This kitten seems to have eaten a lot of candies and been transformed into a poptart.

The AngelScript usage in the cinematic intro here is pretty impressive. The threatening red text, the sprite manipulations, the ‘acting’ rabbits. All convincingly good stuff.

Although there isn’t a lot of finished gameplay in here (yet), being able to play as Devan briefly while you storm the castle felt powerful for the most part. Maybe his gun and fireball attack (while transformed) felt a little slow and I’m not sure if Spaz’s double jump fits him.

For an actual review this would need more gameplay, but for now my (imaginative) hat’s off to the effortful visuals that went into this. I recommend this to everyone even though seeing it obviously makes you prolong for more!

This intro really is pretty damn impressive. There’s only one bug in saldr5 where you can move (as your default character), but it doesn’t actually change anything.

I like how you presented the whole war thing between Devan’s minions and the rabbits, the atmosphere in general is simply brilliant.

I like the playable (tutorial?) level as well. Makes me wonder how levels with this gameplay style may look like.

I hope you finish this.

Very cool level! I played it many times that I can’t forget about this, the gameplay, eyecandy, custom flyboom objects and the vertical level were amazing!

10/10 HYPE HYPE HYPE!!!

I also know some cool music, because some of them are used i n other levels, while the others were used for the first time.

I also like the start of level, countdown themed, and some custom sounds were used in AngelScript code.

Boss battles were amazing, unfortunately there is a bug that prevents triggering final battle, it has to be fixed.

Enemies like ravens and laser sparks are so incredible, but the bug of bat enemy means taht I can’t see them. But the space fish are also cool and dangerous.

I know Why I can’t play this level, because there are lots of words private in AngelScript code, so I removed them and it works.

But the download is highly recommended! Keep up the good work!

This is a really great mutator! Nowadays people mostly play ctf/duels, tests or chat around. For the last one this is a really nice addition since many times the trivia end up in hilarious idiotic situations where people randomly guess the answer or fail on one letter.

Some ideas that could be added are:

- Create a sepparate “gamemode” out of this where you can see the question in your screen, the time remaining for the question, the amount of letters/hints and a highscore, etc. You can see this all in the chat now so this is basically a visual upgrade.

- Some option that allows more people to get points by answering the question right. For example, show the right answer and give points only after 5 people guess it correct or don’t show an answer when noone got it right. Points could be either equal or given according to who answered first, but it’s a bit more fair for those who can’t answer that quickly.

- A team mode where the team gains points (and perhaps it’s also possible to see your score within your team). So suckers like me won’t have to lose all the time x)

Again, this is a great mutator and I thank sal for making it ;)

Well, it took me a while, but I finally managed to win this level.

Indeed, it was quite an interesting experience and something that is entirely new for jazzjackrabbit 2. Also, this is one of the first single player releases since the newest version of JJ2 plus(involving scripting) has been introduced.
The main concept is basic enough but is exploited in different ways throughout the level. Players can also observe what a possible obsession with the raven enemy could lead to. However, to my mind, it would be best if there were some sort of story to explain the occurrencies, despite the fact that it was designed for cooperative mode. Of course there is nothing wrong with leaving the player to interpret the reason for things like the rabbit flying into space while encountering bats and fish or Devan Shell flying on Bolly’s aircraft and transforming himself into a giant raven, but giving the creator’s point of view is not a bad thing either.
Decorations could have been slightly better, although here we have an excellent example of changing background colours accompanied with synchronization of events and music – that was well done.
Gameplay was, as mentioned earlier, very original. What I specifically liked about it is the balanced difficulty which made up for there being no choice between difficulty levels(once again, because of coop). Some of the bosses could be defeated with numerous strategies depending on the decision whether it is reasonable to get hit or not – making those main enemies requiring constant movement to avoid harder to fight opponents.

Overall, this is highly reccomended to download and a very good release to begin the year.

I’m not questioning your scripting skills. The level looks outstanding despite the fact that the tileset is pretty blocky. But I’m here to rate the map, not the tileset.
No more further explanation, this level is mindblowing!
And for this, we thank you. (Or atleast I do!)

Download recommended.

Awesome! It’s good to see you are still making AS levels and this one is just incredible and original. The thing I found most frustrating is that I keep clicking out of the screen but I guess this is also a bit my fault. I’ve only played this SP and I’m looking forward to play with others ;)

Definitely one of the most interesting SP releases in the last couple of years. The time and effort taken to write the incredibly long script was worth it, as this level plays unlike anything that has been made up until now. Expect a certain frustration factor, however the overall experience is ultimately satisfying. Download highly recommended!

We have a way to shoot stuff in the direction of the mouse now?! I sure missed a lot..

I couldn’t play the level since I don’t have TSF, but I watched your playthrough, and it looks like a lot of fun to play in coop! I feel that personally I would get bored on the long parts of boss fights, but playing in coop would stop that from happening.

So this is best jj2 program in saving chat stats.Better than jj2chatlogg :O. So let’s what can do this program. I open http: Then i write something with those letters then i copy them to chatlogg. After all i open jj2,go to a server and talk! Other functions: You can copy some important words from Chatlogg to sallog. Such at a exaple: I copy from chatlogg (in some situations) when a player tricked a player and i must search his. I forgot him and i must tell to NC’s Boss (example) I need sallog for total copying. Is really great program. No text.10.0 Recommended!

After testing, it seems that this program does not work on TSF. Only on 1.23. Because hotels need the larger space that TSF allows, this is basically useless.
