This is boring. And also include the titleset, I can’t open the first level. When I played it, you only have to shoot some enemies and then the level is over. And thats about 6 levels. It’s also to small, what is this, your first levels or something?

A nice battle level. Good eyecandy, cave stuff… nice gameplay.
All the diamonds in the ground are good, it gives a good feeling to me. :)
You can hop around this level not long enough, as it is a bit small, as the autor said.
So I don’t want to call it the “Grand” Diamondus level.
Good use of layer 3, that tree, a plant thing is standing behind it. It is not gets boring, because there are standing springs and stuff for speed.
A 7.5 and a download reccomend if you want to play a good and quick battle level.

And still another compacted contest level review:

Intergalactic Isometry

GAMEPLAY: Balanced. Good flow and layout.
EYE CANDY: Good. A little different.
CARROT PLACEMENT: I like it.
AMMO PLACEMENT: Alright.
HOST THIS OFTEN? Every now and then.

Overall review: This is definitely on of the better levels in my contest. It’s balanced and has nice flow. And best of all, it uses mostly slopes so it can make the weaker bouncers (compared to the RFs) slightly more useful. I don’t know about the ice in the level… Although it can be useful at times, like when you don’t have any powerups at hand, it makes me skeptical. There are 3 powerups total, and even though the ice is close to the base, there’s a powerup nearby, too. And all of the inclines may make it harder to use. Other than that (it’s nothing big anyway), it’s a good level and I liked it when I first saw it. A 7.7 is what I’ll rate this.

THEME: The theme, of course, is Pigs. Pigs pigs. Sadly, nothing BUT pigs. There is nothing but pink platforms with such piggy features as circles, eyes, snouts, and a tail (one of the best parts of the tileset). It does indeed feel like a pig tileset, and the example level shows it can be made into several pigs. But it is missing pig byproducts, and thus is nothing but a few pigs, and not a planet of the pig.
Pros: Theme is carried out very well.
Cons: There is not enough to really make an interesting level.
Rating: 3.2

GRAPHICS: The graphics are one of the worst parts of the tileset. It is, with a few exceptions, a solid light pink with a darker pink outline of two (I think) pixels. The background is a single blue color, and the eyes are just circles with dots. This shows that the author spent time on this, but not enough to make it at all textured, if pigs can have textures.
Pros: Few.
Cons: No textures, shading, etc.
Rating: 2.0

INVENTORY: Well, there are platforms, a background, and background eyecandy (a pig with a dubious wing). The author made no attempt to give the pig a second wing, sadly, or even make it animate, but I suppose that can’t be helped. Still, this tileset is missing a great number of things which I won’t even bother listing.
Pros: There is background eyecandy.
Cons: There is hardly anything.
Rating: 2.0

ORIGINALITY: Ok, it’s original. Unless you count the fact the entire idea comes from the legendary “Planet of the Pig”.
Pros: It is original.
Cons: Ok, so it’s original. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good. It needs MORE.
Rating: 1.7

COMPETITION: This tileset (unless you count FiShY for some odd reason) has NO competition. None. Nada. Zip. Which is a shame, because there’s nothing I can recommend to use instead.
(No pros given)
(No cons given)
(No rating given)

EASE OF USE: This is probably the tileset’s best feature. Everything looks very easy to use, and is logically placed, with the possible expection of some of the 1 tile wide/high platforms.
Pros: Good.
Cons: Few.
Rating: 5.0

MASKING: Oh, and um.. masking is good, too. Everything is understandably done and there are no real jagged edges. While the author did not have to spend much work here, he spent enough to make it work.
Pros: Good.
Cons: Few.
Rating: 4.7

OVERALL (not an average): This is an interesting tileset, but I can not really recommend it in it’s current state. There are a great number of things that could be added to this tileset, but I suppose we shall have to wait for the author to finish his “PSP 8” tileset. Unless (horrors of horrors) that was Townsville 2 Night. I’m rambling.
Pros: Interesting enough to make me give it a pointlessly long review, good masking, easy to use.
Cons: Not enough stuff by any means, poor graphics.

