Hm. Nice level by Shadow. Well devised layout, bases where strategicly well placed. Weapen layout is good too, well devided across the entire map. The eyecandy is good too, very good even, but nothing that left me completely breathless. Come on Shad, you can do beter with this tileset. We’ve all seen “Blasting tron project” from FE, wich uses this set too, and i must say that to me, it looked much beter then this. But ah well, i’m rating this level individualy, not comparing it to Shadow’s other work. Also included is some yummy food in this level, i like that, not many people use it these days;). Some parts in this level looks they where directly copy/pasted from “Darker Science”, but if they where, i guess its ok, ‘cuz Shadow made “Darker Science” Himself:P. Design is sorta tight, but fluently playable, good for a CTF match with 4-6 people. A nice litle music file by music master Necros was included, wich i dont think fits that much in this level. I must say, that even though this wont become one of my favorite J2LC levels of all time, the whole thing looks pretty good. 7.2 Points here, and a download recomendation.
Yuck. Yes, you heard me, yuck. I am not going to coment on this. Just dont download it.
Wooo i got the 1000th upload>=]
Ah, what have we here? A remake of Disguise’s first tileset? Interesting.. Creepy.. Bloody.. Messy.. I like it;)! This tileset has a great evil look. The eyes in the background look very creepy, very origenal. This tileset has a number of uses, expect a level with it from me soon. I realy, REALY like this tileset. A big fat 8.0 from me. Buster, who’s making you give away such horibly high ratings;)? But now seriously. I did’nt like this level quit that much. It uses Blade’s awesome forest tileset, downloadable right here at J2O. It makes pretty good use of it, i dont have too much complaints about tileset usege here. Design is pretty simple, not bad though. Like Mike himself already said, you can run from one base to the other without having to jump, thats good. Not much obstacles in this level, i like that. This means the level is has good, fluent gameplay. The whole design seemed sort of unorigenal though, the idea of a CTF (or any other gameplay mode for that matter) in a underground tunnel system has been used a few times already, its nothing i have’nt seen before. Weapen placement is good, not too much, not too litle, and well devided over the entire map. Music did’nt totaly fit in this level. I would have prefered Blade’s music choice, MR. Stewe’s “Static Universe” soundtrack, wich totaly fits in with this tileset if you ask me. Oh, and “Cavern CTF” is’nt realy a origenal name right:-\? I would have done somthing like: Grassy Caverns” or some title in that direction, much beter if you ask me;P. Well, after much thought, i have decided to award “Cavern CTF” with these nice litle 7.5 points. You dont ToTaLy NeEd to download this, but i’d still say you should, because its pretty good.
Clicked the submit button twice after specifying info, don’t bother, me stupid. And yes Defalcon, i AM sorta going for the 1000th post, but not this way. Also, i think i’m not the only one who is;)
NOTE: Oh, and i did’nt include the tilesets and the music wich where included in the 1st beta, because it would have taken me too much time to upload with my conection. If you did’nt download it back then, here’s the url:

opens eyes widely Unhit trying to make a tileset? Ah well, here goes… Surprisingly, this is a pretty nice tileset, and defenitly for a first atempt. Its got mostly everything needed for a good level, stuff like vines, text signs, spikes and other things. I’m not gonna nag you for not including tubes, like Disguise brobably will, because i dont think tubes belong in a castle:P. Some things where ripped from epic sets, like the spikes and torches from the castle tilesets, and some plants from the Carottus sets. Also stolen where the destructable secenery blocks, but i wont dock any points for that, because basicly almost anyone uses these. The rest of the tileset looks pretty good, i wonder if the author drew it by hand. Its got a nice looking, 3D background for layer 8, just like in mirrow’s small castle tileset. One downfall that i see, is that there is’nt that much stuff useable for layers 5-7, exept some rain tiles. And of course, even the best tileset is’nt worth anything without a example level. Fortunatly, Unhit thought of making a example level, a small but neat single player level, good enough for 1 or 2 minutes fun. I must say that this is pretty good for a first tileset. Because of the stolen tiles i’m giving you a 7.2 here, if you would have just made those things by yourself, it would have probably been a 7.5, or maybe a 7.7. Download this one.
