Rating Atlantis Tileset
Rating Practical:
It is not the most practical one, because it is very hard to create a good background with streaming water. Ischa was able to create it for his Treasure Hunt-level, I not.
And LAVA UNDERWATER? That doesn’t fit.
Rank: Not good
Rating Beauty:
It is very beautiful. You can create beautiful tilesets for J2O.
Rank: Good/Very Good
Rating Orginality:
It is extremely orginal. Yes, there are another Atlantis-tilesets, but they were not fit, because Ischa needs marble blocks, no mud. Your tileset is very orginal, with that people. Is that people that can breath underwater?
Rank: Perfect
Final Rating: 7½
Download recommendation: YES!
Its just exoticus with all the samples changes and sped up. I don’t rate this.
No ‘ and spaces in the .zip file, please.
next time either take the time to upload it properly or actully up load it.
level:woah! that was hard, it’s allmost impossible to beat, the level is like go here get stuck, type jjk. after a while a gave up and used cheats. YAY! i win!
Gameplay:lots of it, so many crates… noooo, this level is going to give me night-mares of millions of crates that do something and your trapped, stuck and or frusterated.
Music:i didn’t realy pay attention beacause of the frusteration level of this level.
Frusteration level: 9/10= deadly frusterated,i wonder if someone might go suicied it’s so frusterating.
eye candy: lets just say it dosn’t help with the frusteration. It’s not bad, its weird.
score:5= the 50 % mark ( 1% from bad)
This levels major downfall was, FRUSTERATION!
Improvemants: less puzzles less frusteration.
Beat: alot beter than your 1st remix, this song actully has a beat( bunch of hoorays from the crowd).
Tune: kinda good, has some stuff from thee jj2 menu song, some thing eles but i can’t just , just find out or get my mind on what eles is in it.it sounds a little kidsh ( like higher softer notes) it has a good mix of sounds (wich in this case the sounds arn’t bad, unlike some songs…).
Length: pretty short, in my oppinion it should be way longer ( way longer in this case means 40 secs more or so cuz the song is just like 45 secs any ways)
Score:5.5= don’t care much for, not bad either , but closer to good.so then it’s gooder then bad.
Why?well it’s short and like for your first remix it lacks groove.
And for why i did n/a for download recommendation, why is beacause i don’t dis like it and i don’t like it so… How can i give it a download recommendatoin?i dunno my self.
Beat: it has a o.k beat, the bells are the only thing that gives it a beat.
Tune (or the music other than the beat):
pretty basic, has some stuff that i have no idea what there called.i didn’t like the music my self ( there may be someone who does), i thought the music was kind of reapeting. it had the same sounds over and over, well not together like, boom boom boom. it was spread out sorta but still lots of reapeating.
Original vs remix: well i can’t realy say anything in this other then i never heard the original.
What it needs: it needs some groove man! Whats music with out anny groove? well in my point of view this song has no groove. To get groove, uh… um… mybe some bass guitar and bass drum mybe?i dunno. but this kind of song can’t realy get any or groove in it, or could it?
Score: (drummrole) 4
not bad,not good in between
Well for me it dosn’t say “unsupported level file 2.03, this level cannot be loaded” the level works on my comp.
THe level:It’s pretty big, has a bunch of houses, a pinball Game thing,a rollercoaster(sucker tube),lake, some weird cave, and a resturant and some other stuff.
Eyecandy: kinda good, the rain drops are hypnotizing though,it has nice big carrots in the back ground.
Music:I think the music suited the level good.It was sorta wonder landish tho.
Items: lots of them, even though thhere in 1 spot.
gameplay: not many, but in the pin ball thing it is a differnt story.
Idea of level: i think you could have kinda coppied this level from a friend of mine. And i uploaded that level. And it’s called super town ,uses labrat tileset (now deleated). It had pretty much the same stuff that your level had + more.1 thing super town didn’t have was houses for fear off dark, birdie, gus and someother dudes.
I give it a rating of 6.5, 6.5 = kind good
Why? well just read above
What the level can inprove on:
Well the level can be more origanal, and mybe have some secert fighting zone with bad guys to kill (not the areana). I like killing badguys (particulary when there is a point to it like: to finish the level,or compleat a task,or just to blast to the end)
overall: the level is kinda good ( thats why it’s rated 6.5)
“no file found”
This level pack should’ve been named “Frustation”.
