Ragnarok accomplished to create a level which revolves on a sort of diagonal symmetry. The given layout is interesting considering it hasn’t been used much before. Despite the level feels (and plays) a bit larger than the original TCS, therefore being it best suited for 3v3 and 4v4 matches.
Download highly recommended.
I had a few fun games here, but some areas (Like the area above the full c) can require very special and/or awkward maneuvers to reach. Also, lots of dead-endish areas, but they are well justified.
One of the most balanced a-symmetrical ctf levels I’ve played. The PU choices and the full cs are well justified in my opinion, but I think bouncer pu may still be more advantageous in certain situations.
This level has a very original layout, yet it is still fun to play in competitive games. I like the way the bases were implemented especially. The level should be somewhat balanced as well. It contains 2 full energies, but they have a long spawn time, which ensures that players cannot survive too easily. It works well for games of any size too.
after playing this level for a while i realize my rating was a bit harsh. great level, you can get used to the color, and every bit is well made
The level runs the rarely used 2 Full NRG setup to great effect, and by forgoing a Seeker PU becomes more fast paced than the BB duo. For this reason I find the level more fun to play than those two. The layout is well constructed and offers a lot of advanced tactical options. Visually, it’s fairly basic but functional and appealing to the eye.
A small level with a simple yet solid layout that is pretty fun to play. The float ups, while an interesting concept and work in the context of the tileset choice are annoying at first but can be adapted to. This level can be quite chaotic due to the open layout with few safe areas. However, this is less of an issue in smaller games. Give it a go!
Incredibly fun level with a simple yet well designed layout that encourages tactical play. I especially like the overall utility of both RF and EB here. This is one of the best levels for 2vs2s/3vs3s at the moment, so downloading is thoroughly recommended.
This is a really good CTF map. Eyecandy is well done, gameplay is fun and the level has a few tricks (which I won’t spoil ofcourse)
Download recommended!
Trig v2 is just as fun to play as the original, but feels more balanced, like it’s supposed to. Download recommended!
Something I didn’t quite add in the credits but I felt the need to add is that this level is heavily inspired by Cargo Sector 5 by FireSworD and that he is a great levelmaker xoxo
This level makes the best use of utilising belt floors in multiplayer, which makes it stand out. My nitpicks are, is that the top right corner is a little campy, and the top warp is fairly useless. Too much trouble to prepare getting to, for little reward and high risk. Reguardless, this level is solid and relatively balanced.
Yet another level using a battleships-tileset by rag, and that just tells you can expect high quality. The level is still very innovative with a good-looking palette which I haven’t yet seen for this tileset, and the gameplay isn’t too mainstream with the extra passages that become available for you when you obtain certain types of ammo. DL rec.
Whenever rag touches battleships it turns into something great. Basic things like flow and ammo placement are well done. The original concept of this level is the ice/rf you need to move around. Imo it’s well done in this level and is not annoying. What I liked most is that this is fun to play, I’d love to see this added in the multiladder mappool.
A good solid level that is fun to play. Like darksonic said there isn’t much new compared to your older levels. But then, why change something when it’s very good already? Download recommended!
A typical Rag level that doesn’t have anything new or original (except that the tileset hasn’t really been used yet) It’s the kind of level we need for the Bash, good gameplay, good size for a Battle level and good placement with a lot of fast fires like more levels that Rag has made in the last few years. Download definitely recommended.
Thx to Treya for finding the excellent soundtrack :(
