You know what Skulg? This is an excellent first tileset. Slimeset is neat, slimy and nice. The rocks remind me of Agama’s Heaven tileset which I like very much.
However, there isn’t much eyecandy here except from those slimy stuff (which I really don’t want to know what they actually are yuck!) and some green globes but I still don’t think it’s too important as long as you don’t make a single player lvl out of it.
Slimeset has also got most of the basic tiles a tileset needs such as vines, poles and blox. However, the tileset lack signs and spikes which is quite a shame…
Slimeset clearly deserves a 8 from me. I hope your later tilesets will be even better Skulg. :-)
This is an excellent tileset.
Everyone: Download this or get eaten. :P[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
An excellent tileset. Great eyecandy and miscellaneous stuff. Download recommendation. :)
What Electric said…
Sry JazzSpaz. This isn’t a very good lvl at all. There are far too many dead ends, the two bases aren’t connected to each other and weapons placement is really…er…not good.
The eyecandy is quite good though. The lvl has got almost everything Nature’s Ruins has to offer and it looks really nice.
Hidden Nature Ruins is an below average lvl and for that I’ll give it an 5.5.
Excellent tilesetpack! I like Corrupted Sanctuary the most but Alien Spacelab is also very good (it doesn’t look like a lab though).
Both tilesets have lots of eyecandy and look very 3D-ish as Piccolo said. The textures are well-drawn, there are lots of great animations and you can use the tileset’s for all kind of lvls.
I don’t think I’ll need to write anymore. Download NOW.
Yay! This rules! :-D
The gameplay is fantastic and it’s very fun to play in the lvl. I can’t say the same about the eyecandy though. But it doesn’t matter. The Marshland of Evil deserves this 8.5.
Strong download recommendation.
Why are so many people rating this tileset a 10?! It hardly deserves an 7!
The eyecandy is quite good and the set has got all the basic tiles but there’s still nothing special with it. I’ll just give Townsville an 6.2 and go somewhere quiet…[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
This is not a good treasure lvl. It’s got no background, no weapons, no eyecandy and a whole bunch of blue gems all over the place. Some tiles are also misplaced and everything looks quite bad.
I doubt that you spent a long time on this lvl, Voldard. I could do it in 30 seconds.
It’s not worth downloading this…
Excellent tileset, Skulg! I absolutely LOVE it!! Death Metal is simply…er…darn…I forgot the word I was gonna write. But you know what I mean Skulg, don’t you?
Death Metal is a very small tileset. It has got only about 320 tiles and a couple tiles are pretty useless. However, the tileset is very well designed and tiles are sensibly placed without getting all confusing. The few animations in the tileset are fabulous and they look very realistic. I can’t say that this tileset is very useful though. It’s only capable of making scary lvls with (something that suits me just fine :-D). But these few things shouldn’t really put you off, cause there are much better stuff coming up!
The eyecandy of the tileset, for example, is just great. It’s got loads and loads of bones and skulls around making the tileset seem even more…er…scary. The bones can also act as a kind of bridge, very similar to the one’s in Inferno. Some tiles are also covered in blood (no, not my blood) but the blood kinda looks like paint… However, the blood is very well drawnand it still looks very creepy. There are also some other things which can add to the eyecandy. But I ain’t gonna tell you ppl that! You got to download the tileset and find out for yerself. :-P
Death Metal is also a fully equipped tileset. It’s got background tiles for all background layers and has got trigger, buttstomp, destruct tiles too. And that’s not the end. Vines, hooks, poles and shiny, metal spikes are part of the tileset too. As you can see, Skulg has put everything a lvl designer needs in Death Metal. :-)
Now, my fingers are hurting now, so I’m gonna stop writing now. Thanks a lot for making your best ever tileset, Skulg. :-) You deserve this big, fat, juicy, yummy (and so on) 9.
To everyone else: Download NOW.[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
YaY! I’m the first one to review this thingy! However, it looks like another average CTF lvl…
Tokyo Bunnys is a CTF lvl made by Razz. It’s very good designed and neat in some places but can sometimes have very bad gameplay.