Well, this is a tileset. Which consists of pigs. Made for ElectroPiZZa. Shall I go on? Simply put, this really isn’t much of anything to crow about. In fact, it is not very good at all. The tileset is small, done in a rush, and looks like a fourth grader drew it. I know that Wisety did this very quickly in a short period of time, but still, I was expecting more. This really should not have been uploaded. Still, it’d be funny to see a level made out of it and that could happen some day. My rating is 3 and a download recommendation because, well, you don’t see this sort of tileset every day. Or ever for that matter. Just download it.

The only thing, of course, that this tileset is missing as ElectroPiZZa kindly informed me is bacon latters. I have to agree. There is a great lack of bacon within this tileset that severely undermines the overall quality of the piece. Regardless, this is possibly the best pig-themed tileset to come along within the past ten minutes that caused me to randomly insert bold HTML tags into the middle of my review. So, get out there and download it. The porkers are waiting. Or something like that.

Hey, YOU try and give this a senseful review. It is not as easy as it sounds.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]

Well, what do we have here? Another level by Wisety Face, it appears. And not a bad one to boot. The whole thing got off to a bad start, as the upload lacks a tileset (it uses Disguise’s own tileset, which he apparently considers common enough to not upload). Anyway, the tileset that this DOES use is “Space Warbase”. And the level uses it pretty well. Let’s go to the review.

TILESET/TILESET USE: Well, the tileset use is actually pretty good in general. The only problem I really have with it is that some parts of the level seem a bit blank. Most of the level is quite full, but just a few areas seem blank. Still, tileset use was good enough (after all, who better to use a tilest than the tileset maker?). I didn’t see any tileset errors at all, which is not that surprising, and everything that was there looked good.
Pros: Looks pretty nice.
Cons: A few empty sections.
Rating: 7.5

WEAPON/ITEM PLACEMENT: Item and weapon placement were both pretty well-done. Weapons were placed with lots of consideration in a way so that they are in places many people would go. There is also a seeker powerup in the middle. This level is well-banalanced and placement is well-done.
Pros: Nice placement.
Cons: None to mention.
Rating: 8.0

ORIGINALITY: If this level lacks one thing, it is probably originality. It is not that this level is really flawed in anyway or boring, it’s just that there is nothing to differentiate it from other levels. This is easily the level’s weakest area, but it isn’t bad.
Rating: 7.0

GAMEPLAY/DESIGN: Gameplay was definitely the strongesst point of this levels, namely flow. There are many different preset paths to take, and the level is dynamic. The flow is easily the best part of this level, in that one rarely has to turn around to get from base to base and can just run without hitting anything for quite a while. This is probably the best CTF level flow that I have seen in a while. Nicely done.
Pros: Great flow.
Cons: None to mention.
Rating: 8.5

REPLAY VALUE/FUN FACTOR: This level gets boring after a while, but not extremely quickly. It’s solid, but its lack of originality is disappointing.
Pros: Good level.
Cons: Not all that original.
Rating: 7.5

OVERALL (not an average): All things considered, this is quite a good level. There is nothing really all that disappointing about it. It’s solid and features a good flow and layout, though not an extremely original one. Flow, item placement, and the like is well-done and obviously showed thought. It was apparently rushed, and this shows some, in that there is not much eyecandy (especially surprising coming from an eyecandy master like Disguise). Still, its a solid play, though there are a few reasons why it probably lost BlurredD’s contest. Still, “Intergalactic Isometry” is a great play that I’m sure will be hosted quite extensively.
Pros: A solid level in every way…
Cons: …except possibly originality.
Rating: 7.7

Ok i will be lenient and give you a 3.7. It look like you gave this level a little bit of thought and planned but..

