Who is "MegaMan" again? Well whatever, this is a quite good, very colorful and good-looking tileset. And the example level shows what a skilled author could create using the set.
Well done, Newspaz. I dont have much to add to Derbys detailed review. Every tileset collector should download "MegaMan".
A very nice tileset and a very good example level.
I’m not going to give this a higher rating because the graphics were copied from a game but I think the tileset is good anyway.
This tileset takes about one hundred tiles, altogether. A pretty small tileset, yes, but the author was able to use it very well, so the example level did have average eyecandy…
However, the less tiles there are, the more animating tiles you’d have; But why would anyone want to do that? With no room for destructable scenery or similar ideas, consider this a great rip, though… The example level tells you about the different sceneries you can use…
Content: 1.8/2.5
Ease-of-use: 2.0/2.0
Eyecandy: 0.6/1.5
Example Level: 0.5/1.0
Tile/tile compatibility: 1.0/1.0
Event intergration: 0.2/1.0
Overall compatibility: 1.0/1.0
Total: 7.0/10.0
How could this tileset be improved?
You might not make too many animated tiles with this tileset, which means you can add more tiles to this tileset. Destructable scenery that would look different from a wall would be handy… Also, tiles that would fit well to make animated tiles or trigger events would give this level more life. Good job, Newspaz. I believe people can look at this tileset and see what they could, and should make out of a tileset…

Oops, I meant to say "The five is for the originality." But I got the wrong number in. I tried editing it, but the changes weren’t made, for some reason.

Rabbit-hunt can be a confusing concept, when you look at the level… There are many things you’re limited to, and if you play this incorrectly, you can get yourself stuck. There are a few questions that may come to mind, though…
Why is there a waiting room? All this waiting room has is a trigger crate and two CTF bases right next to each other in a very small area. It just seems pointless because the actual game is supposed to be played in the next level…
Why do the crates block off access to the main circuit for others, when you know they can’t regenerate and you have a bunch of guys stuck in a no fire zone?
The six is for the originality. What could be improved here?
Rabbit hunt never ends. The two CTF bases in the corner are unreachable because the circuit is closed within the walls. A new type of game needs to end. Also, the players need a better chance to avoid being walled in by trigger crates, if they should be walled in at all.

Nice level, more variety of weapons would be nice tho. Some more eyecandy wouldnt be bad too but overall its a good battle level :-)
Diamondus JUMPERS v2.0 is a nice level. I dont have much to say about this level except that it is an early morning release :-)
yawn Diamondus…ok…eyecandy…ok…design…ok yawn what a sleepy review…:-)
Depends if ya like this or not.. but i like this.. because it reminds me a lot of the free game BatteryCheck (duh its bc)
i wonder where i putted mine cd =P
Hehe, yes, kinda tiny, especially for me. I’ve passed the limit by over 100 tiles before, a real bad thing to do is remove sections of ur tileset. You feel like you wasted your time and hard work on somehting ppl will never see. Ah well, cramping up seems to help a lot!
NOTE: I’d much rather cut ot 300 tiles of my tileset than only make it available for TSF, or mybe release two versions, U will NEVER! see me make a tileset only fir TSF.
Ahum a tiny set? It was the biggest one i’ve ever made… :P
A tiny set, with no example level. I must admit, I did like the overall look though. :-)
Still no four stars, NewSpaz ;-)
He just changed the colors a bit, everything is a bit darker than in the "normal" version of "Battery Check".
My thoughts about everything else are in the Review of "Battery Check" (submitted on August 21st 2000).
P.S.: There is still no example level…
Great tileset. Nice looking and well made.
Sorry Newspaz i won’t give you **** for this ;-)
But seriously: this is a tileset made out of screenshots of the game "Batterycheck"
which was partly made by Orange and was based on the Jazz2 engine. I didnt like the game itself that much
but the idea to make a tileset out of it was pretty cool!
It seems to have all basic tiles that are needed and im sure it was a lot of work.
Unfortunately, like many tilesets, it lacks of an example level so i recommend you to download it and make an example level (cause i think the set has some potential)!
This level looks familiar.. ;)
Yeah, I agree with the others that it needs more eye candy, but then again, I really like eye candy (just not good at putting it in my own levels).

Miss eye candy? Everybody said to me that there’s almost to much of that :)
Look better fireclaw.. you can take some other ways if you play wel..
Let’s see. The way between bases is just one path. And I’ve noticed when sometimes I take a wrong turn, I have to pretty much start over again.
And I did notice a few annoying dead-ends. And a few places with tile cutting, but most of that is okay. Not much tile cutting. And maybe it needs more eyecandy. Just a bit. Let’s just say, that level is better then what a newbie can make. :-)
Carrots? Well they’re nice…but lets focus on your level :-)
Lets see: 1) 5 points are average, 2) in my opinion this is an average level.
The design is okay, but i really miss some eyecandy. So its 5 points this time. Dont worry Newspaz :-)
Sorry but I think it’s all about the playing and not about the title or music..
