Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

Well, I downloaded this level because a Mega Man X tileset sounded interesting. What I found was not.

GAMEPLAY:
Well, there’s not very much at all, aside from a little challenge that involves heli-earing down to get some gold coins. Possibly the best part of the whole level. The “hidden weapons” are very easily found, all put together. Very bad placement. Oh, and there is pretty much NO room for actual fighting in here.. It does have a chat area though. ;P

EYECANDY:
Well, the tileset is a rip from Mega Man X, and it could have been done better, but that doesn’t take anything away from the rating. It was used poorly, and looked rather oogly.

WEAPON PLACEMENT:
The only weapons were the “hidden weapons” that I mentioned earlier, and they were all weapon powerups together in a tiny room. I didn’t see any carrots, but there might have been one or two..

MUSIC:
Well, there was no music for the level. That made it more of a pain to play the level. ;P

DOWNLOAD?:
Uhh, no. Better luck next time. Maybe for the tileset, if you like Mega Man, and that’s if you REALLY like it, the tileset isn’t that great to begin with..

OVERALL: 1.5 / 10
I feel that this deserves a 1, but the heli-ears was mildly entertaining for about 30 seconds, you get an extra 0.5 points for that. ;P

Personally I think this tileset does not justify Kirby. I’ve been playing lots of Kirby games lately, and this only includes poorly ripped sprites. The rest looks MS Paint Quality.

If you’re a diehard Kirby Fan, this is probably not good enough for you. Sorry, I don’t think this is good as everyone else does..

One more thing, stop releasing lots of tilesets. Take some time and release one GOOD comprehensive tileset. Lots of versions just makes the whole process very messy.

I don’t feel this is worth rating, but it is VERY cool. I like it. ;) Unfortunately, Lighting doesn’t work for me anymore on my computer, so I won’t be able to see it.

But I can see it on Hugela’s PC. And it does look Spiffy. ;D

I feel special because I am included. =)

Ninja, Hugela knows that, but Sal told him to make it 0, and I agreed. We weren’t expecting Hugela to upload it, or we might have given better advice. shrug

Anyway, onto the review.

The level isn’t bad for a first CTF level ever, and I like it in a weird sort of way. I don’t like the V-Poles, and the food DOES respawn a bit fast. Anyway, it’s sorta fun to play, but a little small. The music is quite good though, it’s from RPG Maker 2003.

Overall, I give this level a 5. It’s not bad, it’s not good, it’s definitely NOT a piece of frozen unicorn nose.. but it’s a fun level, nonetheless. It has lava lamps. ;p

It’s a good level. I like it. ;p

Let me break down the grade for you.

0.1 for the level
0.4 for the music
7.0 for the fact it’s a chicken forest.

Total Score: 7.5

Yesh, I love the example level. ;p

It’s a very good set, but as Trafton said, difficult to use. I won’t be using it myself, but I hope some people use it, as it’s a very good tileset. ;)

I like this pack. It fun.

Edit: Rating Adjusted to a 9.5 because I don’t think I have enough justified to make this a 10. It’s a very fun pack. The only thing I dislike is that when I see the Wizard, I immediately think it is Fooruman. Alas, it is not. ;P[This review has been edited by KJAZZ]

It’s the tileset, not the level, Black Ninja..and it’s a great one at that. Next Moo race will likely use this tileset..:D

Not worth rating. The easiest way to make someone better at dodging seekers is to play online more often. And why the heck is this called “Seeker Trainer?” It suggests that it is a cheating program. Call it “Seeker Training” or something of that sort..

No, not really. But since I worked on it a small bit, I can’t rate it anything except N/A and 10. And this isn’t 10 quality, so I will give it a N/A.

ANYWAAAY…

This is a pretty fun CTF level, and uhm, I can’t really say a lot about it. Just don’t shoot the Blue Base springs with Pepper Spray, whatever you do..Also, I think it might be funner if played in InstaGib, since it is pretty small. Trafton says he will make it bigger in “Version 2” (Why didn’t he just make it bigger THEN upload it? Oh, I get it, he wants his rating higher.. ;p) so look forward to that. ;)

I would say it is a 7.5…but I can’t rate it. Oh well. It’s fun. Download it now. ;p

I have always been a major fan of MidN’s work, especially her school tilesets which until recently I didn’t know she made..^_

Anyway, this tileset has tons of animations, great eyecandy, and all kinds of cool tiles for the eeevil school. ;) A previous version had more tiles, but you could only have 4 animations in it. It is still exceptionally good. 9 is my rating. Download it now, or you’re a major foo, or you’re just an idiot. ;p

Well, I have played these, and assuming that they are the ones you have hosted, than I can give a safe rating. They aren’t great in eyecandy or anything, but they’re fun. Download but only play if Iam Canadian hosts. ;p

Wow. I’ve always loved this tileset, and Foo Races..Trafton already went over everything, so all I can give is this rating..;)

Spoy, why did you put your name, but not your Spaz with colors? If you would have included more rabbits, then my rating will be higher..wink
