End playing: 28.1.04 – 20:35
Total playing time: 4 min -> Bad Size (-1.0)
Bugs:
-at start you are attacked by a Demon which you can’t see before (-0.2)
-Tube is too slow I think but that doesn’t matter (sorry, ‘cause I took points for that at first! Please read the part at the end sun fun dude)
-Guard is spelled wrong (gaurd) :-p (I won’t take points because that can happen to anyone)
Positive:
-good eyecandy (+0.5)
-light effects (+0.5)
-much animations (+0.2)
Total Rating: Default Rating – Demon “trap” – size + eyecandy + light effects + animations + effort = 5.9 rounded up to a 6

PS: I think 7.2 is too high for a short level like this.
[Edit]: Sorry, Dude, you are right. Well, I had a bad day when I rated and it’s a bit unfair, please don’t get mad on me for that. If I have a nice day I’m a nice guy (I think) –

2. PS: Keep on making the episode. Also I don’t rate levels low because I’m bad, more because I wanna show you what you do wrong ^^

Well, a remix of Technoir. I must say I really like the official Technoir music. But I don’t like this. Most of it sounds really out of place and freaky. Too freaky for me (and I hear much of freaky things). Sry, try again.
PROS: you can hear the official technoir melody (that’s rare in 2003)
CONS: too freaky for my opinion, too slow

Tileset not found
Lulu if you want to upload a level that uses a custom tileset include the tileset because not everyone has every tileset. Which tileset did you use?
After long time I will continue writing reviews…..but not a long one this time ;-P
Why not a long? Not because I don’t like Dx or this level. (I like Dx :-))
More because I am too dumb to finish this ;-p
Let’s begin…
Gameplay was good, but too hard. The level has food, gems, Very much enemies and a little little little bit (9x) of RF ammo. Too less. The level is VERY (VERY) HARD and I couldn’t finish it. There are some moving platforms and if you fall down you die. At first I thought this will be the CTF dying thingy but it isn’t. Dx, why does the safepoint before the boss not work??? Confusing
Eyecandy is the bad point of the level. I think only layer 4 is used. Oh, I forgot there is a little bit of layer 3. But nothing other. Bad
Item placement was okay, but there are too much enemies and too less ammo.
The level is hard, could be fun.
The level is too hard, could be dissapointing.
Overall very hard level. I think it gets a download reccomendation but ONLY for those who are searching a REALLY hard level.
TOTAL PLAYING TIME: 35 minutes, then I got mad and hit the esc key ;-P
Have fun and sorry because the review is a bit short this time. I won’t give a rating because I couldn’t finish it.
PHT
COOL TILESET!
The tileset is good drawn and not too hard to use. It has also textured bg (stolen from psych tileset by Nick Stadler ;P). There is also some stuff for layer 3 and 5. At the moment I can’t use it because I am working on my Forests Of Dreams episode but it’s really cool tileset. + Bonus for those blue “things” from Comander Keen 4 (I hated those as I played Commander Keen :]). I don’t feel like making the review much longer. All I have to say is: Well Done.
PROS: good drawn, stuff for layers 3 and 5, commander keen thingys.
CONS: like mentioned in chair’s review textured bg isn’t too easy for newbies (like me
;->)

EDIT: now I saw Traft’s rating and was shocked. OH MY GOD! I’M AN OVERRATER!!!
Then I looked again and….well, maybe 7.7 is really a bit too high. alltough I think 4.7 is a bit too low for this.
A 6.5 fits it for me
sry labrat.
PS: cause I don’t get mad on you you shouldn’t get mad on me ;-P

