“Stunned” is a pretty good Jazz2 battle map. It is very fluently playable, has a appropiate, circular design (i esspecially like the tubes that connect the different “stages” of the level) and some neat eyecandy. The weapon placement makes sense and without any doubt it’s a great fun to play.
All you battle freaks SHOULD DOWNLOAD THiS ONE right now!
P.S.:
Annoying bug found! “Stunned” has a wrong next level setting (very, very bad idea, MR MAGOO!). Please correct and use the re-upload function![This review has been edited by Aiko]
I just CAN’T resist a Tubelectric level! :)
Well, Magoo did a pretty good job with this one. There’s nothing special to report (everything has already been said)…

well i like all most all of magoo’s lvl’s so this one is very good to
In answer to Magoo’s question: “Excellent,” maybe?
But truthfully, I would call it “Very Good.”
If you don’t count off for the yellow tiles not using the proper endings (very minor imho), then the eye candy cannot be griped at. There is a nicely hidden path to the seeker powerup and the two other powerups are logically located in the corners. Ammunition is a bit sparce (moreso for me, because pepper doesn’t even register in my mind as ammo [mostly since it can’t be powered up]), but it works. I like the way the tube entrances are done in slopes so that they are easy to access. The platforms are all nicely spaced.
Like Newspaz said, it does feel a bit flat, but of course that comes with the added virtue of being easy to tell what is going on.
As far as tips go, I would suggest going a bit further with eye candy than the scattered randomly variated blocks used. Patterns can look cooler than one would think, and tubelectric has plenty of neato things to construct gadgets with. Don’t be afraid to put in even more ammo than you’ve used, and you don’t need to cram it all in corners.
So overall: It’s a high-quality level without any real endearing traits. Not the kind which people are going to ask you to host just to play, but fun and good for a solid game of Jazz anytime. I’m looking forward to playing in more of your levels, MAGOO.

I think the level is really cool
Well, that’s what I think
Kewl level! =) But I think it’s a bit to flat.. Some extra animations could have done the trick to.
Its a fine battle.. but it misses something,
Well, my first reaction to Mr Magoo’s discription was that the level couldn’t be as good as he is arrogantly stating it is.
Then again, is it arrogance, or simply a statment of fact?
I’ll go for the statment of fact.
This level is exellent, fluent, fast, and fun.
The only problem I am aware of in this level is that it contains a pepper spray power-up. Pepper spray power-ups don’t have any effect on the game except to change the color of the ammo. It’s just another example of an unfinished event in the game.

its actually battle, i re-uploaded it
Use re-upload and edit info PLEASE. Fquist says it works and i’m sure it does :-)
Admins, DELETE this. Thanks :-)
Um, how is this ANY different from the original version?
If you wish to update your levels, simply RE-UPLOAD your level and PM the reviewers to re-rate it.
Blah. I wouldn’t rate this, i’v already rated v1.0
Not a bad level at all. I like the tileset+Design, and the eyecandy + Weapons selection is OK.[This review has been edited by Fl@$h aka BlewMeUp]
This REALLY is a nice level. It has a great platform design, and can be navigated easily (enough.) The carrots are not too hard to find, and on my server play, I did not find it hard to find other people. But on my next test, I found the power-ups to be too close together. I personally prefer to put the power-ups in a more out-of-the-way place.
The weapon/event placement is good, but not perfect. But with all the flaws, they do not detract from the design, and eye candy. Also, the ZIP was a easy one file, and does not put in tilesets or music that come with the game. (unlike some other levels that I have downloaded.) So, move your cursor up to the Download button BEFORE I EAT THIS KITTEN! ;)“Battle Out4” defintely reminds me of “Carrottus Squash”. Like in martin’s masterpiece, design and eyecandy are very good. The platformish level style makes it a great level for hardcore battle freaks and yes, it really allows fluent navigation. Unfortunately, this level uses one of the tilesets i dont like too much so that could make me substract some tenth points (sp?). Event placement is very good, as iCeD mentioned.
Overall, not as perfect as “Carrottus Squash” but REALLY WORTH THE 11 KB. You should DOWNLOAD before its too late (who knows? maybe we will all die or your harddisk will be full or…).
By the way: the author forgot to set a correct next level setting. Bad idea, as i have mentioned 1000 times before :-)
P.P.S.:
To all authors: Please, please add SP level start events. Makes testing way easier for us reviewers :-)
“Battle Out 4” is a nice level (btw, next time simply RE-UPLOAD your level when you want to fix it..) using the Carrotus tileset. It has a nice layout and great eye candy, and really makes good use of the (overused. ;-) Carrotus tileset. The weapon selection/rest of event placement was OK, but could have been easily improved. There are a few flaws in the design which can bring it down, such as powerups near each other and dead ends which hurt the fluency of gameplay. I also felt the need for just a few more powerups, but overall nice job.
Any Jazzer should direct his cursor to the DOWNLOAD link above. I recommend this.
