Review of Crazy Aztec:

Introduction:Okay, a test level. I dont like about tests too much, but anyways this is 4 times better, than a normal test level were you just have to jump, use your specail skills , like copter ears, or something else like that, and i must admit that this one of the goodest skill testing levels here, eyecandy is bit strange sometimes though…

EYECANDY:Okay eyecandy here is pretty good, tiles were used right like those blocks and vines,there were some weird tileset use, especailly with those signs,but after all , eyecandy is good , goes with the tileset , no major complaiments.
Pros:good eyecandy, original.
Cons:weird tileset use…

GAMEPLAY:okay , i must say that there is no good gameplay in test levels thats why i usually hate them, but this level has second best gameplay (of test levels) what i have seen, but gameplay is ok…
Pros:okay gameplay sometimes.
Cons:not much gamepaly here..

CONCLUSION:This is good test level, maybe download recommedation, if you love tests.

Gameplay
The gameplay is not realy bad, only thing is a big thing, cuz of the eyecandy its very heated where you walk, its to easy to, i think.
You can choose to ways, the long way and the easy way, thats bad.

The only flaw with this tilest is the animation, but the environment is so exquisite, I don’t even care. I’ve never found such a great jungle tilest. Download this at once.

About: Many Levels, Many Tilesets, Many Enemies, Many Weapons.

Gameplay: Well. Not to hard and not to Easy. But: Fine. ->10
Eye-Candy: Sometimes there are bugs but its overall good. ->9
Difficult level special event placement:
Cant see it because levels has got passwords. Give the passwords to let me get a look in it. Mabye you get a higher rating.
Originality**: Not many. Each tileset jumps to another in the next level…- 5

Food: Very Good! I`fe got a sugar-rush 3 times in one of the levels. 10
Other goodies: Well 8
Senery and Things*: Nice placement. 7

Why its so low:
Give the paswords and let me look in the levels. Than i will increase them.

Ok, I know it’s bad! But I also know I’ll get this some day! If I training, I’ll get it, I know that! Training and again training, and I’ll get it! ;) I know I can! I also know why I got bad rating, it took just few minutes, to get high rating I should take a long long time! I’m always get better, I’ll get it one day, I know that! ;)

The levels are way to small aand a boring ammo placement, only good eycandy, a bad layout.

Time for a good review for a good level!

In the first time i see this, i think, 8.7 is to high, but when i play it in JJ2 i had only one thing to say : WOW!
This level has good eyecandy and good tileset use.
Good carrots place.
but maybe next time a bit more ammo.
But, this is long and fun to play.

Good levels, Bjarni =D The gameplay is a bit dull, but the backgrounds look very good. The ammo placement is original, too. Not neccasarilly something I’d ever host, but these are pretty nice. If you want a higher score, don’t make the level so linear. These levels take place on a lot of flat ground. Put platforms and stuff.
No download reccomendation.

Bjarni, you put too much eyecandy in Layer 4. Don’t put so much stuff, because it looks crowded. The backgrounds are nice.[This review has been edited by labratkid]

EYECANDY
Not good, not bad. It is just the standard layout for a Inferno level you need. All trees, spikes etcetera are used. No background eyecandy, though.

GAMEPLAY
This is nice. You have a little light, allowing you to see a little bit (duh). This makes it harder, more fun. There is only one Signpoint, no problem, because that will make it harder too. Perhaps it’s too linear, but there are secrets.

FUN
Fun! Not that fun if you want to play this level over and over but just the fun to download it. And that’s enough.

PLACEMENT
Gweat, but not all details. There are only Ravens and Demons (and a boss) what makes it a bit boring. But they’re always nice placed. Sadly, no ammo a less food is used.

SIZE
Big. But many parts aren’t used. It’s just filled in the normal 256×64 sizzzzee.ee..zzzz. Can bigger.

MUSIC
Not bad. The normal music used for Inferno. All right.

OVERALL

HEY! This is ya first level? You are really talented I think
That’s great for ya first
Here’s my review :D

GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay consists of shooting enemies and collecting some goodies and find the endboss. That’s not really new, but it made fun to play. I wasn’t in the bonus room because I didn’t find 20 coins ;)
At the end I came to the endboss. A bilsy O_o
That’s the hardest boss ever created for Jazz Creation Station and so I died as I tried to kill him :-)
Then I tried again and found out, that his flying shoots don’t hit you if you buttstomp ;-P and so I bet him =P.
Gameplay was not really new, but I had fun and the events were good used.
PROS: Makes fun, not too easy, not to small
CONS: Hmm….a bit boring because there’s nothing new.
Rating: 7.5

TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset the author used was the inferno one from epic. The tileset was used good, background and foreground looks like in the original inferno level from cliff bleszinski. The eyecandy was not amazing, but ok.
PROS: no tilebugs
CONS: not really interesting eyecandy
Rating: 7.0

WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
Hm….there was some freezer ammo and a blaster powerup at the end. Not really interesting but ok. I also remember items, like gems, food and carrots. The enemys the author used all fit with the tileset and were good placed. Nothing more to say I think ;-)
PROS: Good item/enemy placement
CONS: ammo isn’t too much interesting
Rating: 7.0

REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Hmm…..Maybe I’ll replay this sometimes, but not often. That’s because the fun factor lacks some time. And that’s because the level isn’t original.
PROS: hmm….ok fun factor
CONS: not original, no really replay factor
Rating: 4.0

OVERALL (not an average):
Overall this is great for ya first level, snotticus! It isn’t really original, but it is really hard to make an original level because there are so much levels now and there aren’t too much things that you can do with jcs that weren’t there before.
PROS: GOOD FOR A FIRST TRY!
CONS: not really original ;-(
