Woot wack wacka. Another JJ1 conversion by Violet. Always they are nice, so, why don’t this one?
This is only one of the best of Violet conversions. You get really the feeling that you are in a factory and wow there is a textured background.
There is many eyecandy, and you can use the buttons very nice, what Violet letyou see very cool in the Example level.
The tileset overal is just nice purple, with pipes ahem, fuel barrel and more of toxic anti-prolotifitiojilotion things. Nice work.
You know, the graphics are kinda good.
But the tileset really sux. You can’t make anything good with it(btw, next time you should press “remap palette colors” when making a tileset).
Once again, a great conversion of yours, Violet. I see you are first to make Dreempipes conversion, so I increase my rating by 0.2. Good work and keep on converting!
yay this sucks
whee argh
j/k ;p
Ninja, Hugela knows that, but Sal told him to make it 0, and I agreed. We weren’t expecting Hugela to upload it, or we might have given better advice. shrug
Anyway, onto the review.
The level isn’t bad for a first CTF level ever, and I like it in a weird sort of way. I don’t like the V-Poles, and the food DOES respawn a bit fast. Anyway, it’s sorta fun to play, but a little small. The music is quite good though, it’s from RPG Maker 2003.
Overall, I give this level a 5. It’s not bad, it’s not good, it’s definitely NOT a piece of frozen unicorn nose.. but it’s a fun level, nonetheless. It has lava lamps. ;p
a definate download
also i scored 290 points coz i missed 1 coin :( but u need to add music.
I like the platform lvl bit its cool :D make another game Et Go on why wont ya plz plz plz plz im begging
I think you should also make it so u can be spaz aswell or even Lori even though i hate her also my MMF doesnt work the characters i make keep falling though the ground.

PS.Make More stuff like this[This review has been edited by Wacky Spaz]
Tip:You can change the time of the generators in the box where it says “Wait”
A nice conversion. Pity it’s soo annoying to get the water to look right.
Also, I for some reason like the idea of using a jazz-savepoint sign thinge for a text sign, but I’m just weird.

Mmm,,, Thats richt.
Its not so good.
Umm, include the tileset.
I actuallly never rated a CTF level before, so here I go.
Let’s see the graphics are great. You should make more entrances that go from the surface to the cave. Take out the hooks and add something else to climb to the top.
Base placement could be improved a tad bit. I liked the food, and amount of weapons, and weapon placement. Although make some of the weapons should be hidden. Add more ammo, too many spikes so get rid of some.
In conclusion, a 5.5 seems good.
Well lets see here, a slightly good conversion. But you left out tons of tiles from the game. The stuff in the tileset is practically only for a background. So since this is unusable and the conversion was a success you get a 1.5
Ok first of all this is indeed a Treasure Hunt A edit. So you lose 8 points, second you edit the level without, make it single player and put no exit -1 point. Other than that, no weapons other than Ice powerup.
Next time make your OWN level, and put an exit if its SP.
Always an 8 for conversions.
Ok, let’s go
TILE AMOUNT: Just great!
10/10
TILE LINKING: Ok, because this is from JJ1 The paths and walls are otherwise well linked. I can give it only 8, because you just convert the right tiles.
8/10
ANIM TILES, SPIKES ETC.:Good? Yes!
8/10
REALIZATION: Looks very much JJ1 tileset. Well done.
9/10
EXAMPLE LEVEL: It was fun. Fun those water level buttons. Anyway there’s few places to get stuck, and few tile bugs.
9/10

download ? yea you should. ( for the tileset and the lvl )
host ? nah not the lvl, unless you want a short coop game.
the tileset, sure if you made a other lvl with it.
This level has changed a lot since I originally beta tested it, for better or for worse. I am not exactly sure. However, this level does just feel a tad unfinished. Still, it is an OK Capture the Flag level and not bad for a first CTF level. It just needs some polishing.
EYECANDY
Tileset Use: The tilset used in this level was “Lava Lamp” by Skulgh. It’s a good tileset. In this level, the tileset was used questionably in some areas. In a few places, the mountains did not look quite right. Also, the background looks a bit strange. It’s weird walking across spikes. Also, this level seems to suffer somewhat from blockiness – a lot of the used tiles are just blocks.
+ PROS: Does not look horrible.
- CONS: Blocky. Odd background.
VERDICT: 5.0
Creativity in Tileset Use: There is not much creativity in tileset use here. Frankly, there is very little to speak of. The background looks unusual, but that’s a bad thing in this case. There are some interesting window use, but there is not anything ultra-amazing there.
+ PROS: Nothing that looks awful.
- CONS: Nothing very interesting, for that matter.
VERIDCT: 5.0
Tile Errors: It is often hard to decide whether something is a tile error or is just questionable tile use. In this case, I will have to say that there are a lot of questionable tile uses. Other than that, I suppose this measure is alright.
+ PROS: Not a huge amount of obvious tile errors.
- CONS: Questionable tile use in many places.
RATING: 5.0
PLACEMENT OF STUFF
Carrots: There are a few carrots scattered around in the level. They are placed more or less OK, but they seem to be scattered in a fashion that did not have much thought put into it.
+ PROS: Placement was OK.
- CONS: Still seemed a bit random.
VERDICT: 6.0
Powerups: Powerups were generally scattered randomly in plain sight. Not very good.
PROS: N/A
CONS: N/A
VERDICT: 4.5
Basic Weapons: Basic weapon placement was not bad, actually. In fact, I thought it was rather well-done. There was a little bit of randomness to it, but not much. Well done.
EVERYTHING ELSE BECAUSE I AM LAZY: This level is pretty good for a first level. I do not think that there is much to entice players to host it a lot, but it’s still OK. It needs some polishing, but is generally not bad. Well done. My final rating is 5.2.[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
