I keep trying to point out that there’s already been a conversion of this tileset, but what the hey. :D Here is the link to the first one I say, made by Onag and posted by.. well, me. :P
Technically, I only played Jazz1 all the way through once, but it was amazing. Tilesets from it are cool, but as I found in my attempts, not always the easest to use in a Jazz2 level. However, this is a good tileset.
Long live Jazz.
I’m not entirely seeing what difference this makes and I don’t play Jazz2, so why’d I download it? Oh well. Hi Beto. ;P
It wasn’t generally bad. :P The enemy placement was odd at times, but not unbearably. The weapon placement I really did not like. Powered up bouncies are fine in their own way, but you put too many bouncy ammos in. The seeker ammo was ok, though I didn’t use it really. The tileset useage was OK, though you didn’t have nearly enough eyecandy. Beyond that, good for being the first level I’ve ever seen by you.
Forget my stupidity, this works. :P My server rarely have respawning issues, but I definitel recommend this to those that have problems with that.

It is decent. I don’t often look at tilesets, unless someone recommend’s them, so you are lucky.. or not.
As Violet pointed out, some masking stuff. Maybe a few missing tiles. Still decent.
In the Level, I think the warp should led to a better powerup, but whatever. This is about the set, not the level.
Download. Yes.[This review has been edited by FoD]
Oh Geez, Trafton, you are such a perfectionist. :P
Well, yes, I tested this. :) But I really like it, for the most part, because it is it challenging, and that is rare in SP.
This was long awaited. DOWNLOAD IT NOW![This review has been edited by FoD]
Trafton mentioned that since it was so easy to just go up, no one would explore the rest of the level. That’s why I did that.
I like this, but mostly just the music. Violet’s battle with this tileset was also fun. :)
Weapon placement is good, I don’t see any tileset errors, good music. ;)
Host often? If you like the tileset/level, then yeah!
(Written after the re-upload was doanloaded)
Overall, I think this years pack is good. I have a few objections I’d like to share, though I’m not likely to be playing it.
It’s not so much that the levels I’m going to point out are bad, so I hope none of the authors think badly about it. :P I didn’t like the One where you jump from island to island and if you miss you fall to get warped. I also didn’t like Knighmare Castle due to it being so easy. It’s kind of like Stupid CTF, but no where near as fun (or as small). I also didn’t like JAIL being included. I like the level, and in the day I hosted it a ton, but I think it’s been a bit overplayed. :P
Other than those: Good picks.
It was an OK level. Having Jazz2 crash afterwards due to it not being linked properly really annoyed me, but otherwise.. :P I guess it is good in Single Player to have people almost die when they are playing it, but maybe I wasn’t paying much attention.
As usual with your levels, I had a pretty tough time finishing this one. Having played Claw, i expected some of the traps and also expected there be vine swinging (that was a toughie in Claw as well). I liked how similar it was to Claw (badies in the narrow slots where they are sometimes tough to kill, etc.) and think you used the tileset pretty well. I guess the good level makers never forget how. ;)
I’m not going to type nearly as much as everyone else, but I’ll review this as I saw it in online play yesterday.
My first comment was that Onag did something very similiar to this, but I liked it better. It wasn’t so obvious about where you were going (routes) and also had more routes to choose from. Also, I find tons of warps to be annoying and Onag’s used hidden tunnels. Sorry for comparing this, if you’ve never played Onag’s. :P
I think that also you need a better reward for collecting so many coins for the coin warp. When everyone else is also getting coins, it takes a while to get that many.
Overall, 4. I wouldn’t play/host it much.
I got it, though I know I won’t be at the bash.
I didn’t find this nearly as good as you all.
One, I believe these sets are much better used in Single Player, which I see you have also done.
Two, I would advise ANYONE against placing chat rooms in their levels.
Three, these levels just didn’t have a battlish feeling to them. Weapons out in plain sight is good, but I don’t feel that you placing enough of them. More powerups would have been nice too.. and not always where you can see them.
I only downloaded this to get the readme file. I already had the most recent version.
Overall, it is a farily good level. I do not think it is quite balanced to be playable with both Spaz and Jazz easily. I played it with both, and though I am not as good with Jazz, I came to that conclusion.
A very confusing level, I must admit. I definitely do not think it should be CTF, since you could take so many different paths and yet not know which is fastest and easiest and best to use. Definitely a battle level.
Mostly good. Probably the first level by defalcon that I ever played, and I am glad to have helped out in my own minor way.