A remake?
Well, you shouldn’t make remakes of old levels, because most people hates when doing this.
Alltough, here’s my review
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
Gameplay was the same as in the official Battle1 from Cliff Bleszinski.
Only changed thing is RF powerup (not bubble shield) and some text events that says that this remake is remade by the remaker of remakeable things Dx.
PROS: RF pu instead of bubble shield
CONS: remake of old battle1 from Cliff Bleszinski
RATING: N/A
TILESET/TILESET USE:
Dx used the Thermal K tileset, a mixture of Carrotus and Darn Nation. The eyecandy is a bit better than in battle1, but not all that interesting (textured bg/foreground??). The tiles all fit together properly. Nothing more to say I think.
PROS: a bit better eyecandy than in the original battle1
CONS: no textured bg or foreground
RATING: 6.0
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
Like in official battle1, only RF powerup instead of bubble shield.
PROS: RF POWERUP
CONS: remake
RATING: N/A
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
replay is like in battle1 good, also fun factor but it isn’t made by Dx so no rating. Because it is a remake there isn’t any originality.

well, here’s my review
EXAMPLE LEVEL: Planet In Outerspace
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The example level isn’t really good I think
That’s because it is way too short. You are in a room, can go into a small sucker tube, collect some bouncers and hang on a vine.
That’s all you can do here. Snooz, make longer example levels and put in things like enemies, items and other things.
PROS: nothing great to mention
CONS: too small, no enemies/items used
RATING: 2.0
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset use was good, the level uses all tiles and the eyecandy was aczeptable. Also, I saw no tilebugs.
PROS: no bugs, aczeptable eyecandy, all tiles used
CONS: “only” aczeptable eyecandy, no foreground
RATING: 6.5
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
There was some regenerating bouncer ammo, that’s all. Items? Enemies? No one
PROS: nothing great to mention
CONS: no items/enemies
RATING: 2.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Doesn’t matter because it’s an example level
PROS: noone
CONS: noone

Sorry I made something with my left hand (don’t really know what). Alltough I can’t really use it or it will hurt. ;-(
Because of that I don’t feel like writing a long review for the tileset.
TILESET: Planet In Outerspace
The tileset is cool, alltough a bit small. The tiles fit together and there is a text. background. Bad point is that there isn’t much sprite layer eyecandy. Overall a good tileset, only too small and too less eyecandy things. For new level makers this tileset maybe has enough tiles. I feel like giving this a 6.2. So here you have it.

Cooba’s new episode. Hmm…what could I say? I don’t know ;p
Here’s My Review
LEVEL 1: Grilled Carrot
In the first level you find yourself trapped in fire, fire and nothing other than fire. You have to find the secret way to the earlong castle…
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay mainly consisted of puzzle elements, mostly finding crates.
There weren’t very much enemies, maybe they all got burned ;-P. The level isn’t very long, but has some medium difficulty puzzles. Also there are some things should be made better. At one place there are three stones and a spring crate. Cooba says the stones are only there for decoration. I thought you must do something with them and “rolled” (sry I don’t know an other word :->) them over the place where you have to go in (hope you know what I mean my english is bad) and I saw no way how to finish the puzzle. Luckily Cooba helped me out (thx). At the end there was another hard “layer finding” puzzle, that let me think on one at N.I.P. (Nothing In Particular Pack). Overall the gameplay was ok, alltough the level was way too short.
PROS: level consists of puzzles (not the same shoot enemies thing like in much other levels)
CONS: some of the puzzle elements were done before, too short level, too less enemies
RATING: 5.5
TILESET/TILESET USE:
Cooba used a mixture of Carrotus and Darn Nation, so he could make a burnin’ Carrotus. The eyecandy was a bit sparse, also the lava thingys all around are very confusing. I think the level could use more back and foreground eyecandy, especially layers 3 and 5.
PROS: no tilebugs
CONS: lava thingys all around, eyecandy was a bit sparse
RATING: 5.5
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
There wasn’t much ammo, but because this is more a puzzle oriented level, you won’t need more. The item placement was ok, alltough instead of cakes froots would be better. Enemie placement was ok, there weren’t much enemies, but like I said before, this is more a puzzle oriented level
PROS: enough ammo, ok enemie placement (for this level)
CONS: maybe too less action for some, little food
RATING: 7.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Hmm…replay value is ok, alltough there could be some more interesting puzzles than find the crate or find the layer hidden crate. Fun Factor is good for those who likes finding the crate puzzles, and bad for those who like shooting the enemies levels. I think a mixture of action would be a bit better, so both sorts of players (actionoriented and puzzleoriented players) would have fun on this level.
Originality is a bit better than in monkey lab. the puzzle at the end where you have to find the secret ways was done before in N.I.P. and Ddash2.
PROS: good fun factor for puzzle oriented players
CONS: bad fun factor for action oriented players
RATING: 5.5
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall this is an ok puzzle level, not more, not less. The puzzles could have been a bit more original and I think there is too less action :-B
PROS: ok puzzles, not the same shooting thingy as in many other levels
CONS: too short, too less action