The eyecandy of the lvl is very good. It uses everything the tileset Rising Sun offers including calm, floating clouds, rabbit’s with samurai swords, mountains and some oriental style houses. Oh, btw, the music sounds very nice. (-D
The weapons placement is even better. There’s not too much or too little of anything and all the weapons are decently placed. However, I don’t like the soda pops cause food in multiplayer lvls have never been a good idea.
The gameplay of Tokyo Bunnys aren’t of the same high standard as the eyecandy and weapons placement though. There are loads of dead ends (10 to be exact), the poles with the springs are annoying and the lvl isn’t properly masked which means that there will be a CTF bug when someone play the lvl.
Since Tokyo Bunnys has got good weapons placement and eyecandy but bad gameplay I’m going to give it an 6.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
There’s no nxt lvl setting…there’s absolutely no eyecandy…there’s no ammo…there’s only a couple turts to shoot…the spikeballs are too annoying and too boring…the lvl is too short…the boss is very hard to defeat since you dun have any good weapons…
To make a long review short: don’t download this lvl.
What everyone said…
(I will only give it an 7.7 though)
Ugh! This lvl suck! It’s too empty, got no eyecandy at all, hasn’t got an nxt lvl setting and all you do is flying an airboard around nowhere shooting some bad guys. Plz! Upload GOOD lvls.
Yay! I’m the second one to review this lvl!
Well…umm…umm…Defence of the Paradise is a very good and well made CTF lvl. It does use the overused Carrottus tileset but that doesn’t matter too much cause I like the tileset. The lvl’s got good but confusing eyecandy and has got a little too much ammo. The gameplay is OK though, and there aren’t much obstacles around. And also, there was an dead end on pos 79, 17 which I got Unhit to fix in this version. :-D
Since it looks like my review isn’t very detailed the review will now be divided into sections…
Ahhh…sections…
WEAPONS PLACEMENT
There are seekers in this versoin!! + points. There are far too little seeks around!! – points. The ammo is well placed and is scattered neatly all over the lvl. More + points. Too much ammo. More – points. Is this simple enough for you idiots out there? :-P
EYECANDY
Good eyecandy here, Defence of the Paradise uses almost everything the Carrottus tileset offers, there are pumpkins, carrots, vines, spikes, nice smiling flowers and much, much more. What I will give an BIG + for is that Unhit and Songoku didn’t use those red, giant carrots cause they are ANNOYING. But! The eyecandy is sometimes too extreme and can be quite confusing. Also, I noticed that, on the blue base, a vine is blocking Eva’s face!
GAMEPLAY
Good gameplay here. There’s not much to say really. The platforms are well made and the game can go on really fluentlty. However, there are some bad placed springs which makes you bounce up when you want to fall down. I noticed it in a CTF game. Very annoying!
IS THIS LVL FUN?
Yes it is! :-P
CONCLUSION
A very good lvl here by Unhit and Songoku and just because it uses the Carrottus tileset doesn’t mean that it isn’t good. I’ll give Defence of the Paradise (btw, the name is so stupid) an 8.7. Download this NOW.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.[This review has NOT been edited by White Rabbit :-P]
Not the most useful Jazz2 program, but it does work and might be to some help for someone…somewhere…
Because the program is more useful to some ppl than to others, I’m going to give it an N/A[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
Violet doesn’t seem to like this lvl very much. Well I don’t really like it either.
The ammo placement is, in my opinion, quite good although it seems to be far too little ammo around.
I couldn’t find much tile bugs at all but there are one or two dead ends which (I discovered that yesterday) was very annoying.
The eyecandy of Carrot Battle is above average but it’s a little confusing, especially a the bottom of the lvl were the big carrots block your sight, and in some places the eyecandy is too little.