Likes-
A. Eyecandy- Nice but don’t over due! :p
B. Enemies- Nice selection, its good that you put right enemies with right tilesets!
C. Wepon placement- Nice but don’t use to much of one wepon you need to use diffrent types of good wepons not crappy ones BTW a power up can be usful here and there!
Dislikes-
A.Jazz vs Spaz- Not a very Jazz freindly level there are places i can get out with spaz but not Jazz.. There are even places i couln’t acess with spaz even!
B. Platforms- Some of your surfaces are like a stright of the same tile.. use more of diffrent tiles!

Now for the Overveiw

Game Play- Bad its just from left to right the whole level!

Diffuculty- Very simple.

And this Wraps it up! I give you a 3.7!

To be honest, The Warp Z0ne was better…

GAMEPLAY:

Not too different from that other level, just no warps. It is easier to get around, but it looks more dull than before. The worst thing in this version is the “secret” area with all of the food. It’s too easy to access, it’s annoying to go through (especially with the poles), and it’s not even needed. And better yet, the warp target is near some vines; if a player gets shot onto the vines, he/she will be stuck there. Also, it’s slightly harder to get into the bases. One tile wide paths are usually a bad idea to use.

EYE CANDY:

I suppose it’s better than before, but it’s still not that good. You might as well use a different tileset (and please don’t upload another version of this level again).

CARROT AND AMMO PLACEMENT:

Carrots in barrels? Carrots in barrels are the worst thing to use. Not only can a player hit the barrel so that several carrots appear, only works for the server can truly get them (other players can get 3 heart killed or whatnot). Ammo placement could be better, but at least the powerup placement is good.

HOST THIS OFTEN?

Less often than Battle3. I’m giving this a 4, and please make bigger levels.

The Edit: Another victim of the edit. A 3 sounds more suitable. Sorry.[This review has been edited by BlurredD]

Good! Ya have learned something new too, but many things are still “invisible” for ya. I mean that you have to practice, So here are some tips for making a level with good eyecandy and gameplay.

-do not use to the walls and everytime floors the same tile, so it doesn’t look boring.
-Everyone must know how to place a good background to the layer 8, but layer 5, 6 and 7 are not important. So, if you can’t use them enough well, don’t use them at all. Or then place nearous tiles.
-Put regular packs of food, gems and ammo to your level, except if the level is a special level, where you shalln’t put some or any of these.
-Put enemies on your level too. And of course, effects, like lightning or water.
-Savepoints and carrots. (but do not overuse them!)
-Spend time and make longer levels.
-Remember the animated tiles.
-Test, that can you complete the level or episode properly, before uploading. (I saw that there were several places where couldn’t get through.)

There were some good tips to your level, but I think that there weren’t all of the available tips. I don’t remember, but try to practice, Your levels are funnier to play, when you make good levels, and are an proffesional levelmaker. Good luck!

I don’t give rating because you’re my friend.

ok i guess i have to explain it… In the trigger zones switch on off to 1 and that will make the block dissapear. Set it around the block so it will dissapear as you come close. On the other side place the same trigger zone but set on off to 0. That will make it close. Have fun, and dont use the switch funtcion.

A pare of good levels you sure have a look at. Okay heres my review:

*Inferno Infiltration*-Fire.j2l

GAMEPLAY:

Some realy good points, nice new ideas, and it’s not get boring, and thats good. The secrets are very well hide! I almost can’t find them! Only the bad thing is that skeleton on a stick foreground layer, it’s irritating me! Next time, leave irritating stuff out. Only the enemys make it difficult, later on I tell more.

PROS: Some nice new ideas, good hidden secrets. (The secrets in my levels, you can find them easely, hahah. :) )
CONS: At some points you only have to walk strait on, shoot some enemys, go on the vine, and thats it. I know it’s difficult to prevent that stuff.
RATING: 7.5

EYECANDY:

Good, standard. Only the background is, well what shall I say? Ugly. Just flying stuff on the background without a thing standing under it. Look, layer 8 is fine, only layer 7, 6 and 5 are just floating in the sky! Nice idea, with that bones, it’s a sort of thunder format, look for yourself, it is funny.
Now I shall tell about the worst of the level: look at layer 2 in JCS. When you play the level you see where ever you go, a stupid skeleton head. It’s a nice idea, but it’s very irritating if a layer, a foreground layer keeps following you.

