In one sentence – you made it.
So many of pocuses to make some good CTF game. So many good pocuses, but only pocuses. Still pocuses. Again pocuses. Always only pocuses. This is different. This is real. All elements are good or fantastics, almost no average. Almost. Like always, worst is ammo placement. I can’t imagine Snooz’s level with good ammo placement. And long time I will. If you want to make level with good ammo placement, say goodbye to pepper spray. It’s weapon for change it… Nobody is using it, it’s truly for nothing. I don’t know but I think I never will see Snooz’s good level in all ways. Other elements are okay, it’s big and it’s funny. And, like always, this level has briliant eyecandy. Snooz replaced bad ammo placement with super eyecandy. But this is more, more better than normally. I am recommending to download this level because it’s one from best (I liked some Winter level too), maybe the best Snooz’s level. Congratulations, Snooz.

This tileset is very nice, good eyecandy tiles good, WHAT SAY, THE BEST!
This tileset is the best tileset i saw, heaven and egypt are good, but this is higher then that all.
Its big, and not fast-made big, no the best biggest tileset ever!

Dranzer, it is not a “cover” or “remake” ot whatever you seem to think. I added some tiles to the original version, but the original tiles are still in there.

The textured background, to me, seemed a little out of place in the tileset. I made the black background to show how it really was a “reactor core.”

This, I like. Normally, I dislike single colour type tilesets, but at least this has some good eyecandy and a general theme, unlike many “colour” tilesets. Masking seems adequate. The set isn’t very original, but good.

I somehow like Flag Rat a little more than this level.

GAMEPLAY:

Another platform level. Well, this one doesn’t have too many platforms, so it’s not so bad. The flow and the balance are good enough—nothing unbearable. I know this isn’t the biggest thing, but I would appreciate if that huge area of golden pipe things at the far right of the level was cut down a bit; it doesn’t have be that wide. Anyway, this doesn’t offer anything new as for gameplay, but it does have a decent layout.

EYE CANDY:

This level looks better than the version I saw in the server. Granted it now looks more ordinary, it’s better than the older version with that textured background which looks bad in 8-bit. What I don’t like is the floating tiles in the background and the way the background tiles move relatively too each other—a bit annoying and distracting. I don’t like the way a lot of the sprite layer tiles look either, but at least they don’t get in the way of the gameplay.

CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:

The carrot placement is decent, except that maybe the +1 carrots should have been placed the same way for each side. I have no problems with the full energy carrot in the middle. Powerup placement is so-so. Perhaps three powerups instead of five would have been better. Ammo placement I can almost live with. The TNT and ice don’t serve much purpose here, though.

HOST THIS OFTEN?

I know I probably wouldn’t, sorry. 6.7’s my rating. And maybe the level shouldn’t loop to another level I possibly may not have. A warning would have been nice.

I dont review this time, i just gove you some tips :

Fix the block-bugs
Put Eyecandy
Make it a bit smaller
Make thE ammo placement better
Make it a CTF level, not Battle/CTF

I think it has avarage eyecandy, sometimes its confusion but its ok.
The size is good.

Yay, a tileset, and a good one.

This tileset is very nice, it has alot of animation stuff and its very big.
It also has a good eyecandy part.
And again, a tileset with easy tileset, so, its easy to use, just what i want, i like that!
It has good graphics part.
And to come back to that part, A very good animation and eyecandy Part! any thileset must be like as this!

Its a good tileset a must to anyone.

First of all, its a cover but wit permission, but, its not yours and that will never chance, but, i have ot say this one is a good conversion, not with very much extra’s but what new is good.
Its nice 3D worked.
I think its easy to use for anybody, simple tiles, i like that.
A good EX level will let see me anything!

First of all, yay for TOTAL FREAKS TILESET PRODUCTIONS.
Second…wow. A lot of tilesets :o. Though I don’t like that each tileset version always “focusses” on a single color like green or red, it’s sure cool to have all these version. The different versions are actually the same except for the colour, but that means that every single tileset has all necessary tiles BECAUSE ACTUALLY THE BASIC SET HAD THESE AND SINCE HE ONLY CHANGED THE COLOUR ALL DO.

