /Cameramode on.
It is very original, and very fun if your out and have nothing better to do but explore the level. By the way, well I can, may I ask you how to code text in the middle of the screen? xD
You need Plus for the trigger command (to make you the awesome one, and others not)
Even if this did include the “White bat” (which it does not), I could just create this “White bat” on JazzSD. Also, by downloading this (silly me, I was in a rush, forgot to backup my JCS.ini) I messed up My JCS.ini. I will not rate. There isn’t much to do so.
Amstel,
First of all, it looks nothing like the original Battle1 level. Second, so what if it’s not original, I’m working on [a better] one of these
Because of the false positive, I cannot open the zip folder. My Antivirus won’t let me. I sure wish I could use it. It sounds like a great program.
This is extremely useless. You can’t make an extensive level out of it and get a 4. In fact, you can’t even do that with a small level. I don’t mean to be bias, but this probably took a week at the very most.
You could use this for making Razz! Why haven’t I thought of that before! Even though this is ‘just a sprite editor’ It’s amazing all the same! My only problem with it is you can’t copy an animation to another set, much less put it two frames ahead in the same animation.
Tutto quello che chiedo è …. PER FAVORE NON DOWNLOAD. Ho dovuto passare attraverso questo.
(Io ho usato il traduttore, mi spiace per il mio cattivo italiano)
I cant find anything wrong….
To the negative side: (-3) 1) Both tilesets are almost exactly the same. (-3) 2) As Toni said, You cant use these for Much of anything at all. (-2) 3) I see no particular theme
To the positive side: (+1) 1) If what you say is true, at least it’s as original-ish (+1) 2) That Monster thing is enough to be a plus, no kidding
So, I must say, i cannot recommend this. I might think it over with an example level.
To be fair, I have to give you a 2.7, because, although this pack is suspiciously identical on both sides, and has almost no eye candy, I must say, the castles are a pretty nice touch with the CTF bases in front of them, not to mention the tileset is a fairly good pick, however, it’s downsides damage this level badly.