Carrot Battle has got good gameplay. There aren’t much obstacles around, there are springs and poles placed in the right position. But there are some places which is quite Jazz and Lori unfriendly which gives Spaz the advantage in Carrot Battle.
Carrot Battle is quite an average lvl but it’s very fun to play in (I discovered that yesterday too) so ppl might want to download this.
Carrot Battle gets an 6.5 from me.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
River, made by Turtle, is a very good and well made tileset. It has got great textures and eyecandy making it really look like an river or riverbank.
EYECANDY
The eyecandy of the tileset is very nice. It’s got loads of plants, suitable for putting under the river as well as on the ground and some nice animations of a river and of a waterfall. There are also some other stuff like a nice, small bridge, a spiderweb with a giant red eyed spider (perhaps he didn’t sleep too well ;-) and some characters including a Spaz, a Jazz, a frog and a fishing Lori. And by the way, the animated fish on Lori’s fishing hook is very well made. Oh, and not to forget the big and excellent background. Overall, the eyecandy of this tileset satisfies me. Nothing more to say.
HOW EASY IS THIS TILESET TO USE?
Well, being (not!) a great and experienced lvl builder, I can confidently say that this tileset can be very easy to use. It’s small and the tiles are decently placed. So good news for you lvl building newbies out there! (-D
MASKING
Ugh! Can’t say much good about the masking of River here. The other reviewers didn’t exactly tell Turtle HOW the masking is bad. Well, I will. The ground, for a start, isn’t very well made. There are 3 different tiles to use as the ground and they’re all masked differently which I will, unless fixed, be giving – points for. The slopes and walls are even badly masked. If you turn the masking on, it looks kinda like a canyon! There are bumps and rough marks all over the place. The bad masking makes the tileset less suitable for singleplayer.
USEFULNESS
Since the River tileset does have everything a good tileset needs, I’d it can be used for any kind of lvl and make it look good.
OVERALL
A excellent tileset for a new tileset builder.
A good tileset if you’re an experienced tileset builder.
An alright tileset if you’re good tileset builder.
A bad tileset if you’re a professional tileset builder.
This is all! The River tileset by Turtle gets an 7.2 and a download recommendation from me!
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Yeah, really nice stuff. :-D
The tileset’s textures (I like the sand) are really well made and everything looks really…er…cute.
There are loads of eyecandy like some flags, cool signs, nice backgrounds (trees and stuff) and loads of green fishies.
The ship part is also very cool and the example lvl showed you what you could do with those few tiles. Very nice!
G-Force Island 2 is much better and original than version 1. You can do a lot of stuff with this tileset like build a boat, make a island or a cross between both of them. Something the original G-Force Island couldn’t do.
However, the background from Epic’s Beach tileset is still there, which I will be taking points off for.
Well, there’s not much to say anymore. G-Force island version 2 may still got its ripped background but it is a very well made tileset and those new tiles rock. (-D I’ll give this tileset an 8 and a download recommendation.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Quite a ok lvl. Not a great one. Not a bad one.
The lvl starts of far too dark and it’s very annoying and quite hard too.
The enemy placement is also kind of weird. There are too much of them and they’re all packed together which makes the easy targets.
Weapons placement is good, nothing wrong here and the secret in the lvl is also well hidden.
The tileset usage is above average but as Violet said, sometimes it looks wrong.
Beach Party is quite an average lvl so it’s not an must download but if you want to download it, then do it. I’ll give this lvl an 6.0
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
BTW: One of my lvls are named Beach Party. Plz don’t copy my lvl’s names. :-P
Yay! I’m the first one to review this lvl!

The lvl’s got good but confusing eyecandy and has got a little too much ammo. Also, I REALLY, REALLY don’t like the idea of having a lvl without seekers. Even nonpowered up ones are good. The gameplay is OK too, and there aren’t much obstacles around. However, there is an dead end on pos 79, 17 which I fixed but it seems to me that Unhit deleted my one way events. :-(
Since it looks like my review isn’t very detailed the review will now be divided into sections…ahhh…sections…
