w00t! A Treasure Hunt level!
This level is pretty good, but IMO it did have it’s faults, among them being it seems to “lack”… it seems pretty empty and linear at times. Going beyond this, the gem placement could have been improved in a few spots. You did a nice job with the overall layout but it seems to be lacking in the other categories.

IMO it’s great to see a Treasure Hunt level for a change, but this one isn’t my favorite. sorry. Nonetheless you are recommended to download this, hey, it’s TH!

Ugh, I didn’t like this level too much.
To start off, you could have credited the author, whoever he/she may be, of the tileset (as Aiko already mentioned). As for the level itself, well, the bg was annoying (and only looked “right” on 16 bit!) and the design was pretty linear, way too linear for a multiplayer level. The eye could also use some improvement, but overall it was one of the better things in the level (as dull as it looked)

Overall I can’t recommend a download, sorry.

Wow. This CTF pack is simply amazing.
All of the levels have great design, very nice eye candy, excellent event placement and more. The tilesets were used pretty good (nothing to complain about, really) and the CTF bases were placed in nice strategical positions. The music choices… now these are good. They all fit well and add to the level’s overall feel. My only real complaint is that it can get a tad confusing, but that’s majorly to blaim on the level’s size, which is not a problem at all, so I will not really take away from the rating because of it.
Overall this is a must for everyone.

Wow. Single Player levels are a rarity, and this is a good one by SP standards. The tileset was well used, even though the level lacked eye candy in a few spots. The enemies were well placed, allowing for a balanced time. (even though putting lots of enemies in one place can get a bit annoying at times) there was some little creative bits (such as backtracking if you fall), and plenty of other interesting aspects.

Overall this is pretty good and should be downloaded to all SP fans. Heck, all fans of JJ2 levels.

Very nice tileset and level. There are plenty of interesting things to do with the nice selection of tiles in the set, and the example single player level shows this off. IMO, however, the masks in this tileset really weren’t very good and could have been better had the author spent more time on them. There are also a few ripped tiles here and there, as Aiko mentioned, but it’s really not a huge deal.
Oh well, this should definitely be downloaded by tileset fans. 7 points from me.

Pretty simple level/tileset. The “level” using the JJ1 Industrius music (could have been better chosen, IMO) is pretty small and simple, and overall had a hugely empty feel. I suppose this had to do with the tileset, which is also small.

Overall this is slightly below the average. The idea of a trampoline was good, but shouldn’t have been presented in such a small form. Oh well.

The description pretty much covers it, a set of simple triangular structures, in air, all accessable by warps. The design was far below the average and eye candy could stand some improvement. I doubt this would make a very interesting level online. The weapons placement was okay (too much stuff bungled up in one spot!) and everything else was below the average.

No download recommendation from me, sorry.

in truth, I really don’t like this pack.

It has a lot of copied stuff from UT (most noticably the story, as the author mentioned..) and it seems like pretty much every level is basically a variation… with some small tile change arounds and additions. You really ought to have applied more originality to this. Btw, the “Credits” level feels useless, with that long delay tube which would be very unsuitable for multiplayer. Also, the level linking is wrong on a few levels.

Overall I can’t recommend a download for this, sorry.

I feel this level is fairly good, for a Colonius level (very hard to use, therefore a good choice). Most of this level was fairly okay, I liked the eye candy. Event placement needed some work (copter events have their problems, as Aiko said), and the layout was pretty average.
But overall, I feel this is a good level, worth your download, if you enjoy some decent new levels.

Ah, yet another level using one of the most overused tilesets of all time. This one doesn’t succeed at using the tileset so well, I found plenty of bad eye candy and masking bugs, and the level’s lack of music, overall, makes it feel, well, dull. I feel most levels aren’t complete without music, and this level enforces that feeling. The eye candy was fairly dull (layer work was poor), and the layout needed plenty of work.

Overall I’m sure you can find better levels using the Diamondus Set, but like Aiko, I’ll stick to Battle over Carrotus.

