A pretty simple little hotel level using the overused Mez01 set… All the text strings were written in CAPS, and there was no eye candy at all, the effect in the swimming pool was annoying, I admit.
Overall I can’t give a d/l recommendation to this, sorry. :-)
hmm, okay level for a first.. but zero eyecandy, only layers 4 and 8 were used.. the secret gold-coin room.. well yeah, i admit, i had to go edit the level to find it (norty me :D)..
anyways, prolly a nice little level for those of you with absolutely nothing to do and since i can’t test this out multiplayer, i won’t comment that the playability is sticky at best.. whoops.. ::grin:: Mew, u should’ve tried a single player level with puzzles.. add much more eyecandy though (go on, use those layers, don’t be shy), tone down the flickering, give the player space to breathe in and forget hotels… :D
l8rz.
BTW : this is my first ever rating.. i decided, 2night i’m gonna start rating levels.. and this just happened to be the newest upload.. heheh.. darn.. :)
Haha, use jjnowall. There are no single player start positions in the level so when you try test it in single player you will end up over there. The reason for this is that a single player start position can be for both red abd blue teams, and putting one in might have the wrong person respawn at the wrong place.
yes but you know the bit where u start, the boxed in bit? how do u get out of that?
Whoa! It’s nice, it’s open (i like that part), it has nice music, and the same ol’ comments :)
He. according to that one with the food, my mouth is always open :)
Anyways, don’t feel bad cuz it’s 5:41am and he’s not in bed yet, it’s a normal thing we do ;) Haha, sometimes during vacation i would fall asleep on this seat I am sitting on now (10am) and my friends would come here and find me working on the computer, seated perfectly, but with my eyes closed :)
Anyways, this lvl is awesome, the tileset is awesome, so why are you just standing here? GET IT!
Coolness, a nice level using the “7th Lava Fall” tileset.
The design is good, as is eye candy. It could’ve used more weapons though, in my opinion. The constant look gets kind of dull too.
The music fits very well. Great choice.
Overall you should d/l this NOW. :-)
THESE LEVELS ARE RATHER GOOD! MAYBE NEXT TIME U MAKE LEVELS, MAKE THEN A BIT LONGER!
kEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
not a bad level even though i dont like the tileset that much!
keep it up!
I think the level design and layout is very good, although i am not a huge fan of the tileset!
Well done!
not a bad level! although i do think the design is a bit same-ish throughout the level! The tileset choice is good for a spaceship sort of theme.!
Cheeze should fix that script someday. Geez..
Wow! Thats just what i’ve waited for since DethMan’s 7th Lava Fall tileset came out: a great battle level using this awesome set!
As always in south african levels, the design is very open, which makes it easy to navigate and pretty playable. The eyecandy is also very good, especially background layers.
And once again, Commander Dats made a great choice for the music. This tracked tune really rocks and fits to the atmosphere of the tileset and level perfectly.
My conclusion: "Bishka’s Warzone" definitely is A MUST DOWNLOAD, not only because its the first battle level that uses 7th Lava Fall. I was quite undecided between seven and eight points, but i think i’ll give very high seven points! Or low eight points? Hmmm…however i’m hosting a Bishka battle server right now…yay…
It’s better than the other one, but you can’t make much with it.
I don’t think a level could be made from this, but only because there isn’t enough detail.
The real game looks just like that. That’s why the tileset is just a bunch of grey blocks, but it’s very nice. I like Chip’s Challenge :)

is what i get if i wanna try and re-upload the thing.. oh well, if it’s not changed.. bangs his head against the table… ::grin:: i should go sleep.. there is a single mislaid tile which i fixed.. and i gave the 7th layer a downward speed of .4 instead of .2.. it gives a better feel of the motion.. let’s hope it uploaded it tho.. (chances are… slim?)

I’m with Aiko here…
You shouldn’t edit levels, it just shows the world how desperate ya are to get some respect for level quality.
The author states that “he found an old level” and edited it: well, actually its “abattle1.j2l” that comes with every TSF (as far as i know).
Of course, it doesn’t use a custom tileset as stated in the Level info above but my favourite tileset ever, which is called Town.
However, “MrPlonker”/“hac2k” and his friend (“Annihilator”/“Nimrod”) tried to make some changes, most of them on layer 4.
Although there are some fun ideas (the “dancing” crates) and some more significant edited places, i don’t like the weapon placement and the tile placement/design that much.
Maybe i’ll rate this someday. Rating would be lower than 4 points. Sorry.
Finally Quist fixed that bug I got so that I could rate this level :)
It’s a ice OPEN level, I love open levels. Eye candy is nice, all background layers were used, there is also a nice amount of layer 4 eye candy. Mez03 tileset=awesome (my favourite user-made tileset). I still think trancestruct is better though. Ah well, that’s my opinion. U still have those wacky comments which I seem to enjoy :)
On a personal note: Ryan was here on saturda and told em about “Crum Wars”. Haha, “X” seems a lot better, but not FUNNIER!! LOL!! As for those graphics, u know this lefty well enough evil grin and u don’t need to remind me about dark stuff :D
