Good level pack. mustly eyecandy is needed -0.5. levels should be longer -1.0. tip: add a boss atleast 1 boss even -1.0
Let’s get over with this quick:
-The levels were way too short. Also, they were very easy (apart from the two or three traps you encounter during the pack).
-Eyecandy was basic: Background was very, very basic at some levels, the rest was below average. Too empty! :(
-The animated hurt events (factory machines, etc.) are brilliant. A good way to add extra fun to your levels!
-I just like the vikings :D
Overall: a 6.5. Good use of animations, but the levels are way too short and standard.
Wee i like this campaign .. Originall graphics in the set (i also rate to this pac)I agree also withenigma but i don’t think there should be more real enemies … The would’t fit in this lvl (large bees vs small wikings :( )
Well the lvl are a lil bit small but make fun to play. Respect that u made that a campaign with just one tileset ; )
Go on . Guys dl this[This review has been edited by mirrow]
I agree with Enigma.
The levels aren’t bad. There are a lot of them. The tileset really rocks.
I didn’t find this nearly as good as you all.
One, I believe these sets are much better used in Single Player, which I see you have also done.
Two, I would advise ANYONE against placing chat rooms in their levels.
Three, these levels just didn’t have a battlish feeling to them. Weapons out in plain sight is good, but I don’t feel that you placing enough of them. More powerups would have been nice too.. and not always where you can see them.
I agree with red_xii. When you go past the slugs and it says “oh, s***”, I think you should change that, but I like the way it looks like you’re trapped but you can get a shortcut and a purple gem out of it. Swearing is for starcraft:P
But the rest is good, the first two levels are short but that’s kind of because they’re introductory. An 8 from me.
COOL TILESET
and lvl
but by a lvl is the backround ugly
trunks
Nice and funny, cool music, cool tileset all is cool!
NNIICCE
Taz
The levels in this are way to short.
The stuff thats done is fairly good but theres to much confusion and weirdness.
The levels are cool and the tilesets are neet, but I would expect
much longer and harder levs.
Interesting mini dude stuff that u see alot in them but it just kept going on without my knowing of what i was playing heh. This was an ok lev pack that I wouldn’t recomment to everyone
This thing is very over rated.[This review has been edited by Spotty]
First rating woo :D
Anyway, this is a fairly long single player episode. The villains aren’t really what you have to worry about.
No, because these levels are full of hurt events. Green hands snaking around the ground, mummies walking in formation, and lots of dangling blocks and crushers. I especially like the place where you mustn’t fall down, and all the time you have to avoid the falling blocks, which threaten to knock you down.
The eyecandy and use of tileset and stuff are good. There’s quite a bit of originality.. I think. It could well be taken from the game. But you have to love jumping onto the shield of that viking who’s continuously jumping up and down.
Throughout the game, three vikings accompany you. They don’t really do anything. But it’s nice.
If you’re NOT a fan of having to time when you go through places, this isn’t for you.
The eyecandy and tileset use here is great. It looks just fine. Indeed, it is the design and gameplay that lowers this rating.
The first level is arranged in a bunch of different areas, linked together. Like Battle1/2. None of them are all that good, and the weapon placement needs work.
The second level is a big icey place. About half of it seems to be a cave system, and I think this level has the best ammo placement. And there’s a generic platform area.
In level three, we are treated to an eye murdering place which resembles Candion. Annoyingly, blocks appear and disappear all over. There is an airboard area, like in Treasure Hunt B.
Level four is a spaceship with iffy design. It’s a little hard to navigate, you see.
I’m off to download the episode.. which will hopefully be better. Nice work with the magnet, by the way.
I wrote a 10X longer review for this somewhere, but it went away….. O well…. This level is quite cool but it still is too small, I like the idea and the concept is good, but…. too small as said before and not alot of eyecandy, probably the tileset. Good use of animation tiles though and another thing… that made me drop 9 to 7, DO NOT SWEAR!!! IT SAID…. ok I won’t say it but DO NOT SWEAR!!!, the traps got a little tiresome after a while………. and, please, Jazz is clean….[This review has been edited by Red_XIII]
The 4 levels are nice. Nice layout, nice eyecandy, just nice.
The tileset really rocks. Those where the good oll’ days, Lost Vikings………
And cause I feel really good today….
8 points for this levelpack.
I like this tileset very much. It has alot of eyecandy to make any level using it look very good. I would consider using this tileset unlike alot of other ones that i download.
Definely good, well designed and very, very original tilest!!