PS: You need to use a proper next level setting.

Okay, despite the fact that I don’t see many race levels at all, I really don’t like this much. It has horrible eye candy, no music, and some random event placement. The thing I hated, however, was that annoying level-disappears suddently. It takes a lot of the fun out of everything and succeeds at only fustrating the user (mind you, I never actually completed a lap). The tileset wasn’t used very good…

I was pretty undecided between 3.0 and 3.5 here.

A very simple level, I really don’t like this, it feels as though it was put together in a matter of 1 or so hours (maybe it actually was?), the design was WAY too simple, eye candy was okay, and everything else was pretty below the average. What wasn’t all that great overall though, IMO, was even placement. Mucho improvement needed there.

Overall I can’t recommend this level to download. (undecided between 3.5 and 4 points.)

Wow, a very nice little conversion from the game Lost Vikings! (shame, I’ve never heard of that game.) This tileset is pretty nicely done, contains a good tile for most cases, along with a small example level showing you plenty of interesting things to do with the set. Game converted sets always seem interesting, and this tileset is more than good… I suggest you all DOWNLOAD NOW! (I might edit this, and make my score an 8, Not sure what to give it, really.)

After careful examination of this level, I have to say I don’t like it that much. Platform and layout were okay, along with decent layers. (but they were copied, soo..) the ammo, however, is horribly placed. It feels as though ammo and the like was slapped together randomly (the possibility of you doing this could be true).

I don’t consider this a level worth download (barely below average), but I suppose you might.

Whee. This level gives a nice demonstration of a lot of enemies in an attempt to make it more difficult. But you know what, I think your overdoing of the enemies didn’t add anything to the level. It didn’t make it much harder, just gave it a “shoot all the time in hope that they won’t hurt you” feel. The eye candy could have also been improved significantly as Ace UOI already said. The BG was rather ugly to look at and the foreground didn’t look right.

You really need to spend more time polishing your levels, JJ Tublear. Most of this felt like a mess.

Overall this is fairly average (I was going to give it a 4.5). You might want to download it but probably not.

A fairly good tileset, with a nice beach style effect, creative tiles, and a scary shark (or some might think).

I didn’t like it a whole lot, probably because of the lack of tiles (it all seems to be yellow ish… makes it look like cheese. Mmm, cheese.)

Overall I can recommend a download, if you’re a custom tileset fan.

WOW 3 very awesome CTF levels.

Use of the tilesets, music choices, eye candy and much much more is super awesomeness.
2 of these levels use the CyberSpaz tilesets. The way you used them was superb.
The eye candy in all of these was great to look at.

My only real complaint, sometimes the levels’ size leads some some confusion… base routes are quite hard to get down, and the overall feel of the levels confused me.

Overall this wasn’t the BEST CTF pack I’ve played, but is definitely a great choice for any Jazzer.

A slightly above average level using an overused tileset.

The eye candy is shoved into different areas and totally left out of other areas. The BG was okay and the weapon placement was weird…. the design was choppy, had plent of dead ends and other annoyances too.

Overall you can decide if you wish to download, this is very slightly above average.

A fairly good level using the great (and underused) Medivo set. The level is small as Aiko noted, but it also combines this with a tight feel (which I don’t really like), but that’s okay.
The ammo is sort of slapped together, creating a very weird feel for the whole level. ironically enough, I didn’t like it too much. Oh well.

Undecided between 6.5 and 7, I recommend a download to thee.[This review has been edited by Genotoxin aka iCeD]

This is a pretty decent battle map with some a good bg/polish, but could be improved. The ammo was so sparse, that really dulled the level. And IMO the tubes tend to slow down gameplay when used improperly. Also the powerups, especially the seekers, should be a little harder to access. The eye candy was pretty good, but what really brought this rating down a .5 points was the tight design which I don’t really like much at all.

Oh well. I can recommend a download for this.