LEVEL 2: Earlong Castle
I don’t feel like writing a long review for level 2, because my left hand hurts.
In level 2 you are in the Earlong castle. That’s very irritating because the player doesn’t know why he has to go into Earlong Castle. Story tells that Carrotus is burnin’ and you have to stop this but what do you want in the castle then?
Confusing
The level itself is a bit longer than the last and has a bit more action. There are sadly some bugs like at the end. Poor boss/spring placement. You go on a green spring and activate a Tuf. But the spring takes you to less high. That lets you use a live. Also there is a robot sticking in tje wall
!? There are several more bugs but I won’t list them here.
Eyecandy is more standard. Like in level 1 there are some blocks in layer 1 making the screen smaller. Why did you do this Cooba? I don’t know. Alltough the eyecandy is also very confusing because there is textured bg in the foreground. You can do better I think, Cooba.
Good thing was weapon placement. Not to less, also not too much. There were also some items that were good placed. After a place where you easily can get hurt mostly there is a carrot. Well done. Enemie placement was ok, alltough on some places a bit overdone.
The fun factor is pushed down by some surprise death thingys. DON’T DO THAT. It isn’t fun to see spikes and a bridge over it and then die because the bridge belongs to the background scenery. Originality? Hmm…..maybe a bit alltough the spike thingy (where you have to fly) was done before.
Overall the level isn’t really good. Eyecandy is bad (sorry) and the level is too short. Also a bad music is choosen (that one from Hocus Pocus). The level has also several bugs. Cooba, test your levels before you upload them, that means play through them yourself or let someone betatest.
FINAL RATING: 5.5
At the moment I stick in level 3 because there is a big bug. If you touched the water event and then die, the water stays and you can’t destroy
some blocks if you haven’t got TNT.
I won’t rate the other levels because my left hand isn’t very useable because in school I had my hand in a wrong position and now it hurts if I use it. My final rating is a 5.4 rounded of to a 5.2. Would be a 6.4 but because of that bug in level 3 I will take of -1 point ;-p
sorry no download reccomendation.

