Heck Hole is quite an over rated lvl (too over rated actually) and I really think Stiletto’s reviews are a little bit unfair. Oh well, nm. Let’s get on with the review. (Have you noticed that I almost always say that? ;-P)
Hmmm, we got some nice weapons placement here. Everything is neatly organized into small (and big) packs. However, the two carrots in the lvl are a bit too close. It would be much better if you moved them apart Magoo.
Now, as I mentioned before, we got some good weapons placement in this lvl. But…the eyecandy isn’t too good. The lava falls are very confusing because it isn’t transparent and you can’t see where you’re going. Also, the lvl doesn’t use all the eyecandy the tileset offers you. (Well, at least that’s my opinion, you can tell me if I’m wrong if you want to Magoo) So…um…the eyecandy isn’t exactly brilliant, it’s rather boring actually but it doesn’t matter much. I’ve never liked the censored tilesets anyway.
Gameplay is very good though. Springs in the right place, well placed platforms and…er…other stuff. You get my meaning, don’t you? :-P There are loads masking bugs in the lvl though but I’m just gonna ignore those cause they’re not exactly spoiling the gameplay.
Overall, a good lvl. Heck Hole gets an 7 and a download recommendation from me.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Yeah, really nice stuff. :-D
The tileset’s textures (I like the sand) are really well made and everything looks really…er…cute.
There are loads of eyecandy like some flags, funny signs, nice backgrounds (trees and stuff) and loads of green fishies.
However, there isn’t exaclty anything special or original about this tileset. It is, in my opinino, pretty boring really and I’ve noticed that the background was taken from Epic’s Beach tileset.
Well, there’s not much to say anymore. G-Force island may be boring but it’s still quite well made. Download this.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Yay! I’m the first to rate this thingy.
Can’t say it’s much useful however. I got the ideas but they’re a little bit weird and might confuse ppl (it means that most ppl probably won’t get it).
But still, good try and maybe it will be of use to other jazzers.
Download recommendation? Ehm…maybe.
Since Derby’s review is so darn long and detailed…there doesn’t seem to be anything left to say about Chemicals Laboratory. However, I don’t like this lvl so much that I’ll give this an 8. It does have some dead ends and hasn’t got much powerups either. I’ll give it an, in my opinion, fair 7.
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS?!
The lvl is unfinished and is also in a TOTAL mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ehm…this lvl is certainly over rated (except from Aiko of course).
Well, no offense, but this is an really bad lvl. It’s got almost no ammo at all and the gameplay isn’t exactly brilliant either. Also, there are food. YUMMY in singleplayer but EURGH! in multiplayer. ;-P
The lvl lacks eyecandy too. There aren’t much animations around (except from the flying leafes) and the lvl looks very…simple and…naked (kind of). And of course (Aiko already said this) the spikes are both weird and annoying.
I can’t recommend A Diamond Forever!! to anyone really. But still, good try Spotty. I’ll give this an 5.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Very nice lvl! The eyecandy is very good with statues of monsters, mini castles and some…er…other Medivo thingys I can’t really explain. Weapons placement is completely fine but there are too few seekers and the powerups aren’t very well placed at all. But still, weapons placement is FINE. However, the lvl’s weak point is its gameplay. The lvl is very small and there’s not enough room and space to use the weapons you’ve got. There are loads of obstacles and masking bugs too which lowers the gameplay even further. But perhaps it’s just me, I do prefer large lvls.
Well, I’m reaaaaaaally getting tired of writing reviews so it’s gonna be a short one this time. :-)
I’ll give Kindle Keep an 7 because of good eyecandy and weapons placement and a tiny little 0.2 cause there aren’t much lvls made with Medivo these days.
Download this…
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
EDIT: I’d….prefer not to tell you. :-P[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
…what Aiko said…
But I’ll lower the rating by 0.5…
Mmmm…. Very nice. The gameplay is excellent and so is the weapons placement. The lvl does however, lack eyecandy and powerups. The only one is the seeker powerup and I guess that’s why there are so many carrots around. But then…who cares? I’ll give this an nice, normal 6.5. :-)

White Rabbit.
Wow! This is one of the most useful programd I’ve ever stumbled across over!! You can do a lot of stuff like check out which servers are up, how many ppl there are in the server and who they are. Also, you can see the lvl the server is hosting. Neat! (-D This is worth downloading folks… Here, take this 8.5.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
A nice tileset for a first one. It’s got good eyecandy such as spaceships, lifts, pruple acid, purple waterfalls and spacey stuff. You can do a lot with this tileset although not TOO much cause it’s very simple. Also, the masks aren’t very nice and you have to use layer5 to add background tiles. There are also ripped tiles from Overlord’s “Top Secret” tileset and Cell’s “Battle Ships” tileset conversion. A 6.0 and a maybe from me here…

White Rabbit.