Best review I could muster.
LF- You’re supposed to push the crate off it’s ledge. And be warned- A simmilar trap happens again.
hey, i think this sound is very cool and it has a beat.!!!
so i give it an 6.
Why do you have 2 music files when there is only one level in the .zip file.
hmm now this is better :).
make it just a tad bit longer.
brillant vs tho.
i think its a bit boring tho.
well done this is better, good thing is this is not a ‘no’ download recomandation.bad thing is its not a download recomandation
keep trying this is a better song than last ones.
oh and if you upload to of the same types of files like thease music ones, put them in a music pack.
:( ok this is not a good remix,i can see little bits added onto it,the thing is all you have done is speeded it up,also put crirstmas bells on it.
Sorry but not a download reccomendation.
keep trying, don’t lose hope over low rateing reviews.

Hey, the greetings of Ischa and good luck with your further episodes.
Peter
Fearofdark, if you don’t mind, my lad, I will steal a bit of your reviewing system for this pack.
STORY-
Eh, not really described much ingame. The bits that are sometimes in bad english. Perhaps ask a fluent speaker to go over the text beforehand?
EXOTICUS:
This planet has some devent levels going on. While not exactly fresh, it was slightly challenging, and very fun to play. While I slightly dissapointed by the inside bits, this part of the pack was for the most part good.
INDUSTRIUS:
The first level in this was a blast to play, however the same cannot be said for the second. It seemed you were running low on design ideas, and used the Skyscraper idea twice. And the second time was EXTREMELY similar to the first, and they were extremely close together. Bad design choice. Also, Why can’t people make secret levels that actually fun like the ones in JJ1? Oh, and I enjoyed the false items. It was neat eyecandy feature, and I hope you use it in more of your levels :)
MUCKAMOK:
Once again, Stellar first (although not as stellar as other levels in this pack), lacking second. What was wrong with the Metal Muckamok remix? I see no reason why it couldn’t be used twice. Especially since I think the music choice tried to create too epic of a mood for the level. I know you want difficulty for a last level, but putting a player in a gauntlet of reflex tests isn’t the best way to do it. There’s stuff thats difficult, and then theres stuff thats frustrating. This is defiently the frustrating kind of stuff.
Also, whats up with recylcing the bottomless pits again? Was the idea for challenges that lacking?
Final score- 6.7
DR- yeah
Closing comments:
The final levels get way to repetive and derritive, and suck out most of the fun I was having on Exoticus.
I decided to review this in return for mixing this episode up with chandies.
EXOTICUS:
For both levels, the eyecandy was more detailed and made it feel more……exotic. There was origional gameplay like in every level only in this case, there were mini puzzles such as finding crates whilst being attacked by flying jazzes. The items were layed out OK but items in the walls show because layer 3 doesn’t cover much of the passage. The boss used is uterus which I think is an OK choice if you want a challenge.
RATING: 7.4
INDUSTRIUS:
Again, thanks to your tileset, it feels like more of a city except for the lack of animation. The challenge is the 2nd level where if you fall down, you must type JJK to go back to the beggining or a save point which is annoying. I also saw these unusal items from the tileset that don’t do anything which I think is also pointless. The boss in this level is a robot which is a step down from uterus. Maybe a tuf boss with regenerating bats.
RATING: 6.5 (I don’t rate bonus levels unless they are completely linked with the story)
MUCKAMO:
This was a dissapointment. Level 1 was OKish but the idea of ‘die when you fall’ is used again and so are the pointless items. Level 2 was obviously ment to be challenging. Jump across some gradually smaller platforms to end up in a machine. Also, level 2 was uglier and fustraiting.
RATING: 6.0
AVERAGE RATING: 6.5
BONUSSES:
MUSIC:
Larks remixes and a fairly good s3m file. And I just cant help not to give a bonus for my music file.
+0.2
TILESETS:
I like you’re tilesets and these are OK JJ1 conversions.
+0.1
BONUS: 0.3
FINAL RATING: 6.8
RANK: 6 OK
FINAL COMMENT:
I think this can stil be improved and so close to a download recommendation.
Remember to rate it. And now i found and you can even edit the last level. The Exoticus and Industrius remixes are not of Acid. They are of Labratkid. Sorry.
