Dx- I have to tell ya that this time you did really good job on this level!!!
The only big minus about it is that you used the OVERUSED TILESET – that makes me ANGRY!!!

But forget about it, the level is very nice, you used all the layers, gameplay here is good, it’s not boring also you put in lvl interesting trigs like this when I crashed the trig crate from wall on my left fell a spring crate – that is nice.

I don’t have time to write a long review but I am, giving to you a 8.7

Good job Dx – keep working and do more levels because every single level is better and better you are improving your work and I’m happy :)

That is all I found , nice work Labratkidm I think that this one is better then Cell’s conversion of Stonar.

I found one bug so far – In columns on a bottom there is a palette error – the black color is invisible!
Colors are right (not like in Cell’s conversion)
Masking is good – didn’t found any mask bug.

That is too bad that you didn’t do any example level (I like to review from examples levels), and I don’t really like when you are leaving an empty space under the tiles – It just don’t look very nice.

Always try to add extra things.
Is 8.0 from me. :)
That might be changed if I will found any other bugs.

Well..I like conversions, and I know that sometimes is hard to do one especially when you have to do a screenshot during a game to get a single tile – you have to be brave for this kind of work.

I can see that you included all the tiles from the Classsic Mario game, I can also see that everything is located logically in your set and for that I will give you a rating 9,0

Bit now I will also say that this conversion is big and great for Mario fans, but it doesn’t fit to jj2!!!
You give to us a tileset with old graphics where are BIG pixels which looks VERY UGLY during a game!!!

This tileset is boring, doesn’t have good colors and it looks ugly during the game (because of BIG pixels and NOT interesting graphics) for this I am giving 5.4

Assuming all this I’m giving you a 7.2
Sorry for this rating but it is not because I don;t like your work -Ithink you did really great job on it – but it isn’t possible to have a good tileset from stuff like that.

I suggest you to put on that lowest parts of level some spikes or secret passages.

The level is short and kind of boring, there are only demons as enemies and there are no goodies or ammo or food.

You didn’t use tileset corectly, on the corners and on end of platforms there are no tiles finishing softly this sides.
OK. Because you have improved your level a bit I will give ya 4.7

Try to spend more time working on your levels and be careful and always use right tilesets, and next time download some tilesets from this site which have a high rating and try to use theme – I suggest to choose some Disguise’s tileset which have a rating at least 8 – his tilesets are great and really easy to use :)

Try to do as I said and I will be happy :)

I will not give a download recomendation.

Oh. I forgot to say that this time you used correctly a background layers.

Well…It looks like your first level.
my 1st impression about this level was that I thought that this is somebody’s 1st level.

Background isn’t used correctly – that looks REALLY BAD!!! I can’t accept when people are using incorrectly such a simple to use tiles!!!

When I fall down (ofcourse on purpose to see what is placed there) I got stuck because there is nothing!!!!
In this place should be located some spikes or warp or maybe some secret passage full of goodies and food or whatever but not an empty space!!

Level is very short, level isn’t so bad – there are places located logically and even some parts of this level are nice.

Gameplay is a bit better then bad, there are no food or goodies , some places are empty and only somewhere are putted enemies.

You did lots of mistakes in your level, there are almost no eyecandy :(

It would be a 4.0 but because you used vulgar word I will give you 3.7

Come on guys and let’s not use vulgar words in here because very young children might be here and might downloading this stuff :)

I noticed many other bugs in this lvl from 3.7 -3.2

This episode is really good, well it’s one of the best, there are 25 lvls but some of theme are really short.
EYECANDY: Wow! Every level has lots of eyecandy in it.(like said Snooz)Very nice putted stuff, I liked some levels where eyecandy were confusing me all the time – it makes level much more interesting.
I didn’t really like the Underground tileset , but now where I saw this really interesting level which were using this tileset I was amazed that this is really this tileset, after a while I started to like this tileset -(thanks to this nice level)

TILESET USE:
One word : GREAT

great use of tilesets -well maybe I didn’t like the backgrounds of some levels for example the one which uses Medivo tileset, the background there is kind of odd.

GAMEPLAY:Yes, I think this is the best think about this episode pack. I really enjoyed playing this (Iwasn’t bored – and usually I am when I am playing other levels)

Placement:Good, lot’s of enemies not too much carrots -at least in medium version.

