Trigger zones do work in multiplayer, they’re just supposed to be used differently. :P
Anyway! This is a sucker tube system, the type that people figure out soon after learning how to use triggers. You fall into a pit, it closes behind you, the next person goes into the next pit, etc. Simple. Now, if you had figured out a way to prevent multiple people from going into the same pit, I would have been your slave for a brief period of time in gratitude.]
This system can be used in GROUND FORCE to determine when people fell out. Also in things such as Race, LRS, etc. The thing preventing this from getting a high rating is that.. well, it’s just simple.
Actually, I’m not sure this should be rated, so I won’t. Download this if you want to get Link’s “Blue Blocks” tileset, or can’t figure out how to do this already.
Sorry I sounded rude, but.. this is pretty simple.
Edit: Agh! Called it survivor.[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]
i helped bob make it. sort of. ;p
but, it’s a very good program. useful for people with horrible lag like me.
A very colorful tileset. I can’t say it’s a must-download, but it reminds me of Cheq 3 and Mezz01, so it’s nice to have around.
No. That’s probably Pier 1. I wouldn’t name a level after a store.
This is not my FIRST battle level it’s the first wich i submit to J2O I’ve posted one before to Jazz2 City (Carrotus Winter Battle) So it’s my second !!!
Very nice lvl. It’s got some great special effects and other neat stuff although I would’ve prefered some SCEs and more eyecandy. It’s also a bit “easy” to survive plus it’s too easy to get into the server room.
But still, great job Backslash. I’m gonna host this many times. An 7.7.
Cheers,
White Rabbit.
This is a worthwhile new capture level despite its simplicity and lack of perfectionism. Have a look:
The level feels small, but keeps a good size for itself. The capture bases are planted in the ground on opposite sides of the level (split by a long carrot) and easy to enter (through a hole) and exit, with a one-way tile area.
Lovely packaging eyecandy-wise is not in this level, but it isn’t ugly at all despite rough corners. The design isn’t elaborate, so it’s all right that the graphics aren’t either. However it looks nice, some carrots are sprouting out of the ground in front of your character, there are pumpkins, a waterfall, some weeds, a beet, and that sort of thing. Being set in the sky, apparently, makes this level look much more interesting.
Other things that make this level nice are the matching springs near the red/blue bases, “John wears pink footsies!!!”, and the use of the Easter song, instead of the normal Carrotus bg music.
Structure-wise you won’t be gliding and sliding through this level that easily, but nothing really gets in your way. It really is somewhat symmetric, but not very much so, and this works well. Either side has a replica base, and a different platform structuring underneath. Both sides of the carrot have a Toaster box, and a second unique ammunition to each side. Works just fine and probably will make for a fun online game.
The verdict is guilty: You should probably get this level and keep it for a good time. It is a fine new level with no real shortcomings.
However if you’re skeptical about the graphical quality or how interesting the level is, you might not want to play it. Find out though, since it’s such a small file.
If you want a new level and you’re not a stickler for maximum quality, go for it. Nothing takes away from this level even though it’s very simple, and this simplicity itself somehow makes it all right it’s Carrotus: it’s only boring if it’s always used in the same normal way, which this one isn’t. Pick this one up and keep it around![This review has been edited by rockyr]
Well actually a nice pack.
First level is very good. Good weapon placement. Though it was my first time playing it, I had no trouble finding my way.
Second level good. A bit hard to move within those tiles. But nevertheless a good level.
Third level is kinda disapointing having seen the previous ones. Weapon placement isn’t that good. A bit empty.
Actually a nice try.
Kinda Mezzy. And colorfull for sure.
It’s not really my style, but I think u did a good job here. I’ll rate it 7.
I would’ve givin’ this a 4.7, but since it’s your first battle, I’m givin’ a 5.2.
This level is boring, but I think you’re going the right way to make good stuff. You just need more experience. Try to improve the weapon placement, not to put a lot of weapons at the same place. In this level, some seekers and rf’s are placed like that. And try to avoid making big empty spaces.
A 5.2 for this.
Nice Level
only there one big thing everyone can go in the Control Room
and its Quite easy to Survive :P
but its a nice idea that you can see who is out and who still is in the lvl
Download Reccommedation
JAK, can you send Pleas the Tile set?
(I am not sure why you are rating this if you do not have the tileset. Rating removal. -Trafton)[This review has been edited by Trafton AT]
Good idea and work. I give a low rating ‘cuz it don’t have XP Support. Bleh~!

Well, basically, this is Space Invaders, only your character is Jazz looking up. While Jazz can look up in two directions, only one is used.
The other thing that relates this to Jazz is that in some of the levels, various Jazzish things are spelled out with the black blocks that annoyingly get in your way.
The apparently, only added detail is that there’s a powerup, which when gotten, gives you a few shots that go through everything. You can only have one shot in play at a time.
The things you have to defeat are little UFOs, not the ones Spaz shoots down, and I’d say everything else (other then Jazz) is from some other Space Invaders game, as well.
If you haven’t already got some other Space Invaders thing, you might as well download this.
A fairly good CTF level, it just needs some more eyecandy. Isn’t pier47 a
clothing store?
Actually, RSPSS, there are four colors, counting the transparent one.
One from best tileset. Why?
This is good like tileset.
It is very easy to use. Beginners download this must!!!
Professionals too. Good tileset.
Layer 7 includes, concrete, rocks, space… I say: Download this!!!
