Good choice on these tilesets NOKA! I really like these tilesets and example levels, though I can insert the boss at the end of each conversion. I also use some modified tilesets from IC but the levels a bit bugged so I will fix these by erasing some bugged bricks and insert enemies and ammo. I am absolutely genius.
9.5/10 It’s not bad.

Missing tiles, miscolored tiles, no black tiles at all, pinball events broken, lazily converted animations, lots of filler, ugly textured background. This set didn’t age very well I’m afraid! :(
To be a remake from JJ1 to JJ2, this tileset does not follow the Nick Stadler style at all, and it is not even really nice to see.
I mean … Layers 7 and 6 are composable tiles. I do not like composable tiles on those layers. And NO LAYER 5 by the looks of it. Layers 5-7 should be 10×7 pictures.
And the toxic tower is DITHERED!!! Wth
Nice drawing NOKA,
It does look beautiful and real
Awesome work. but some paletes in Labrat are ugly.
I have to say, make a level like this and put UT3’s song Mekalopolis over it. Okay, rating incoming:
Art Style:
It might not seem like it could do this, but these tilesets can go toe-to-toe with the likes of masterpieces in the hands of a skilled JCS’er. I give this a 5.6, and that’s not just to be flattering.
Diversity of Tiles:
NOKA certainly had this one handled. Although over 800 tiles had to be removed from the Secret Files versions (Technoir(2/3) – NOKA), it hasn’t lost its punch as much as I thought it would, which is good. It’s still capable of chewing up lesser tilesets for breakfast, so I’ll give it a 7.1
Layer Management:
No problems here at all, this tileset will only need 3 layers for the main body of the level, leaving plenty of elbow room. The true worth of the tileset shines through when silos are involved. Those things are built for JCS’ers to work wonders with. This gets a 7.5.
Environment:
Man, this place has many uses. Although the pink versions do look a bit vulgar to my eyes (you can thank 7th Lava Fall for that), that doesn’t hold it back at all. This takes a good 6.8.
Results:
Art Style – 5.6
Diversity of Tiles – 7.1
Layer Management – 7.5
Environment – 6.8
Total —> 6.75
Final Rating: 7
Don’t keep saying that you suck if you can’t make a good tileset. Negativity is the greater of killers.
I agree with cooba bcs i dont have any words left in my
mouth i think my next level will be with
your tileset :D
Hmmm…. Noka Noka, where all the originality gones? This is just a Jazz 1:Diamondus edit with one of the ugliest pallettes I ever seen. Also, Where is JJ2 carrotus’ eyecandy items?
Sorry. 5.5 only because the idea…
DR? N/A..
[~cooba]
Hmmmmmmmmmm…. reminds me of that Lavapolis tileset you made. What’s that?? Lack of originality? But hey, the other palletes look good. Good job but I won’t rate it if it looks the same to Lavapolis. I don’t rate twice for the same thing. I’d like to recommend this download but I have N/A rating so I can’t, sorry.
Lavapolis is just amazing tileset…… but i didn’t like the backgrounds. But still, who cares? :)
I thought that “Dreamy Mirrow I” by Disguise is the smallest tileset ever.
Then i met this tileset by Noka….
Nice job, bro…
Nice conversion,But can’t you do one for 1.23?
I’m right now remaking JJ1 lvls using JJ2 tilesets…
Yeah, only 10 bricks to use,but even if you can, build a four
brick tileset and an example level.
really much tilesets. looks great Easy to use
I have one word that describes this: WOW.
You’re a good drawer at all this.
I think its a good tileset and a good joke :P. 9\10
Heh. This is an incredibly small tile set…
But it’s a usable one [as extremely surprised as you may be, any tileset can be used]! Jusst barely. It’s a good thing its set to n/a comment, or you might get some baaaaad vibes. Only a few repetitive lines of blocks. Minimal eye candy. If anyone could make a decent level with this, i’d be so amazed. Oh well. Your call about dl’ing.
What the-?
That’s what I first thought when I saw this tileset up on the list. Not only is there NOT an apparent JJ1 Carrotus, but this set is a complete RIPOFF!
I hated it. JJ1 Carrotus is almost entirely a recolor of Diamondus, with a few very ugly useless tiles put in to make it seem like it really was Carrotus. Anims were good, but the set itself was alarmingly Diamondus’like. I recommend against downloading it.