PROS: Nice layer 4 eyecandy, with the difficult to use “Inferno Night” titleset. Animating titles are okay, and the cave stuff, good work!
CONS: Layer 2 is irritating me and layer 7, 6, and 5 are just floating on air. That’s not very nice to see.
RATING: 5.0, I want to give it an 8 but the back and foreground layer are just ugly, I’m sorry to say…

ITEMS:

The only items I found was 1 up and some silver coins, and some ammo. In the bonus warp you can only find one Ice Power-up, I think it must be much more, put some food in it. In this level you can find this ammo: Bouncer ammo, a gun barrel, Seeker ammo and 3 way ammo gun 5. You need the carrots in the level very hard, because there are very much enemys.

PROS: The silver coins are nice spread over the level. And for people who like hard levels, there are many enemys in the level and less carrots!
CONS: The level was difficult because there are to less carrots. Also less food, less ammo. At one point there are almost no carrots when I need them, and at the other point I was overloded with carrots! I think thats and con.
RATING: 5.0

ENEMIES:

This is a very strange placement. In this level you can find: Bees, Bats(Okay I understand that), Dragon Flys(What are Dagon flys doing in a hell level?!), Lizards(You can place in alomst every level lizards…), Rapier(?), Doggy Dogs, Dragons(!), Norm Turtles( Hot isn’t it?), Monkeys( Now that is weird!), Bubba Boss, Fat Chick(!), it’s getting weider and weider! But I think so much different enemys adds fun! Almost the same enemies gets boring. But there are to many enemys and to less carrots, so I jumped over the most of them to prevent to get killed.

PROS: It adds fun if you use diffirent enemys, with a titleset were there don’t belong there, by the way, nice idea.
CONS: To many, put more carrots in it and then you can use that number of enemys in it.
RATING: 6.0-7.0, I can’t rate that good with enemys.

EASY, MEDIUM OR HARD?:

Well, as I sad before, that stuff on layer 2 is irritating me. And to many enemys and yet again: to less carrots. Hmm… round medium. And one more thing, don’t play this level on hard, otherwise I hope you like getting to be killed… :)

PROS: N/A
CONS: N/A

PLAY AGAIN?:

Okay, but not with that layer 2 on! I think it was on layer 4 nice eyecandy and nice gameplay. See yourself.

PROS: N/A
CONS: N/A

OVERALL:

I almost telled everything in this review about the level. Hmmm… a rating for this level.
RANTING: 7.5 will be enough I think.

*Heck Rolled Over*- Ice.j2l

AT SOME POINTS I WILL SAY LOOK < THEN YOU MUST LOOK AT THE LEVEL BEFORE, BECAUSE THIS LEVEL IS ALMOST THE SAME AS THE OTHER LEVEL.

GAMEPLAY:

LOOK <. Some new things has comming in. Snow, afcourse. :)

I will not rate all these levels, it will be the same with the other level.

EYECANDY:

Not again! LOOK < for more info.

ITEMS:

A new weapon, the toaster or weapon 6. LOOK <.

ENEMIES:

The Skeleton is new. LOOK <.

EASY, MEDIUM OR HARD?:

LOOK <.

PLAY AGAIN:

LOOK <.

OVERALL FOR BOTH LEVELS:

Some realy good levels, but you need to practise, make a good story. To bad you have putting on both levels that irritating layer 2 stuff. But you have dit it very well, it is difficult to make good eyecandy with the Inferno titleset. Nice new ideas, funny placement of enemys. Finally, a good creator with lots of fantasy! I don’t know wat the reviewers for me want to say, because now one has givin a rating and I think both levels are kind of cool. Hm? Well, that was my review, I hope I have said enough about the levels. I will give it an 7.2 and a download reccomend. These level are good, but you can play them a bit quick out. The levels are a bit sort of small. But I say it once: Don’t play these levels on hard! :)
