Well first of all, in making your first level I would recommend not using a custom tileset, because they are often consisting of 1 useful tile or very hard to use, thus making it harder to make a good level with them.
Second, this is your first level, so you have not yet mastered (ahum) jcs and that makes it a little predictable in what the rating will be, because there are always people better at making levels, but nevertheless, this level is bad, it uses tiles meant for background in the level, has unfinished walls, tiles just placed somewhere in the level and (i think I really know what it is) bad eyecandy.

My advice to improve: try a lot before you go uploading and publishing levels, because you need the practice… (we all did at first).

Good program, easy options, many options. All in all, worth a download.

This is a level i have seen many times, Its good, the tileset and music are good(for christmas that is :)) and the eyecandy is good too.

Not a very good tileset, I think it misses a lot of things.

Nice pictures, though most of them arent funny or anything.

Might be useful for homepages but if you dont plan on making one, I wouldnt suggest downloading

This level is not very suited for actual battle, I think…

It also doesnt have all the nececary eyecandy, giving it a bit less entertaining sight. Nevertheless, the idea of the level is ok and – besides a few minor layer bugs – so is the way it was put to action.

3 places where you can easily get stuck, a wall bug at the right of the level and non-fitting music. Apart from that the level is good.

What is assault anyway???

This tileset indeed is great, as is are the levels. 7th lava fall is a bit big (well im not sure, it seems so when playing:)

This level indeed is quite original, but it has some major bugs in it, not just at the start.

Still, this level is worth downloading…

What has the j20 got against hotels??? It seems to me that everywhere where a hotel is mentioned or placed, the grades aren’t higher than 5!

I think what you guys here are doing is rating very low because the tileset is TSF only and for hotels. Im dont agree with that. The tileset is better than most I’ve seen (im a collector so i have lots) and I personally like hotels (when well built), thats why im giving this an 8.

I think these pictures are quite ok (so im giving them a 10 to get the average grade up a bit heh), but they really should be separated, because a bmp like this is of little use[This review has been edited by ShadowGpW]

This levelset really has a lot in common with regular jazz, but it still has some layer bugs in it. It is also not difficult enough.
The music is great, very great.

If this really are Nights first levels, then he is very good at levelbuilding. I think that he meant his first finished levels, but im not sure.

Its nice to put tilesets together, but in this case the looks are a bit different from the original (it might be my pc)

The level uses only deckstra and is quite good (for a ctf:)

Maybe some day, someone will put ALL jj1 tilesets in one file… especially dreempipes…

Finally i can play jj1 again!! yay!

Its a good tutorial for starting people, but some things that are “forbidden” can make a great effect ingame and the explanation of the tutorial is very basic…

I think that cmdr Dats has a very spoken opinion about levels.

Its good to take a look at it anyway, cause most of the stuff in the tutorial is useful.

To Aiko: This level is not too big to download!

Now this level is fun to play, but not as battle. It really is a level just to wish everyone a happy new years and it suits that purpose. I think the tileset should have been a custom one with champaign, but i havent seen any of those…

The JJ3 title music sounds cool, guess theres hope for a jj3 after all!

So if you decide to download this level, then dont use it in battle….

Nice tileset, it has enough variation and the example has all nececary things in it.

For actual battle the example level is a bit too big (and with too little ammo)…

I have not seen KJAZZ’s other levels, but this one isnt very good….

The level is short, the secrets are too easy to find because of layer flaws and the warp near the endboss just keeps warping you to safety, which is wrong.