alltough an interesting idea
look at ya article Dx
I’ve written a little comment
Thx labrat maybe you’re right
But I think Trafton will remove ya rating because of personal attacks to Dx and Cooba =p
Amstel, a question: what’s wrong with eyecandy? look at the tileset and make it better than me if you think you can
PS: may trafton will delete the last part because a personal attack but that makes me sick, how could i do other eyecandy???
[This review has been edited by PHT]
Finally Dx made a new level. I’m happy that his PC works now, because he is one of the guys who review my levels
;->
Allthough this is a single level with Snooz’ new tileset. It’s in space and has no story, but anyways it’s fun to play. Seems that all of Dx’ levels contain that CTF dying thingy.
Well, here’s my review:
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay was a bit better than in Dx’ last levels, it has some original ideas and, finally, food and ammo.
The level was all around good designed, only a bit short. Also there is a totally new boss. It acts like a bolly, but is all around a really cool.
PROS: NEW BOSS, good food and ammo plcmnt
CONS: short, weird enemy placement sometimes (dogs in space?)
RATING: 7.0
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset Dx’ used was like mentioned before the new one from Snooz. It’s a good tileset I think, allthough the background is a bit irritating.
DX USE MORE THAN LAYERS 3, 4, 5 AND 8!!
The eyecandy wasn’t really great, but ok. I saw no tilebugs and all in all it’s akceptable (hope I spelled this word right)
PROS: no tilebugs, cool tileset
CONS: no use of layers 1, 2, 6 and 7, not really amazing eyecandy
RATING: 6.0
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
The weapon placement was good, alltough the RF’s aren’t really usable. Also this time the item placement was good.
A bit weard was the enemy placement.
What are dogs doing in space???
Also at the suckertubes you get “sucked” into enemies, that isn’t good. The boss was great, I think I know how Dx made this, but I won’t tell it to you ;p
PROS: great boss, good item placement
CONS: weird enemy placement
RATING: 8.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
The replay value is ok, I think. It mostly consists of the boss, that is really cool. Also the fun factor was ok, allthough the part with the CTF pits, where a bit hard and not so much fun. The originality gets a bit boost because of the boss and also the maze was new.
RATING: 6.0
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall this is an ok level, allthough it’s a bit short and the enemy placement/eyecandy isn’t very good.
I’m looking forward to ya pack DX. In ya new temple episode make longer levels than this.
PROS: COOL BOSS, good food/ammo placement
CONS: short, not really great eyecandy/enemie placement

Hmm…..well, a spaceship tileset…let’s begin with review:
EXAMPLE LEVEL 1: Starlit Spaceship
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay doesn’t matter too much, because this is an example level. Alltough the level shows all what you can do with the tileset like vines, hurts and destructable scenery. What I miss are enemies. There is only a bolly at the end, but what baddys could u use? Also there are no items or weapons so the level maker has to figure out what events he could use.
PROS: Good use of the standard tileset event thingys (:p)
CONS: no enemies (only endboss), no items
RATING: 7.0
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset use was good. I saw no tilebugs and all tiles were used. Bad thing is that there is no foreground.
Eyecandy was basic, but the tileset lacks on eyecandy tiles.
PROS: Good tileset use, no tilebugs
CONS: Bad eyecandy, nothing amazing

OVERALL (not an average):
Overall it’s an ok example level. It shows how the tiles can be used and it has all things like vines, hurts etc.

TILESET 1: Starlit Spaceship
Now the finally I’ll review the tileset rofl. The tileset itself has good tiles and some basic things tilesets should have like vines, spikes and such things like that. What I missed is back or foreground eyecandy tiles. There are some star for background but I think a textured background would be good. Also there are no foreground thingys. Also there are no eyecandy tiles for layer 4. Overall a good tileset, but a bit small
PROS: Good tiles

So that was my review. If you should keep making tilesets? Yes you should I think. At the moment your tileset really lacks of some things that it should have but you can only become better.

PS: I made a level with your tileset. It’s called “Lost In Space”. [This review has been edited by PHT]
Jungle Party? Well I don’t know if “Party” really fits
Well, here’s my review =p
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay isn’t too much original, you just jump around and shoot some monkeys. There are a few secrets but they are bad designed at all.
PROS: nothing great to mention
CONS: Boring, too short, bad secrets
RATING: 1.2
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset the author used was the jungle thingy from epic. I like that tileset but I don’t like the way the author used it. The background is bad and the foreground wasn’t used very good. Look at level ‘Thriller Gorilla’ and look how Mr Bleszinski made the thingy with the trees, Litenante. I also saw some minor tile bugs.
PROS: okay tileset use (+0.3)
CONS: bad eyecandy (-0.3), foreground layers are used wrong, doesn’t look like a jungle
RATING: 1.2
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
The weapon placement wasn’t bad, item placement was. What about coins or gems? Also there has to be MORE food. Man, you are in a jungle, right? The enemy placement was…hm…..okay. The author only used one enemy, the monkey. That’s bad. Good thing is that the monkeys are okay placed I think. Again a bad thing is that there is no easy/normal/hard setting. Set more food on easy mode and more baddys on hard!
PROS: okay enemy/ammo placement (+0.5)
CONS: no easy/normal/hard settings
(-0.2), too less items (-0.3)
RATING: 1.2
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
I don’t feel like replaying this, most because it’s too short and easy. There isn’t really fun and we can’t talk about originality. Bad
PROS: Nothing to mention
CONS: no replay value, no fun factor, no originality
RATING: 1.2
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall it’s (sorry) very bad. It has no eyecandy, isn’t original, too easy and don’t makes fun. Sorry, but this was bad. Practise much more before you upload a level. I will give +1.0 for effort.
PROS: okay ammo placement (+0.3)

