I will try to be not too evil. But, in true, I hate Linkin Park. I like only Numb from them, and particulary Faint. Everything other has to be killed, by my opinion.

It’s hard to review this, some parts are good, some are bad, some are just mashed-up, some fits greatly to each other. But reason why to download could be great fitting of second Tubelectric theme with POA. And that rap (normally I HATE rap, but this is excellent) rulezZ in combination with that second theme…

Samples are bad, just as original, too metalish. Tempo is slower than in original, beats are okay.

In true, it’s original. Yes, that’s the right word. Original. JSZ Jazz did something like my ElekTronique Army, he combined his theme with Robert’s Allen Jazz theme. I was doing that more than month, and I guess he wasn’t doing it much less time. My tune was pretty… electronic, his tune has to be instrumental. With some beats. And with some metal.

I like it more than when JSZ Jazz sent it to me when he wanted to timmish his work. My style, how you apparentely know, is electronica, so you think I didn’t like it just cause of that I don’t like anything different, what’s hardly not true. I didn’t like it for its cacoharmony. Now, when I am listening it, I can hear harmony on 90 % of song, it means everywhere where is not that darn Metal Darn, what is big minus for you (from me). Without that Metal Darn was this tune dead, it’s cool how it makes it alive, but author could synthesize it with other samples.

Now, when I am listening it again, the main thing I don’t like is repetitivity and slow tempo. Repetitivity can be good, but with combination of this 1,5 × slower tempo than in original, it’s hardly annoing. That lead melody with those slow drumloops… truly, bad. This is semi-saved by good snares and hi-hats.

Sample choice, except hardly slow drumloops and unsynthesized metal guitar is okay, long strings sound well without any splitting of sample when repeating. Pianos are very good, background chords are just cool. Lead sample, like effects, is without any problem too.

Rating: 6.0 + 1.0 for originality, melodies greatly fit into each other.

Joseph Collins is cool man. His average rating sctrictness is -1.6 and his average rating is 4.1. His rating sctrictness would be much bigger if his rating wouldn’t count to all ratings. Just try to guess why everything what he rates has low rating.

I really like name on this level. Stupid. Because that says everything. I never saw any better, more saying name. Congratulations.
And I hardly DO recommend download, cause THIS is totally clear example how to DON’T do levels.

Let’s review it…

It has nice melody. That’s everything.

It uses one stupid piano sample, no rhythm. 43 seconds long. Maybe it could be good, at least listenable, if author used more than one sample, gave rhythm, etc. Now, it’s the worst tune at whole J2O, and that’s unfair. Cause that should be good, after big improvements.

What’s so cool on converting music to midi format? What’s better on MIDI than any module? Is there any fun on doing that? Or what is reason to do that?

Bass and lead could be better… Other is good, I like main background sample.

No, I don’t like it. I think they could be better. although it’s hard to make it good. Bad instrument choice… But there is no reason to do it. MIDI is dead. Why to do MIDIs when we can do modules by infinitely better sample choice?

Main sample is suxoring, some deformed flute, which destroys it at all. If there isn’t that main sample, it could be great, normally it could get over 9.

Nippius (5 / 10)
Snares are okay, main background sample too. But lead sample is awful. Quality of it is bad, and it dissapear to whole song. And at the end there plays some unfair sample.

Dreempipes (7 / 10)
Main background sample is good, snares, hihats, beats too, lead sample rulez. Good.

Orbitus (6 / 10)
Nice. Maybe quality of main sample could better.

Sluggion (3 / 10)
Lead sample sux, background sample and snares are good.

Strange resample. Resampled by very good sample. Yes… But really badly resampled. It doesn’t fit together, those original drums are totally aaww with this guitar. First 20 seconds of guitar playing could be beared, by after them, it’s impossible to listen. Still that same, still with that ruxoring hard guitar, Bum – bum – bum bum and nothing more. I don’t like it.

I like first 45 seconds. That’s not so much for 4 and half minute remix… After those 45 seconds comes detune. Total nightmare. Then, after 30 seconds it luckily ends. Good piano sample plays 30 seconds, then comes detune, again.

Main background sample is same as original, other (except piano) are bad. And detuned. Rhythm is okay, I like it.

I hate those bird samples. I hate that slow tempo.
