If you reviewers could list the levels that need work, I may rerelease this pack at a later date with fixes and improvements.
Oh, and I forgot, but Derby also tested it. ;). Sorry Derby.
Oh yeah.. and Talec LP, too. Sorry! (I keep forgetting who tested it!)
-Edit: I have noticed several overlooked bugs.. most importantly that one of the warps in Puzzle of the Wierd does not advance the lap counter. I will release a patch soon… with a few fixes and improvements. This will not be a second release… I will make that later with improvements to all levels (and you might even get to see four more laps in “A Mess of Tubes” ;) – but that’s only if I get around to it.). Expect the patch in a week or so and the update in a few months.

This program is GREAT! It helps get you around the Home-Cooked limit, without using Windows Explorer or another browser program to click and drag programs. Possible enhancements: Play as Spaz, play levels in cache before moving them, also view levels in SF directory.
Ummm… I got an error in archive directory, and can’t unzip this. Arrgg…. it sounds cool. HELP!
It extracts in a different directory? I didn’t know that! How do I fix this? That must be annoying!
All I can say is WOW! First of all these tilesets are right up there with MEZ. There is incredible detail in them, and it appears that a good deal of effort was put into making them.
Next, this pack is overwhelming with 12 LEVELS! All of them unique and detailed. Tons of eye-candy, great level maps. All great.
However, the levels are a little too large for split-screen play. I recomend to play on the net. Oh and there is a little problem in the music looping, but I’m not sure if that’s your fault.
Anyway, if you don’t have this, download it! Let Blade’s Battle Pack be an example to us all!

Oh, and it was annoying d/ling all those files, when it turns out I have most of them….
Nice levels and all… but it took me like an hour to figure out where to start. For future reference, when making an episode, ALWAYS:
make it clear what is the first level, and have all the rest not appear in Home-cooked levs.
Begin each levels filename with an abreviation for the episode (example: AD….. .j2l). In my Race-Tournament Pack, all levs start with "RTP" then the name. This is important so that the levels are grouped together.
PS: I hope the first level was the colony one… because that is where I finally started.
Other than those issues, the levels are great! Real fun…. blablabla…
Sorry, AtomicFeline, but I didn’t love this lev too much. It was just average, a simple battle level. A little boring…. Not much to explore. Sorry…
Hmmm… As I remember, this was a great improvement over the previous levels.. Good Job!
However some of those puzzles were kinda annoying… but overall this is a great level pack! Congrats on mastering the Diamondus tiles, AtomicFeline!
Anyways download this and see for yourself… It is much better than the previous pack…. which is still quite good (for a beginner to JCS).
Wow… You put me in other authors… Well I did help a little, but don’t give me too much credit! Well, the pack certainly turned out a lot better than the beginning (what I saw). And not to brag, but I was probably part of the reason that the levels were improved… Anyways I’ll give it a seven (from what I remember). It is good for a first….
Very good pack… Nice and long. However, although it is nice to be able to choose it from the episode screen (How’d you do that?) It is kind of strange that the icon is exactly the same as homecooked levels. Anyway the level almost makes the town tileset look easy to use! It’s really not (as said above). I tryed once, and gave up!
Basically the levels are great, nice layout, great use of the town tilesets, yadda yadda yadda
Anyway, wb Martin! I hope you make more good levels like these!
Oh, And this is really an 8.5 rating.
I would recommend that the authors create a (longer?) sequel. Another, another story ;) That would be soooo cooool! Please?
I remember when I played this. It was THE BEST EPISODE I EVER PLAYED! Sure, it was a little short, but the storyline and challenges (like the one in the second level with the secret-passageway trees) are totally awesome! When I first d/led it, I wanted to just rave about it on the JMMB! (Well, I didn’t, but it is awesome) If you don’t have it, the DOWNLOAD IT NOW!!!!!