Here I got some tips from Jazz2 Level Designer Cliff Bleszinksi. You can also read them in the JCS faq.
1. Look Out Below!
Never let people fall on enemies they can’t see below them.
2. Make ‘em Work!
Make people jump for items, or shoot crates. A little bit of effort should be required to collect stuff instead of just running through it.
3. ARGH!!!!
Set up cool situations where you get bounced all around and you can’t control where you’re going. This is both wacky and fun.
4. Let Them Live!
Never teach the player how to play by killing them. Always give the player a chance to figure things out without dying.
5. SHOOT THE BLOCKS!
Destroyable scenery is your friend. People seem to love shooting those exploadable cubes, and you can set
up great puzzles with ammo-based blocks.
6. What Do I Do?!?
Leave clues to most secrets. If you have a butt stomp gem secret put it between two decorative tiles so people just might try stomping there. Otherwise no-one will find you secrets!
7. Keep the Party Going!
For Party Mode levels, make sure and keep the level “circular”. That is, a player can easily zip around anywhere in the level without encountering any dead ends and having to backtrack.
8. USE VARIETY!
Alternate the scenery! Don’t keep the player entirely inside or outside, use a nice variety of all types of scenery in the tileset.
9. I Can’t See!
Dramatic lighting is great, but don’t leave the player in a dark area without a clue as to where to go. This is frustrating!
10. TEST YOUR LEVELS!
Playtest your levels, and have others playtest them! Sit someone down, have them play through your level, and don’t tell them anything. You’ll be surprised by the results.
Also look at the article “Creating singleplayer episodes” from Ninja Dodo.
So there’s nothing more I can do for you.

Edit NR1: Which error Labratkid? I had no problems to run this and the tileset is the standard jungle thingy, why should there be an error?[This review has been edited by PHT]
HEY! This is ya first level? You are really talented I think
That’s great for ya first
Here’s my review :D
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay consists of shooting enemies and collecting some goodies and find the endboss. That’s not really new, but it made fun to play. I wasn’t in the bonus room because I didn’t find 20 coins ;)
At the end I came to the endboss. A bilsy O_o
That’s the hardest boss ever created for Jazz Creation Station and so I died as I tried to kill him :-)
Then I tried again and found out, that his flying shoots don’t hit you if you buttstomp ;-P and so I bet him =P.
Gameplay was not really new, but I had fun and the events were good used.
PROS: Makes fun, not too easy, not to small
CONS: Hmm….a bit boring because there’s nothing new.
Rating: 7.5
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tileset the author used was the inferno one from epic. The tileset was used good, background and foreground looks like in the original inferno level from cliff bleszinski. The eyecandy was not amazing, but ok.
PROS: no tilebugs
CONS: not really interesting eyecandy
Rating: 7.0
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
Hm….there was some freezer ammo and a blaster powerup at the end. Not really interesting but ok. I also remember items, like gems, food and carrots. The enemys the author used all fit with the tileset and were good placed. Nothing more to say I think ;-)
PROS: Good item/enemy placement
CONS: ammo isn’t too much interesting
Rating: 7.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Hmm…..Maybe I’ll replay this sometimes, but not often. That’s because the fun factor lacks some time. And that’s because the level isn’t original.
PROS: hmm….ok fun factor
CONS: not original, no really replay factor
Rating: 4.0
OVERALL (not an average):
Overall this is great for ya first level, snotticus! It isn’t really original, but it is really hard to make an original level because there are so much levels now and there aren’t too much things that you can do with jcs that weren’t there before.
PROS: GOOD FOR A FIRST TRY!
CONS: not really original ;-(
FINAL RATING: 7.5
DOWNLOAD RECCOMENDATION: Yes
So because you are new and I am nice today I will change the rating into 8.5 ;-)
Have fun
PHT
I fixed the upload so
it should work now
thx labrat
Edit: @ Cooba: Ground Force is a game mode created by ET. It is normally hosted in Treasure Hunt Mode. The host hits a crate and warp into the control room. The other players have to morph to Spaz (if they would have Jazz’ helicopter ears it would be too easy) and then go into a wait room.
If the host thinks there are enough players he will hit another crate that frees him and the other players and let them fall into an arena consisting of most all destructable blocks. At the bottom there is a warp that leads to the ‘Looser Room’. So the goal is to shoot blocks and to be the last one to hit the warp.
You can’t shoot blocks if above is a big wall? I don’t know what you mean with that ;-P
Whatever, please do not rate my level 4.5 if you don’t know how to play it.
Also to martjin: Why do u rate this ten for no reason? I don’t think it’s a ten
Why do I upload it then? Because things that reseeve tens are things like sxr without any bugs or something like that.
Hope this helps

