I like the Night World levels, with lot of eyecandy, and some secrets. I also modified these levels with new tilesets and even AngelScript codes, for example transition of level’s colors, Bilsy as scripted enemy in Jungle Party level (I can only beat him with physical attacks, before there is a code IGNOREBULLET), and even scripted enemies in Underground Base (boss changed from Bilsy to Devan, and Bubbas and Bilsys are scripted enemies in hard mode).

This is wonderful!
The theme seems like Jungle1 and Tarzan Treetops tilesets.
There’s textured Background, shallow water, vines, destruct blocks, layout, tiger animations, tiles similiar of Jungle1, ecc.

DR? Yes!

Deleted my previous review, by god this is one amazing tileset. After 14 years it still upholds everything you love in a pretty tileset. It is actually better then NickStadlers tilesets.

Old ShadowGPW to young ShadowGPW, who cares that you have to use layer 5 to improve eyecandy and gameplay. The tileset is just amazing.

There are some minor bugs and annoyances, but a smart editor can make something beautiful out of it.

In other words, a fantastic tileset. Well done.

I have to say these are very good levels. While playing I felt like I was on the original levels. They have very good music especially the first level, good eyecandy and you deal well with the tilesets. I even found a bonus level which reminds me of the JJ1 bonus level (no enemies, can’t die, full of goodies). Also i found a great amount of secrets (probably there are even more that i didn’t find). The medivo level was a bit short and weird but whatever (kinda reminded me of medivo 2 from JJ1). Difficulty: not too hard not too easy. I don’t remember dieing but my health definitely went to 1 a few times. It’s a must try for JJ2 single player fans.
Download definitely recommended.

i’ve just finished it. it’s epic, also with those really old tilesets! it has the oldschool atmosphere like the in the original game. the eyecandy was all okey, everything were placed good. it could be a little harder, mainly the boss battle.. i liked the secrets really, btw the bonus level could be more creative and longer but that was good also (: i found everything, i think, but i enjoyed looking for the coins (:

thank you, great work!

It has really good graphics, and it is nice to see. But the leaves are composable, and that makes the forest appear too squared!

And the layer 5 is used as sprite background. That disgusts me.

Layers 6-7 are beautiful, but only usable on 640×480, while 320×240 is the default SP resolution. (Labrat, Hell, Damn)

Anyway, this tileset is rich!

I don’t know what people are talking about when they say that this is one of Agama’s lesser tilesets. None of her tilesets are anything short of spectacular.

Art Style:

Ticks all the right boxes for me. The shininess of many of the tiles and the crazy palette modifications have won me over many times. Seems loosely based on Orbitus as well. I am pleased to award this a strong 8.9.

Diversity of Tiles:

Such a wide range of scenery to place in a level, with the elaborate pipes already offering a swarm of possibilities just by themselves. Let your imagination run wild, JCS’ers, this one takes a solid 9.4.

Layer Management:

Hm, this might be the weak point of this monster, but that being said, it still smashes weaker tilesets to dust. Many could get away with just layers 3 and 4 forming the main body of the level. I give this a 7.8.

Environment:

What a crazy environment we have here, lavish with detail and eyecandy, although it’s not a good choice for novices. My advice, get some practice first, then make a beeline for it when you’re good enough. Solid 9.5

Result:

Art Style – 8.9
Diversity of Tiles – 9.4
Layer Management – 7.8
Environment – 9.5

Total —> 8.9

Final Rating: 9

Agama doing what she does best: making masterpiece tilesets, again and again.

Art Style:

One of the best forests I’ve ever seen, takes Tarzan’s Treetops by the scruff of the neck and drives it into the dirt. Makes mincemeat of lesser tilesets. Solid 8.5.

Diversity of Tiles:

Obviously many of the tiles do the foliage for the canopy and leaves, but there’s plenty of room for complex branches and other great things. The wood structure things are also a very good little quirk. I made a level using this and showed it to my 3-year-old brother, and he loved the animals that can be animated. Nets a 9.6.

Layer Management:

Okay, this may not be another Desolation, but it can do very well here too. Most of the layer work will be focused onto the canopy and leaves with many levels, but that’s no restriction. I give this a 7.8

Environment:

I don’t really care about any of the disadvantages of a forest location here, as this tileset has none of them. Agama truly shines here, making her skills felt even to the younger generation. Tileset walks away with a 8.3 under the belt here.

Result:

Art Style – 8.5
Diversity of Tiles – 9.6
Layer Management – 7.8
Environment – 8.3

Total —> 8.55

Final Rating: 8.7

Every now and then you get someone who just makes tileset-making look easy.

Art Style:

Despite not liking the ankhs, the tileset makes a desert city look a lot less boring than it does in real life. A difficult environment to make a masterpiece from, and Agama has done extremely well. I give this a 7.4.

Diversity of Tiles:

There’s certainly a lot that can be done with houses. Holiday Feaw and Town House have proven that, and so does this one. I’ve played Mirror’s Edge, and I can just see this tileset serving a good use there. Excellent work, Agama, this one gets a 7.9

Layer Management:

This one is another merciless blow to the head when it comes to layers. The tilesets that can make the main body of the level with fewer parallel layers are the ones that shine, which this one does. Agama has once again proven her superlative skills. I give this a 7.7

Environment:

I’m not a fan of desert cities, but nevertheless, that doesn’t impair the rating of this tileset at all. Purely because of this tileset, I can bring myself to make a level in an environment I usually never use. Well done, this gets a 7.1

Result:

Art Style – 7.4
Diversity of Tiles – 7.9
Layer Management – 7.7
Environment – 7.1

Total —> 7.525

The weakest of the Agama tilesets. The drawing quality is lower than that of other Agama sets (although it is still pretty good), and the theme is not too justified. On the bright side of things, this tileset contains of a lot of originality and is ideal for creating an abstract level.

This tileset has a great art style. While it is not the most versatile set in existance, it is a very creative image of the concept of a “heaven”, and can produce very nice looking levels.

In my opinion, the best tileset ever.
I just love the way you made the clouds and there is lots of eyecandy you can use, unbelivable.

The Jazz statues with the flame are just perfectly made.

You really deserve a 10!
