Not to be pessemistic here, but I have a problem: THERE’S NO TILES!!! :-P All of them don’t, in fact. Possibly a version difference?
Thx for the reviews…
But those purple things aren’t worms. They were ment to be infected plants.
And I really made it with paint.
Wow, cool tileset..
The blocks are a bit simple but thats ok, cool beasts and, uhm…
I actually dont believe that you’ve made the background with paint..
Btw, why do you upload it in 1.23 when you havent made the tileset with 1.23.
Just d/l the 1.23 patch, install it, and compile your tilesets in 1.23-JCS.. it’s very simple…
Edit: Sorry for the short review :)[This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
Edit: Well done than, the backgound with paint, very good![This review has been edited by Piccolo aka SoulFire]
well this is a nice tileset good tileset backround good tiles
good worms
good work
i give a 7.2
Well, I must say that if this is your first CTF level, I’m impressed. This level has good quality design, and uses a good looking tileset, made by the creater himself.
Design isn’t that open, but it isn’t very crampty claustrofobic either. It features some well placed tunnels and platforms. Everything is pretty well aligned, and I haven’t been able to find any major gameplay bugs. Everything is very fluent, wich should result in fun and fast gameplay, and a fun game when hosted online.
Items, such as powerups have been placed in a good way. Well divided across the level, I’ve got no major complaints about the ammo placement.
Tileset use is just fine, but that was to be expected, because its the authors own set, and he should know how to use it, shouldn’t he? =P
I must say i really like this level, and may even host it in my server from time to time. I was undecided between a 7.7 and a 8.0. Dont ask me why. A VERY HIGH download recomendation.
(Yes, this is a question.)
It is probably for TSF..
And no, I haven’t came back to rate again, I just feel like answering a question. Sue me. =P
AHERM!!! I have but one burning question to ask: WHY ARE ALL YOUR SETS BLANK?! When I load the set in JCS, there’s nothing there but blankness… WHY ME? ACK!!! Runs off into distance, arms up. Smashes into tree (THWACK), falls over, nose falls off. Gets up, walk off, forgets nose, comes back picks nose up and super-glues it back on …I’m ok!!!!
(Yes, this is a question.)
Thx for the reviews…
Two things:
1: The colors: I iendeed used the 256 colors from Paint, cuz I don’t have anything else.:P
2: I didn’t steel any tile. I don’t know how to do that. I always draw EVERYTHING in my own tilesets.
first
good lvl
now the tileset
this tileset is nice
the backround good

Okay. First: Don’t upload it with name “New Tileset” but with its real name. Now I had to search in my 500 tilesets and that’s not that great :P
Review:
GRAPHICAL QUIALITY: 1,5/2,0
The tileset has nice graphics. Kinda Blade style (Look at desert etc.) but not a clone. Altough there aren’t much colors the quality is great.
FEATURES: 1,0/2,0
The tileset has the basic stuff for platforms, hurts, poles, vines, blocks, text, layer 6+7 and some caves tsuff but that’s it. There are no (dead) trees, animals, flowers or that kind of stuff.
VARIETY: 0,5/2,0
I dunno if I spelled variety good, but anyway. The tileset lacks of variety. I looked at the example level for the features and eyecandy etc. because the authors decription said the level shows how to use the set, and I think the level is pretty boring. Only one color, and a color for the blocks and spikes, and that’s it. Luckily the textured bg adds some color, otherwise I would have fell asleep while playing the level.
USER-FRIENDLY: 2,0/2,0
It may sound weird, but I think this set is very easy to use. That’s also the only advantage of a little set: You won’t have to search for every tile. I think it’s very easy to make a level with this, and you can build very fast. Great, waz.
COLORS: 0,7/2,0
It looks like you’ve just used the 256 colors from paint, and didnt optimize the palette. The shadowsides of the stuff is only one color, and that makes the set look like a first set. Altough I know it isn’t and the graphics are probably too good for a first set it’s weird.
Added 1,0 points because the lowest rating on J2O is 1,0.
OVERALL: 6,7/10
The tileset is bascially great. Because its name is just “WAZ04” I don’t know it’s theme so I can’t give extra points for the theme coming out good. That’s a bummer, next tileset should have a normal name. With a bit more tiles, better colors and more features this tileset would be very great.
Thx for the review.
But remember I’m NOT Wazz(with 2 z) but Waz(with only 1 z).
Yay! first one to review:)
Well its a nice set with some basic stuff like ropes, blocks and suckertubes but it is not very detailed and it needs some more eye candy, everything is a bit the same in this tileset. The computers are pretty nice (I like them cuz I thought you were wazz:-)
the lvl is nice and the text in it makes
it funny (but dont worry, I’m not rating the lvl;-).
I give this tileset a 7.5 [This review has been edited by BurningBULL]
Im sure I alrady once rated this pack.
But if noone reviews ore rates now Ill just do it again ;)
Well the levels are very great, really nice to battle in. Although there are hundreds of Death-Ends. They are everywhere I would fix them if I was you. And erm, well I especially liked the Snow level :) It looks very nice, Chemical Blah blah… is also a nice level. Well Done!
I don’t get it…
When I uploaded this, I’m sure I put it in 1.23…
I’ll try to re-upload it if there are any problems.
Nice levels, only a question: Did you made the Tilesets in MSPAINT? They look very nice.
