I thought I would go insane if I saw another Diamondus level, but I will make an exception here. Eyecandy is superb, weapon placement is very good, and the overall feel of the level is good. There are a few graphics glitches, but nothing big. I would recommend a download.
This level is OK. The eyecandy has a few glitches, but overall it’s above average. I can’t call it a must-download, but it is “good enough.”
This is a very strong showing, especially for a first level. Nice job!

Very nice. The tileset is small but of high quality, much like the real game :)
I was surprised to see this upload as my top-rated review so I decided to re-review it. My original review of 9.7 was a little too much, so I lower this to an 8.5. This is a semi-simple little proggie that connects to the list servers and lets you see server information without actually joining the server in question – sort of. Whenever you join a server, the program joins instead quickly so it can grab information. I was glad to see that there is now an option to change your name. Just when I was hoping that I would be able to make it so the name and “joined the game” did not show up (this is possible with enough name tweaking, instead it just shows two blank lines), I realized that this program does not allow you to use ALT keys to insert symbols and didn’t allow copying and pasting, so any symbol that wasn’t on the keyboard was out of question – ouch. That was a major knock against it, since it is particurally annoying when I try to join a server only to find myself banned because someone with fast reflexes was able to ban the information bot before it could leave and exit (this typically takes less than a second, but in some lag bursts or periods of bugginess, the bot may even appear as a player on a map. There are sometimes contests to see who can kill the bot before it leaves.) Another gripe I had with this program was the way it handled connecting to servers that were pinging or had extremely high ping times. While it did have a well-appreciated ping out time, this took quite a long time in many cases, and the information it gathered on other servers was useless by that point. It will refuse to go on and look up information on other servers until it completes the information lookup on the current server, so it sometimes takes ages to see the information if there is even one server that is pinging or very heavily lagged. Sometimes, while looking up information on servers that were pinging, the program would hang indefinitely, usually until it was able to contact the server. Despite its many flaws, its usefulness far outweighs the few quirks I had with it. Its worth a download to anyone who plays Jazz 2 often and has always wanted to be able to tell information about what server they are joining. Download recommendation? Definitely.

It is good for a hand-drawn tileset, but is not very notable.
This level is crowded, but enjoyable. It is full of eyecandy, but that makes it even more crowded.
(Trafton AT: Bug fix rating improvement.)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
It really does not get any more simple than this. And that is a good thing. Respawn by Bobby aka Dizzy, or simply Respawn.exe, fixes the annoying non-respawning ammunition bug that can be caused many ways. The program is little more than an executable written in Visual Basic with one button that toggles the program on and off. If you are running a server, always enable Respawn. There really is no reason not to. Many players simply will not play duels when this program is not running. Just make sure that you disable Respawn before joining someone else’s server. If you do not, Respawn will continuously reset your weapon ammo amount to zero. This is not a huge bug, but it would have been nice if there was some sort of automatic disabling mechanism that disables the program when the person who is running it is not hosting. Even without this feature, Respawn.exe is an invaluable tool that no self-respecting server should be caught without.
+ PROS: Finally fixes that ever-annoying respawning bug.
- CONS: If you forget to disable it when you join someone else’s server, you will regret it.
VERDICT: Overall, I give this useful tool a rating of nine and a definite download recommendation. Simply a tool that everyone must have.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Spiffy, spiffy indeed. While another tileset (cough, cough) would have been better, this isn’t a bad mod for WinAmp. There’s not much to say about it. The drawing is O.K., but not excellent. It’s placed well. If you are a Jazz fan and use WinAmp, you should use this skin instead of the very plain-ish normal WinAmp skin. It’s not a must download, but it shows your commitment to being a Jazz 2 addict, anyway. I won’t rate this. If you’re a Jazz fan, download away. But this isn’t an Agama tileset, so don’t think it is. Because it isn’t. ;-P[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Haha. It appears that Electric ate a heck of a lot of sugar (or carrots, or both) and decided to paint himself dark green, eat a carrot, and videotape it. The end result is this video featuring a pretty good Jazz Jackrabbit imitation. He looped over the introduction screen sounds and Jazz’s voice perfectly, with a great lipsyncing job. Very nice, Electric. The craziness alone deserves a download recommendation. :P
(Disclaimer: I won’t rate this because of the type of download it is, but I must say that I wish I could. Electric must have worked pretty hard on this. ;P)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
I have been waiting an eternity for a program like this. Excellent job! However, I would like an alert when someone says something.
This is possibly the first level I have ever seen to include cabbages as a major part of gameplay, which at least deserves some notation. I suppose. Overall, this isn’t really a bad CTF level. Flow is OK, and navigation is pretty good. Eyecandy is also very nice. This level is generally good, but there are a few small problems, mostly tile glitches and a few annoying platforms that get in the way of gameplay, but these problems are typical of first CTF levels. For a first CTF level, this is very promising. Nice job. Worth a download recommendation.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
A 2.0 because this is really not very good at all. Try spending more time on making tilesets or you will get more of these sort of ratings.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Very nice, but I’m not sure this deserves a 9.7…
Very nice tileset. I like the very “unique” pallete and varied tileset. A recommended download.
This level is OK, but fell short of my expectations. Bees are easily my least favorite enemy. Also, I don’t like my Jazz 2 crashing whenever I finish a level. Inlcude a next level setting.
Nothing in this tileset is ripped. It’s a very nice level. I think that more levels should use this game mode.
An interesting idea, but various bugs make it annoying.
lol. “First level collection”…Interesting idea.
This level really needs to make use of the extra layers for eyecandy. It’s also quite small.
This level seems rushed. I’m sure you could make a great level if you worked on it for a longer period of time and didn’t hurry to finish it. Always test every aspect of your level before submitting it, too.