Another unfair 1… Admins, PLEASE ban Bjarni cool from J2O, he’s getting on our nerves.
A pretty cool level by Evilmike of J2LC we have here. “Alien technologys”(i still liked the old name, “Alien Jungle” beter), is a well designed CTF level, using the tileset Ets planet 2 aka Grentenus. Use of the tileset is good, and the level’s design is pretty new looking, sorta origenal. The music, to me, was defenitly wrong. The music file used in the other version, “Shutdown”, fits a litle beter to me. Otherwise, try Darkness.mod(“Edge of Darkness”) or night2.s3m(“Amazonas”). I realy like the way the tileset was used. I have a level lying around using this tileset too, ready for upload. Guess i’ll release it once:P. Ammo placement is good here too, maybe a “BIT” litle, but good. I would have liked to see some light efects in the level, or atleast not have the level at 100% light. Try turning down the light to 72 or something like that, it will look darker, more creepy, and add to the feel of the level. Background layers where used pretty basic, same as in all other levels published with this tileset, but i guess there are’nt realy any other ways to use them. The whole level itself is at most places very open, sorta reminds me of Disguise’s level design style, wich i like very much. Suckertubes are well hidden and placed, and can be used to make shortcuts to the basses. I was unable to find any dead ends yet, wich is good too, because me, and a lot of other people woth me are strongly against dead ends in multiplayer levels. I also like the way vines where used, it looks pretty cool. I was, because of the music, very undecided between a 7.7 and a 8 here. I’ll be generous this time, so this 8.0 is yours.
NO TILESET will ever beat such origenality, Exept maybe New’s livingroom;). A very nice tileset. No other coments at this time, just download this.
What Splash said.
Ah, another Mario Bross remake. You would’nt believe how many of those i have seen in my time, and many of them beter then this one. Enemy placement is bad, they are all clutered up in big blocks of 4 or 5. Ammo placement in the bonus level is bad too. And note, the stopwatches dont work. You need to use another event, i forgot wich one at the moment. The 2nd level had no background, just black. And another thing, when i was fighting the bosses, they where able to escape through that open space on the left. A 3.7 for the work that you seem to have put into it.
MR MAGOO’s new battle level, “Sandy Temple”, is a fairly well designed level. It is pretty open, not as claustrofobicly made as my levels:P. Weapen placement is good, maybe a tad too sparse, but good enough, pretty well balenced. As background music, MR MAGOO choose the rockings ‘Zarathus’ tune, wich has a very egyptian feel, the same Agama choose for his example:). Eyecandy is good too. Makes good use of Agama’s AwEsOmE Egypt Day tileset. The level features both inside and outside areas. There are a few dead ends, but apart from that, it’s got good, solid and fueltn gameplay. It makes good use of the lighting efects Agama used in his tileset. Overall, i like it. Yes, i like it.. A nice 7.7 from me. Good job, MR MAGGOT:P[This review has been edited by >CelL<]
“Best race in world”. Lol. Arogance is yours. Worst is more like it. Sparks dont work in race mode. No point of using them. Much to short. Almost no eyecandy. Only eyecandy there is was most likely taken from the oficial levels. This 1.7 is yours. Treat it well.