Edit NR2: Oh no, after Cooba’s review I wanted to know what he means with that shoot problem. I don’t know what’s the reason for this error, but you anyway can’t play with this.
I will ask Trafton to delete this.
Thx Cooba
Martjin you are fool ;-P

@ Cooba: yes u r right ;)
Maybe next time I will do better[This review has been edited by PHT]
WOAH! And I thought Hot As Well was hard…
Let’s begin with my review
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay was really new and original
I never saw something like this before.
There are 2 springs that automatically move left over lava. So you must jump on the springs over obstacles and shoot enemies. It was really hard because if you fall into the lava you will die.
Will continue later
Trigger at start didn’t work, so I wasn’t able to destroy the blocks. Dx, have you set the trigger id to 0?
Triggers with id 0 don’t work
Oh! I see what to do now, but I first have to play through this, then I’ll review
WOAH! This is soo HARD!!!!!
YAIH! I am medium reviewer ;-D
Sry let’s begin with my review
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
The gameplay is good I think, but has some bad points. Main Comment is that it is too hard. For example at the start where you search the crate to make some ground appear, if you enter the room with the crate, 3 rocks ‘attack’ you and you almost have to loose energy. (YAIH! I didn’t loose a life one time :-P). The idea with th bats flying out of the wall was annoying but good. At first I was confused because I thought shooting at the blocks at start haven’t got any effect so Dx made the trigger thingie wrong. Now I see you must shoot longer. Then there was a bug, but that exists because the tilesets masking, but that’s Skulg’s fault :-P. So, you can fly near the right wall (under the blocks) and stand on it, then look up and shoot and you can destroy the blocks without finding the crate and loosing energy because of the rocks. Dx had some good ideas like at one place you must buttstomp on a floating sucker and go to the next and don’t fall in the lava. That’s a good idea, but really hard and annoying. I think it is the hardest part of the hole level. As I fell in the Lava the first time I thought this must be the classical CTF death, but Dx made something make you gonna loose a life if you fall in the lava. I don’t know how he made this, but it’s cool. Bad point of this dying is that you loose lifes but no credits :-P
PROS: some new ideas
CONS: TOO HARD!!!!
Rating: 7.0
TILESET/TILESET USE:
The tilesez Dx used was “Where Bad Rabbits Go” I saw before in ‘The Demon Invasasion’ from moonblaze. I like this tileset a lot, also I like how Dx used the tileset. I saw no tilebugs and the eyecandy is good I think.
PROS: good eyecandy, cool tileset choosen, not the epic one for hell
CONS: The ‘lava falls’ in the background are a bit too slow I think
Rating: 8.5
WEAPON/ITEM/ENEMY PLACEMENT:
There wasn’t any ammo, only some bouncers that I couldn’t reach, because Jazz can’t jump high enough. Dx, MAKE AMMO IN YOUR LEVELS!!!!!!
Also I saw no items so far, ok there was I checkpoint (that I really liked) but what about coins or diamonds or things like that? The enemy place ment was ok I think, There were devils, some bats that attacks through walls and suckers/floating suckers. The floating suckers you must “use” to because you fall in lava if you don’t do :-P.
PROS: The checkpoint ;)
CONS: TOO LESS AMMO!!!, no items
Rating: 5.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Hmm….I think I will play this again sometimes, because I still hope I can finish this :-], the fun factor was ok, but it could be better if this were easier. The lava thing and the “Buttstomp the Sucker” parcour where original but HARD
PROS: Some original ideas, makes fun because it’s hard
CONS: It’s hard, that can be very confusing
Rating: 6.0
OVERALL:
IT WAS SOOOOOO HARD!!!!!! O_o
But as I played and tried to do this, I began to enjoy the hardness. I think this is a good level for a rainy evening when you are alone and don’t wanna think on the girl/boy you love that don’t loves you :-[ (like me today)
PROS: HARD
CONS: HARD
FINAL RATING: 7.5
DOWNLOAD RECCOMENDATION: If you feel like me today evening or search a HARD level than YES