I’m sorry Saiyan, I accidentally downloaded this. ;-P
Oh well, since I downloaded it, might as well write an review.
Not much to say really. It sucks. The tileset is awful and the gameplay is YUCK! There are too many obstacles and almost no eyecandy at all. I really don’t want to waste my time writing an review of such an poor lvl so let’s just say:
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Whoa! This tileset is absolutely AWESOME!! The textures are fantastic and everything looks so great and cartooninc or whatever. ;P All the tiles for a hotel tileset are there including TVs (broken TVs as well), computers, beds, toilet stuff, kitchen stuff, doors and loads and loads and loads and loads of other hotel things. There isn’t much more to say really. Oh, and the background is quite nice too. :) This is without doubt the best tileset I’ve ever seen. Download NOW.
Cheerio!! :-P
You call this scary?!!!!!!!!! I don’t.:-P
Well, anyway…it is quite a good tileset for a first and the eyes are very cool. :-) The tileset has got all the basic tiles so, I’ll give it an 7.5 and a download recommendation.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.[This review has been edited by White Rabbit]
Yes, Tribal Temple CTF is quite good. It has got excellent gameplay and ammo placement but there are far too few of the ammo making it annoying and the eyecandy really SUCK. There are also too many carrots (3 carrots and an full health one) so this isn’t exactly the best CTF lvl Cell has created.
Now, lemme see…ehm…this lvl gets an fairly good 7.0 from me and an download recommendation.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
I thought Desert Forces was Unhit’s first tileset? Oh well, nm. Let’s get on with the review:
New Castle is quite a neat although small tileset by Unhit. I’m gonna write the review in different sections to make it easier for you to read and understand it.
The background is beautifully textured and is also very detailed. There are also other background tiles like the rain which is quite ugly and simple but it works. And also the white stone walls. ?! Heard that?! White, my favourite colour!! :-D (OK, I admit, the white walls aren’t completely white, some areas are kinda grey. Happy now? :-P) Alright…er…because the background tiles are so great (and HUGE) I’ll guess I have to give an whole 3.5+ for that.
The animations are quite good too and I couldn’t see anything wrong with them. Unfortunately, there are only animations of burning candles or whatever and it would be good if there was more. You could for example make the eyes of the rabbits in the paintings move to give ppl the feeling the castle is haunted. Well, since there is nothing wrong with the animations, I’ll give them an 1.5. Good job.
Now on to the basic blocks. There are many (if not all) basic blox here. The vines, spikes, poles, destruct and buttstomp blocks and also (obviously) walking blox. There’s not much to say really, almost everthing is here. Nice on Unhit. 1.5+ for these stuff. :-)
The eyecandy, however isn’t exactly New Castle’s strongest point. It has got the beautiful background and the rain but there are also some paintings of Jazz, Spaz and Lori to put in the walls. And also, to make the “I’m in an oldy old castle” feeling better, Unhit has put some windows, some swords and spears in too. However, I would prefer some knights with armour and maybe some bows? That would look much better. After all, it is a castle. Then there are also..ehm…lots of other castle stuff I’m too lazy to talk about. Well, anyway. The eyecandy is OK. But I’ll only give it an 0.2 cause there isn’t much originality.
And here comes the last section: Usefulness and ease of use. Well, let’s put it this way: the tileset doesn’t look much like a castle at all even though I know Unhit tried his best. I mean, where the heck is the battlements? (Towers) And the drawbridges? And the knights in shining armour? And the great big walls? The tileset looks quite like some kind of monastery rather than a castle. But perhaps it doesn’t matter much cause I’ve seen the tileset and it looks very easy to use. (That’s definitively good news for newbies. :-)
Now, for the final rating…6.7! Not exactly an GREAT rating but I think New Castle deserves it. However, even though the rating isn’t that good, I recommend you to download this tileset cause…er…cause I said so. :-P
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Very good race lvl. The obstacles aren’t that original but I like those trigger rooms. The race lvl has also got pinball bumpers and flippers which I really like. :-) +0.5 for that. The lvls eyecandy is also pretty good but it could be improved by adding…er…stuff.
Well, the race lvl is quite easy but it is your first so I’ll go easy on you. I’ll give Plastic Speedzone an 7.5 and a download recommendation.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
Very neat with good eyecandy and gameplay. It isn’t confusing either. Download recommendation? Yes.
