Use freezers on the spring and u can fall down through the secret passage way…
This is my favourite battle level that anyone (but me :P) has created.
Its layout it very impressive, it looks like a cool ship from the outside and the background makes it look likes it moving!
The eyecandy i cannot fault in any real way. Its totally amazing. You must have put a lot of work into this level.
Gameplay is great. However, for me its not something that could be like an official duel level or w/e.
(Just for what it’s worth, you seem to be describing the graphics in both Layout and Eyecandy. Layout usually deals more with the level’s mask. ~Violet)

Good good level…
The eyecandy and style of this level is amazing, you have put a lot of time into it and its great! The colours go0 together very well, the background layers suit the sprite layer and the music is techno, which suits the modern look of the level. For me, its perfect on the eyecandy part.
However, this levels gameplay, (tho good :)), isn’t great in my opinion. Its not characteristic in strategy and looks a little platformy. Other ppl may think the gameplay is better than ive said here; however, your lucky to actually get such a high rating from me with the type of level uve made :P im not a fan of these platformy levels, but ive got to hand it to you, WELDONE. If i can say anything now, try to make your levels have certain areas like in battle 1, instead of it look samey all over.

I agree with RoW_Odin314, it is a battle 2 remake, its not that bad but its not that great either.
The power up added i believe takes away from the gameplay as there is only one carrot on the level – hard to recover from a pu.
However I would recommend downloading it as an alternative to the overplayed battle 2 :D.
Very nice eye-candy, the tileset is pretty cool and the way the tileset has been used is also cool.
The structure of the level is what i’m most miffed about, I have seen so many levels that look like that its unbelievable. You may want to consider re-submitting this level as a CTF instead, this is not a taditional battle level – its not a battle level i would particulary enjoy playing on – tho its still a good level, I just disagree with the style.
Well chosen, ive not heard this before and it suits the levels kind of mood – old worn-out looking, erm i dunno.
Its an eye-appealing level and the items placed on the level are not in bad postions at all, but to be honest its really platformy and to me all these battles with many type “islands” all look the same to me
I would still recommend downloading this level, there has clearly been a lot of time spent on it.
I really like this level and if it wasn’t for the bit you can get stuck at in the bottom i would have given it an 8.
EYECANDY: The eyecandy is probably at a score of 8. Its a good and different looking tileset – also effects have been used like falling lava and stuff – it looks cool!
MUSIC: Well chosen, its though a little big in file size, however when you have all the files to play this level the music goes great with the whole theme.
GAMEPLAY: The gameplay i think scores a 7. It would score an 8 in my mind if that bleeding error was sorted – so sort it please! lol. The gameplay is good because the structure is tactical and the chosen power ups are ideal – bouncer and blaster; if for instance the level had the seeker power up – the players would just constantly use that and cover the place with seekers – it would be boring this way. The fastfires also go very well with the fact the blaster power up is in the level.
This level is original, eye-appealing, and fun to play on. Weldone.
To be honest i found this pack pretty pointless, not to be rude :P.
If your a new level creator, dont get bummed down by this and keep creating, but seriously, what you have done is not original, nearly every jazzjackrabbit 2 player has added to the 3 defalt levels.
What you actually added took away from the gameplay and the eyecandy of these 3 levels – battle 1 has some shields added – this just makes it silly because everyone will just have a shield and be indestructable all the time. You have also put fires in the walls (where they really dont look right).
The sections you added to battle 2 dont do anything other than crap the level up – by putting masses and masses of extra ammo available – which really makes the level look over the top and will damage the gameplay.
Battle 3 is hardly altered, you have changed the destructable blocks into flashing blocks and added some TNT ammo and stuff – it really doesn’t work and i don’t know why you wanted to remake these battle levels, surely everyone has done a similar sort of thing before – but realise, you need to make fresh levels and start looking into real detail about gameplay and eyecandy factors.
Seriously, when no one is submitting hardly anything anyway, how am I flooding with 4 levels in a row?