Also the tileset has cool masks and a FUN readme. And Flash is a nice guy so he gets a 8!
No really. I don’t think I’d use the tileset since I find single colours a bit boring, but it’s sure nicely done, and that’s what counts :)

Okay I can see Acld’s styled tileset – I didn’t even have to read who did it to know the author after I looked on tileset. Acld I like your tilesets (Amazon ruins was good, I like this style , but I don’t think that your tilesets diserve a rating above 8.0 – (this is just my opinion)
This set is good and looks nice, alot of animations – which is good! I like animations! I can see that most things were done using paint but also you have used PSP (paintShopPro) I can see it when I am looking on this green plants.
I can’t understand one thing – why on earth you did the black background for this nice Background Stuff???? – There is Textured Background so there was no need to do this black.

Really nice tileset – Like Acld’s styled graphics.
Sorry for fast review but I am in hurry.

Tileset: Reactor Core

BACKGROUND LAYERS:
Good graphics! The backgrounds are nice and they have many good points.

SPRITE LAYER:
Excellent. More then enough good grpahics too use in your levels, and Acid included stuff like shoot blocks, and keys.

FOREGROUND LAYERS:
A lot of smooth detail and good graphics to use in the foreground layers.

ANIMATION:
Under in the tileset, Acid has made a lot of animating tiles which will make your levels a lot nicer.

Wow, this is much better then Flag Rat :D

-Gameplay is smooth and fun all the way. I have found alot of ways people can develope SKILL in this level!

-Eyecandy is very unusual for this tileset. Like Acid said, I have never seen such a texured backround mixed with weird yet fun and odd acid balls floating around!

-Placement is very nice, especially carrots and the full NRG. Everything is so fair for each team, and the NRG is something both teams will for sure struggle to earn.

-The layout was ok, and using metal and stone of the tileset, it did not get boring :P

I loved this level and it is very fun and hard to get bored of. This is more of a 3v3, 4vs4 or public 6-maybe 7 people.

Eye candy:
This level has very interesting eyecandy, such as a textured background that I didn’t even know you could make in Labrat levels! There are also some floating typical Labrat beakers, and some vertical pipes. The ground is varied (At least as much as you can vary it with Labrat) enough to make it not boring. Some cons about the eyecandy are that the ground is a little choppy in areas, (But I guess that’s to be expected in Labrat levels) and the conveyor belt looks strange, especially since it doesn’t do anything. Overall, my eyecandy score is 8.5.

Gameplay:
I thought this level was pretty fun, with a nice big area to play around in, and the ground not so cluttered that you couldn’t do anything. Springs were mostly placed well, although there were a few ones that were unneeded and a few others that propelled you into a wall. The bases are nicely balanced, I think both sides have a good chance. Overall gameplay score from me is 8.0.

Placement:
I think that there were sometimes too many weapons in this level. I guess I am a hoarder kind of guy, but I often found massive piles of ammo that nobody picked up. The carrots were placed excellently, though: a few placed in obscure locations did just the trick. Overall placement rating from me is 7.0.

Overall: 7.8
I enjoyed this level a lot, and hope to see more of your levels soon! I reccomend anyone who decided to read this to download this level.

But is it quite good? One could only wonder.

GAMEPLAY:

This level is big, though it’s incredibly open and there aren’t that many alternate routes considering its size. It’s also symmetrical, with ordinary gameplay—nothing special at all. The tube near each base is rather useless, except for helping the flow a bit, but some other method should have been used. The tube would be a little more useful if it was a smidgen faster. Speaking of the flow, it’s good enough; I’m not going to point out all of the microscopic details that could be improved. I dislike the layout of the bottom left and right corners. It feels as if I should be able to take a tube to a base, but I can’t. There’s basically one lousy route to each base. Argh.

EYE CANDY:

The tileset is mostly used well, but there are some flaws here and there. The eye candy is a little dull in places, but it’s mostly average.

CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:

Carrot placement is okay, but I would prefer if it wasn’t behind those tiles in the third layer. This level might be bigger than the previous ones, but the ammo distribution would work better in a smaller level. There should be some more ammo in a lot of places. Powerup placement is good enough as it is.

HOST THIS OFTEN?

I can’t say yes. Maybe once or twice if boredom strikes. Could be better, but it’s getting there. 7.0 is my final rating.