I tested it myself. Sparks and other enemys dont work in MP. [This review has been edited by >CelL<][This review has been edited by >CelL<]
A very nice level, using the quite overused MEZ01 tileset. But this time its diferent. The levels that made MEZ01 so overused where for 98% total garbage, but this is’nt. It makes pretty good use of the tileset. It also has a pretty spiffy music file, wich the auther unfortunatly failed to include. If you dont have this music, but want to hear it, download ‘Happy CTF’ by Stripe, right here on J2O. The music file fits the level nicely, even though for MEZ01 levels, i will always prefer the jj1 Scraparap song, aka the famous song14.s3m. ET also did’nt include the MEZ01 tileset, but i wont dock him for that, for these days, practicly everyone has it. The level has fairly good design, easy to get around in. Bases where placed like most people places them, the red one at the far right end of the level, and the blue one at the far left end. Ammo placement is good too. Background layer 8 could move a bit faster, but thats no problem, jsut a mater of preference. A 20 coin bonus was included, for wich you get: A few fastfires, a full energy carrot, and ability to travel to either the red or the blue base. Coins where well devided over the level, although maybe a bit too much gold coins. This is a pretty good CTF level. Download this one.
It’s here. After a long time of waiting, Ninja Dodo finaly finished teh Lost World episode, a very l33t single player pack, using the famous Lost world tileset. The pack is very cool. It makes terific use of the tileset. It has all the features from Site-B, like the waterfalls, the abandoned ofice building, the caves, the coast. It has some very cool, well drawn dinosaurs, like the T-Rex, and a few others of wich i dont exactly know what they are called:-O. The pac itself is also very l33t. One thing bothered me though: its was a litle too easy, even in hard mode. Some of the levels, like the one taking place in and around the abandoned ofice building, where a bit short. But apart from that, very origenal. I wanna bet Ninja Dodo used every tile in the entire tileset. The levels had very origenal ideas. Like for example “Sorna Falls”, where you have to make your way through a number of cliffs, seperated by giant waterfalls. Almost every level combines both in water and on dry land play. The level “Down the tubes” was pretty origenal, based in the sewers beneath the abandoned foice. The pack follows a pretty sturing story, about a rabbit who gets ship wrecked on his way to Costa Rica, and is stranded on a eiland full of dinosaurs, not to mention all sorta of other pesky animals, like ravens, turtles, fish, lizards, stuff like that. The most origenal level by far was the 9th level, where you need to run from “mr. I am the greatest”, the T.Rex. To ad to this, Ninja Dodo also added a number of totaly awesome looking 3D cutscenes, to be viewed in Realplayer, wich conect some of the levels with each other. To sum it up, this is a must download for all of you. Very high 9.0(!) points.[This review has been edited by >CelL<]
A nice litle level by Whitey and Super Saiyan. ‘Muddy Apocolypse’ is a nice, well created level. Btw, the fact that Whitey finds level creating dull realy puzzles me:P. The design here is good. Ammo placement is fine too. The level makes good use of Agama’s awesome Swamps of the sleeping jaguar tileset. It has good eyecandy, although some of those fake walls tend to get anoying once in a while. Music is chosen well, Agama used it for his example too;). I like the design of the level, its pretty good, with almost ne dead edns and such, thus creating pretty fluent gameplay. The level is a bit small, but thats not too much of a problem. was very undecided between a 8.0 and a 8.2 here, but because the moths where used, and because of some nice secrets, i’ll be generous. This 8.2 is yours, but just this once.

Whew, another totaly 133t tileset by Disguise. The tileset’s theme is obviously a ancient abandoned temple, deep down in grassy noman’s land. The theme id well used, themed tilesets are good. The tileset features Disguise’s totaly awesome drawing style, as we know it from ‘Spacey Universe’. The tileset has some realy nice stuff in it, like well drawn trees, grass, with litle rocks in them, some grass to put on layer 3, like in Disguise’s “Africa” tileset. Ground comes in two diferent types, grassy and bare, sandish. It also has, for use in traps in singleplayer levels, litle arrows, probably shot at you by the local natives;). Also included are a few bloody looking spikes. Vines where included too. The temple part is also pretty cool. Nic elooking 3D ground, a few nice pillars, and a big statue of Jazz. Download this 133t litle tileset now.