What a good level pack! Possibly the best ever created, though i still think there can be better single player level packs created, even though there were so many people working on this one.
Why is the rating high?
Because the eyecandy is brilliant, there are a lot of good tilesets in this pack and the layout of the temples and the storyline and how it gets progressively harder AND how theres such a variety of different challenges in it, including even puzzles – its very good.
Why is the rating not 10?
Some parts are impossible to do without losing a heart, and some times the gameplay can be a bit samey – plus there are too many secrets for my liking, and a whole bunch of them skip way too many challenges – that are really cool!

This certainly isn’t my type of level. I really wouldn’t find playing on this fun unless i was messing around in it – in my opinion this level should be inserted into the “other” category.
The eyecandy is not bad – as the tileset is very professional – however there are these really annoying fast moving things in one of the background layers – this for me would give me a headache whilst playing.
The gameplay is terrible, im not even sure why im giving it a “3”, there is no strategy whatsoever – partly because its so big, partly because the structure is really platformy and linear – its too orderly, way too orderly.
I think for this level you have to take it for what it is, you say its crappy because of boxes in the way stopping the flow, but that might be part of the design, it doesn’t stop the flow, it just makes monovering harder. I really dont think this level should get the rating its at. Clearly the eye-candy can be seen as really bad because the background is just black, the other layers arent used and the only real good part eye-candy wise about the level is the good tileset, but to rate the level eye-candy, I would seriously say its not good enough.
The gameplay i believe though can be viewed as quite original, its small and has little jagged islands to jump about on and fight apon. Really though i think this level should get like a 3 if it wasn’t for the tileset (a very good one that ive used myself) saving its arse a little, pulling the level up to a 4.
I have rated this level 5.7, this is because of the following:
There is nothing particulary wrong with it, hardly any tile bugs, the level has a decent structure and it looks alright, but really there is nothing about it that sets it appart from anything else.
The eyecandy I would say (seen as the level is so empty of it) deserves a 4.2, and the gameplay a 7.2 – the gameplay deserves this because the scenery is too spaced out in places (however still good in structure) and there is enough but not particulary the right ammo lying around – basically the level is pretty empty – but to end on a good note, its not bad its average, but really a good level maker could create this level in about 15 minutes (well possibly more just because its large).
I wouldn’t recommend downloading it, but then again it is worth playing on a few times, bah, you decide, im neutral.

The eyecandy deserves a 10 without question.
-it is very original looking and very colourful – this colourfulness matches the whole scene that it is a bunch of coral coves underwater, its flawless really.
The gameplay deserves a 9.
-it is very hard to get a 10 for gameplay, and i feel that the hard(ish) to find exit ruins the gameplay a little, as i spent 30 seconds looking for it but i only found it because i tripped into it – this could be quite annoying to someone less lucky.
However, the gameplay is still amazing in itself – the way badies are used in the level so that people can loose their gems from the water creatures (as well as their opponent) is an original factor that i really like. Also, the structure of the level is very good for a treasure hunt, the web of caves is set out very effectively.
All in all, the best treasure level ive ever seen and probably the best treasure level period.

Your level is not bad at all, don’t listen to the previous guy, although ive rated it a 6.5 i nearly put a 7.
Good points to the level:
The tileset is nice and detailed and appropriate,
The name “flooded valley” is quite effective and a good name for the level,
The structure of the sprite layer is quite strategically laid out,
I just love that bit on the left where you can fall all the way down the level,
All in all its just a nice level, however you can make some improvements, ofcourse :P.
Bad points to the level:
The background is quite bad, and this is probably the level’s worst quality – it is really half-arsed done lol, one of your background layers only has a width of 1 block! However, on this kind of level a simple background is quite ideal, though not as simple as you’ve made it.
The level is also a bit platformy and veering towards being a capture the flag level. You could benefit from closing off a few passage ways and making the level more one-way style, but not too much.
Some parts are quite hard to jump to, especially with Jazz, you may want to make the jumps less extreme, however your springs are placed in really good locations and this kind of makes up for this.
Weldone, this is a level that I wouldn’t mind having a few battles in with 5-16 people, however its not suited much for one on one basis.
The background is its worst asset and the structure of the level is probably its best asset, but however with the size of the level you have chosen and the tileset’s simple nature, you would find it hard to make a level under this specification that goes beyond a 7.5
