I’d like to say that I suggested that the tileset should be Swamps.

Sorry, I didn’t know there was already a Battle Game 1 remake with Agama’s Swamps of the Sleeping Jaguar.

So yeah, sorry stuff.

A good level, even if it is a little hard. But who cares? With a Diamondus tileset, he’s a genius.

It is a great honour to have the filenames branded with the FH tag.

Keep up the excellent work. Anyone who views these levels will know that they are not just a few more battle1 ripoffs.

Nice…

To start with the music, i like it.
I like the PU`s and that you swapped the copter for springs…it makes it easier!

As mentioned in other reviews: Maybe be more original with the tileset (that means: not stolen):( But hey! still great.

Like it.

I’m not gonna remake any of the other original levels. I only wanted to remake Battle1.
But, anyway, thanks for the reviews. :)

This is great. Eyecandey is great, no tilebugs whatsoever. Ammo is better placed and powerups are harder to get at. Also you have to pay to get a shield and you can pay more money for extra time which is great. Music is nice and I don’t care what you say this is a great remake. I much prefure this one than battle 1 original.

“If there is any way I can improve the level, let me know in the review.”

Don’t make remakes of original battle levels. That means, if you where ever thinking up making a remake up Battle 2,3, capture 1 etc, don’t. Also, don’t steal the ideas of other creators by changing the tileset, like you used in swamps, because it’s already been done before.

Make your own levels.

“Plz download and rate!”, well, here you are :)

To start with, I think this tileset is quite hard to use, since the masking isn’t the best and there isn’t much variation in it. When I walk through the level I can see you tried to use all tiles, which is definitely a good thing. Layer 8 is, as Fawful said, quite boring. Try to use layer 6/7 next time for some more exciting background-eyecandy.

About the event-placement. There are huge ammounts of RF’s and bouncies in this level, including the PU’s of those ammo-kinds. The shapes aren’t too original, try to change that in your next level, and some variation in ammo would’ve been nice (some toaster, gun 8 or even seeks). When I walked through the level for the first time, I didn’t even found the bouncy PU, which definitely isn’t a good thing. There is one central Full NRG and two +1 carrots, they are placed well enough and quite fair, I guess.

About the gameplay, well, this tileset definitely doesn’t improve it. I bumped into walls/ceilings a lot. I don’t like the one ways at the central right platform. The start positions are at weird places, quite close to the bases, which can cause annoying recapturing. The level is open and quite vertical, so the idea of putting bouncies and RF’s in this level is good, but perhaps a bit overdone as I said before.

Anyway, nice try and keep trying, since you definitely have some potential!

Again bored outa my mine. Full review.

This is supposed to be an intro level. An intro level explains the story, not the name! I mean come on! Why did you think this would be a good idea to upload! Did you think people seeing the name of the Episode will get them hyped for it? NO! You include this in a Episode pack, not by itself. Heck, the intro is so fast I can barley read the text. Also why did you include a Episode file? don’t include any of this unless the pack is done or uploaded! I can’t give it more then a one because this is a useless attempt at an intro and doesn’t belong my itself.

Yes, this in not a level pack. There’re an intro level in the pack and episode material. Thanks for the comments!

I hate this.
I hate, that newbies (not in bad way, just new levelmakers) upload lot of useless things.
It is also 100% no reason for making a episode file for this.
Don’t tkae this personally, but that intro was the worst I’ve ever seen, intros are for explaining teh story, not to tell the packs name.
Oh, and this even is not a pack!

…what n00b said. And if you’re making a level pack then you should actually finish the WHOLE pack before uploading, and you should also upload it all in one zip (or two, depending on the file size.) Not to sound harsh but it is inconvenient for the player to have to download all the levels separately.