Total it will be 8.8 (I don’t show my calculations and the rating for each point but for TILESET USE would be 9.5)

And I liked very much that this pack is using lots of custom tilesets so I will add .2 points so it gives 9.

I won’t rate it because I didn’t really looked good on this tileset.
First of all I will say that your tileset isn’t really bad as your first tileset. He.. it’s really simple, it was made in Paint for sure.
Don’t worry do more tilesets (but the good ones!) -I was drawing tilesets like this on my begining too.

One more thing:
I HATE WHEN PEOPLE ARE GIVING PASSWORD FOR THEIR EXAMPLE LEVEL!!!!!!!!!

I like to review a tileset from ex level when I am looking in JCS at it, and I can run it from JCS and I don’t have to look for it in my home cooked levels which is full of junk!

This is something what I was looking for. Few months ago when I did’t know this site I was wondering if it’s possible to get JCS for JJ1.
Now I know that it’s possible and everything works.

Only I would like to see the animationn blocks in this JCS – I would be very happpy!

Oh and as aconvertor of jj1 tileset I think that this is one of the most useful things on j2o site. Doing the convertions JCS94 is helping me a LOT.

Really nice job and I couldn’t rate it any way because I think that this is not a correct way to rate this wonderful programm, I only would give off points because there are some bugs (well.. not exactelly bugs)

Yes this is the really good episode (the mez level is really confusing) Everything is originally designed, but I’m going to take off points (HA HA)

Well as this is the multiple I will take of points for that tileset which is used in intro-it’s not the best because the sky doesn’t fit togeather (this is clearly visible) and graphics have a lot of transparent area.

I found some bugs in the levels during the game but there was a small amount of bugs and they aren’t so horrible :)

The levels you have made are almost perfect (in some parts) and I like it!
I like where everythink (in tilesets o levels ofcourse) is perfect.
So because not everythink is perfect and the intro tileset is scaring me I’ll give you a 9.0 – I was thinking about 8.7 but oh well.. I had so much FUN playing your cool episode, it was quite simmilar to that times when I was playing JJ2 The Secret Files my first time.

This is the really nice tileset.It has everything what is needed. I like tilesets made by Hotel Heroes.Their tilesets are aalways nice, well done and everything is placed logically. This tileset for sure is better then Hotel Dreams.
I like this yellow stairs and yellow stairs with red carpet. You can do very cool levels with it.
I will give you 9.

Okay, I looked at night version and you were right, this tileset sux. I will delete all the bugs and reupload this tileset with out this sucky night version.
Oh and JelZe, The “now approaching” sign isn’t directly taken from a screenshot (take a good look-Idid planet by my self), and none of my planet was done in rendered 3D.

This lvl is a bit hard and confusing.I didn’t know where are the spikes and sometimes I didn’t know why my heart is gone ,then I looked and I saw this nasty spikes again!-grrrrr
Well the lvl is for sure unusual and interesting.
But this is BORING, BORING and BORING that you used tubelectric. Guys don’t use this overused tilesets any more!!!
On this site U can find interesting tilesets from Agama (that is a pitty that only 4 sets),Disguise (I’m mean this good tilesets-Disguise made a lot of great sets), Violet’s conversions – I wish to see areally good level made with Violet’s Scraparap and Orbitus! WOW that would be cool.

OK back to review, Gameplay is good, this lvl is hard and you have to be careful for hidden spikes.
Eyecandy is not so good but it’s OK.
Events – not too big not too small amount of food, too many sparks no more enemies-that isn’t so good.

Wow! This is great if it is really your first level, keep making levels because I feel that your next will be really good. OK Let’s review this:

Wow! Finally new conversions of Violet CLM. This conversions rocks!

Orbitus is the best (I would say that this one is the best conversion I ever seen) Everything is here and lot of added things (great sky) And I know that Orbitus was the hardest tileset to convert and I give it 10!
-but there are other conversions and they aren’t so cool :<
Lagunicus I think about 9.2
and Mega Air Base (:<) well I will be honest here. This conversion is good, but it’s not as good as You should do (Violet I know that you could do that much more better) ——-The textured background is ugly :< -8.4

Total: 10+9.2+8.4:3=exactelly 9.2

Convert more like you did with Orbitus.