Yaih! I have my TSF CD back. Now I can rate TSF levels ;)
Let’s begin with the review
GAMEPLAY/DESIGN:
Hmm…..Gameplay was good, I wished it were a bit harder but it was ok…
There were some original ideas and the level has a good size I think. Also that freezing enemies event that freeze Jazz and not his enemys ;-P was used. But there are still some comments…
At the first time I played I got stuck on 15,28
Then the level is unfair to players who don’t use Spaz, because they must shoot the generator before they can get up. And the generator is in the wall so it’s hard to hit it. Then there should be a reward morph after the springs so not all the players have to play with spaz. Ammo was a bit sparse, only a little bit Freezer ammo, that’s all
Overall the gameplay was ok.
PROS: Some original ideas, good size
CONS: spaz biased, too easy, too less ammo
Rating: 7.5
TILESET/TILESET USE:
Dx used a tileset from Waz that I didn’t saw before. It looks a little bit like Mez03 but it is ok. There wasn’t any tilebug, if you see one your eyes are better than mines ;)
The eyecandy wasn’t amazing, but it was ok. Now Dx put in a background (and not only layer 5)
That was good, DX but now there isn’t any foreground ;-p
PROS: No tilebugs, background
CONS: No foreground, not amazing eyecandy
Rating: 7.5
WEAPON/ITEM PLACEMENT:
There wasn’t much ammo, only some freezers but too less of them. TNT also makes really much fun in race levels, dx. I saw no items, but I don’t know what items you could set in race, so it is ok.
PROS: little bit of freezer ammo
CONS: Too less ammo, no tnts
Rating: 5.0
REPLAY/FUN FACTOR/ORIGINALITY:
Hmm….I think I will play this again with my friend, but there wasn’t too much fun. I think that’s because it is too easy. There were some original ideas like that ‘animating walls’ or what this should look like or those freezing things.
PROS: Some original ideas
CONS: too easy, not too much fun
Rating: 5.0
OVERALL:
It was good, not the best race level ever but ok. There wasn’t too much fun, but the eyecandy can be seen and Dx had some original ideas. Bad thing is that its spaz biased.
PROS: Big, some original ideas
CONS: too less ammo, not too much fun
FINAL RATING: 6.0
DOWNLOAD RECCOMENDATION: Sorry, only if you search a big, not too hard race level
