It’s the best tileset I ever seen!!!!!!!
but I think the name of this tileset doesn’t fit because it isn’t really a heaven
I think a 10 is not to much for this lvl
(First we have praise. Then we have criticism. Then we give it a 10 anyway. Oh wait, the 10 is for the level, not the tileset. Eeh. ~Violet)[This review has been edited by Violet CLM]

No mate, this Agama-quality and it sure rocks![This review has been edited by $TÛNT$]
Hmm… Lesse, great sets, great example levels, great music — I sense a pattern :)
I give it 9.7 ‘cause I can’t do everything I want to with it, but then, I’ve never encountered a set that can. This is prolly one of the closest though :D

The master Agama’s first ten levels are professional’s work. The eye-candy is superb, but little exaggerated at times. The parallax tricks for example in the first level were cool and they were new ideas. The diffuculty level was just fine, but I think there wasn’t foods enough. I got 2 sugar rushes in 10 levels. The music is good mostly, but some of the tracks are little bit annoying.
Now you have proved that you can really use original JJ2 tilesets, You can show the tricks of your own awesome tilesets!
Are these levels really your first levels? Wow! My first level…I deleted it. The only remark is that I didn’t hear any music. But…You MUST DOWNLOAD THIS!

Very nice set. It’s quite orriginal compared to most of the sets that borrow tiles from JJ1, and it’s very orriginal.
Unfortunately, very few of the tiles are actually orriginal. The set includes tiles from or that closely mimic (JJ1):
~The glowing walls in tubelectric
~The tubes / pipes and waterfalls from Dreampipes,
~Most of the Crystal ground from Either that one level with the rocket rats, or Chrysallis
~A lot of metal stuff from Orbitus.
~Fans from Fanolith
~Other varies tiles somehow related to Jazz 1….
Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not saying the set is just another jazz 1 set. It’s a set that’s not easy to tell that it has any holds in JJ1 unless you’ve pplayed JJ1 alot and are familiar with the levels.
Very nice setup and tile editation allows for high detail abilities, and the set is not too dificult to make levels with (the crystal ground can be quite tricky)
Nice example level. It shows what can really be done with the set.
I think labrat music would work a lot better than the music included with the set (rocket.xm) which I found quite boring.
Overall, I give it a 8.
Why? IT has all the essential aspects needed for a quality Jazz 2 level, very nice looking. Nice aspects from JJ1.
However, It’s to much of a copy from JJ1 to get a higher rating than 8 (imo)
Good Job Agama! I look forward to seeing more from you.
Funk-o-rific Job Agama!
I was very suprised when I first opened up this set in JCS. Not only does it maintain the Cartooneyness that Jazz Jackrabbit demands, It also looks REALLY good.
It’s fairly easy to work with, but difficult enough to make level making enjoyable.
Pros:
- Very nicely done Cartoony aspect
- Enough variations in tiles to make a quality Level
- Fairly easy to work with
- Very original (although a few tiles are enhanced versions of JJ1 sets)
- Personal favorite
Cons:
- Strange layer 8 Background (the white is realy contrasted)
- Not many options for background and foreground layers except two different types of clouds
- Water (tileset blocks) is very ugly looking
But other than that, I think it is one of the best tilesets around =)
I think it easily earns 9.5
Nothing more to add, great tileset

Amazing colors and shaders. Well drawn tileset and the background.
The master Agama’s another tileset is soooo cool (is it a surprise?) that I almost falled from my chair. The tileset has once again lots of very usable stuff and eye candy. Agama really knows the tricks of the drawing programs. The only two things to complain. 1: The hardness of using. But the two great treasure hunt levels show the tricks quite nicely. 2: The night version is good but little bit too dark. Agama has found almost two nice music tracks. They fit in the levels just fine. Make more levels with your tilesets, Agama!
Agama, you could easily get a job as an artist in epic or anywhere!
I think that we have a new master here. Tileset called Heaven is the third masterpiece of Agama. The tileset is drawed pixel by pixel, and it looks amazing. The background clouds are smashing. But I wonder why Agama didn’t do his own warpbackground, Heaven has Carrottus’ w-background. Otherwise the tileset is so darn cool. Lots of eye candy. Agama has made too a nice single player example level what shows the using of the tileset.
Heaven is made by a professional tileset maker/drawer. It is in the same league where Mez’s tilesets are. And I have to confess that these tilesets are way better than mine.
Wow…
Not only do you manage to turn each of your sets into a true work of art, you do it at lightspeed as well. What is it? A new tileset every month, maybe?
As for this particular set…
this IS ancient egypt jazz-style (I love all the bunny murals and statues). I was planning to make an egypt set myself. I’m not so sure anymore…:D
The village is also very cool.
If I would have to think of one thing that could have been better (but this is really nitpicking) you could have made some more of the egyptian gods (not just Anubis lying down and the cat-god statue).
a well deserved 9.5. :)
Wow. This is Cliffy or Noogy quality at least.
Have you ever considered being an a computer artist or animator?
This is so amazing…
HOLY COW!!!
“Egypt” is another completely breathtaking tileset production from Prague. It comes in two versions (Night and Day) and both of them contain about 1000(one thousand!!!) incredibly beautiful, supposedly self-drawn tiles showing scenes from the oriental life! Reminds me, as a passionate platform freak, of Prince of Persia or Aladdin.
The set includes all kinds of useful tiles like vines, poles, keys, spikes, destruction scenery tiles, animations and so on and so on. It has lots of different structures for both, foreground and background layers…it’s too much to list here, really. Apart from that, the masking is very good, too.
The author also jampacked the ZiP file with two very cool Treasure Hunt levels that give a great impression of whats possible with this tileset. Level design (weapon placement etc.) and eyecandy are just brilliant. Really.
Agama also included two awesome music files in the pack: “Midnight in Arabia” by Mystical/Purple from Denmark (which was a multichannel compo entry at The Party 6 back in 1996) and ZARATHUSTRA by DRAX of MANIACS of NOISE. Very oldskool!!! Just my style! And the theme of both tracks fits perfectly for Agama’s levels and the whole tileset.
Well, i don’t have much to add here…if you ever had any interest in Jazz Jackrabbit 2, the computer game, you simply HAVE TO DOWNLOAD the “Egypt” tileset by Agama. Wow! Just WOW! It looks so darn cool!!!
it has a great background and the 2 levels were carefully done great level and tileset Agama
Great Tileset!
I really like the backrounds.
Download!
Words are not enough to describe what has been uploaded here.
The tilesets are great, the levels are great, the music is great…
The only drawback is the way jcs handles tilesets, it causes the tileset here to be a bit hard to use, as the tiles cannot be placed next to each other quite as they should be.
Agama, if you are reading this, then you should consider a feature in artwork/design, you have the talent to make it.
There is only one righteous rating for this….
Do you know what this is? Hyper TubelectricFanolint. =) It’s really high quality, plenty of tiles and eye candy, and lots of other stuffs. DOWNLOAD NOW!!!
