WOOT! Will review after! But looks good. Sonic! =D

EDIT: Okay, here’s a short review.

Eyecandy: Nothing incredibly remarkable – it’s Marble Gardens (one of my favourite themes from Sonic 3). Though not spectacular, it’s perfectly acceptable. The background kinda clashes with the rest of the tiles, however. Also, the night version appears to just have an altered palette. It’d be nice to have a few more extra touches to make it more distinguishable.

Tiles: Most of what’s needed is here. Not much to say really. It looks fairly easy to piece a level together with, especially if you’ve played Sonic 3 (who hasn’t?) and know how the tiles should fit together.

Overall, it’s a fairly nice conversion. Nothing over the top wow, but it’s nice nonetheless, especially as a conversion. Download recommended, easily beats out the old ‘Mobius’ and ‘Super Emerald’ sets I have in my folder. =)[This review has been edited by defalcon]

Okay, after the like 8th upload the CTF music is up – filesize was too large. had to exclude one song that wouldn’t fit in either zip without making them over the limit – ss_skyli.xm

Enjoy. And be appreciative, this whole debacle cost me bandwith, and I’m already over my limit. ;P

I love the selection. It can’t be faulted – Carrotus Squash is in it, and Toxic Waste is in it. Good stuff. I’m sorta glad that ‘Bobbo Meets Royalty’ isn’t in it this time ;)

First level? Meh, not really. :P

EDIT: Hmmm Newspaz is right, they replaced it last year cause of that.[This review has been edited by defalcon]

Very nice set from Wisey’s new PSP8. Seems waaay too detailed for me to use, but nice nonetheless. Plenty of eyecandy, nice atmosphere, and choice of theme. The night version could use something different from the day other than the palette though.

Download reccomendation? It’s Disguise, duh! :P Get it.

Violet you are the king. I’ve been waiting for Dreempipes for bleeming ages! :D

Doesn’t seem to lack any tiles that I can see. Has the red buttons, the green background alternative versions of all the tiles, heck even the boss eggs. :) Very well done.

IMHO you shoulda used Haze’s Dreamy Pipes remix, it might not be as authentic but it’s even cooler music. :p[This review has been edited by defalcon]

Woo! His 50th set! An occassion worth celebrating! It’s come a long way from its humble origins as a blank grid. ;)

The eyecandy is nice, and I like the water alot for some odd reason. :P Tonnes of stuff to use, the Genie looks rather cool as well.

No masking errors I can spot (although some hillarious dialogue ‘Wisety, that made my day xD) and the ‘free mirrow’ stuff down the bottom was especially cool. ;)

But yes. One of his best sets (aside from a few others that I like better :P) Download now

Jeebs, this level made me want to make a level just like it when I played it, so with the eyecandy adjustments and various other doodads (is that a word?), I’m working more on my level again. ;)

Brilliant eyecandy, asteroids, nice use of Disguise’s set, even uses the turrets. It’s also one of the few, if only, level I’ve seen that has good gameplay whilst having the bases right next to each other.

The middle is quite open, and when I played around with CelL seekers were the weapon of choice. Which is good, because some parts of the level allow quick escape and makes em hard to hit (or at least, CelL and Rage were).

Great level, I’d recommend you downlaod this now. I mean, sheesh, it’s a CELL level. The CelLman rules. Get it now!

Oh, yes, you’re still a kangaroo. ;)

Not bad Disguise. I didn’t think you and Mirrow would actually REVEAL yourselves, but still. =)

Nice set, good eyecandy, original in a way. Grass is nice, the dirt texture looks a little blurry though.
I can’t believe you’ve managed to get me to try and make a hotel. ;P

Okay Wisety, thanks for sending me the preview picture, it had me scrambling. Oh, and remind me to kill you for that trick with the 2 minute rush-job ‘Fastacious’ set. Really, I mean it. ;)

Tarzans Treetops:
Okay, this set is really cool and jungly (is that a word?), and it is distinclty different from Agama’s Swamps set, with the trademark 3d-ish look. Plenty of eyecandy, nice custom trigger blocks, the leaves are a bit reminicent of Jungle and Swamps, but they’re of the same thing so that’s to be expected. All in all, a very nice set. And I LOVE the textured background.
Score: 8.5

Unreal Imagination:
A bit dark, and sorta plain at first glance. Although I do like the grainy blue-red tiles, nice look to them. Some nice animated tiles and some eyecandy, quite spiffy, and a coolish textured background.
Score: 8

Space Warbase:
I really like the look to this one, with the cool yellow-black hazardy strips, the rough-looking asteroids and whatnot. And the small asteroids are very cool. To top it off, the textured background is super l33t. Nice set, this one. :)
Score: 8.7

Raging Inferno:
Gawd I love this set. This is one HUGE set, and the detail put in is awesome. Really looks fire-and-brimstoney (is that a word as well?), and is one of the best sets of the pack. Of course they are all good. ;)
The rocks give it a sort of subterranian feel (which I assume they are meant to ;p) and have nice textures on them. Oh, did I mention cool background? ;)
Score: 9

Winter Wonderland:
From the preview pic Wisety showed me, this set grabbed my interest the most. Gawsh, this has to be oe of the coolest sets I’ve seen, ever. The amount of detail; snow (obviously)00tness!), snowmen (ish cuuuuute!), some coolish trees and some wicked looking mountains. Plus, the textured background ruxors, how do you do these things? ;)
Score: 9.2

Finally, Townsville ][:
Oh…my….this set…..gaaaaaaaaa this set is so cool. I love it. it is awesome. Feed me!!!
The ground tiles…..darn they look cool, little pebbles and grass :)
Some nice mountains (gotta figure out how he does that too), some cute cartoony trees….it is cool, and has my vote for the best set in the pack (a close tie between it and Winter Wonderland, but this one won ;p). I do like the house tiles, obviously the town part of Townsville. Just awesome. And is it just me Wisety, or do those bricks look awfully familliar? ;D
Score: 9.2

So that gives an average score of…87 approximately, but overall, I’m giving this set a 9. YOu deserve it. =)
Yes, I am biased. ;)

Finally he gets around to uploading it! I’ve had it sitting in my JJ2 folder for a while. Onto tha review:
Eyecandy: Okay, not the eyecandy here is darn awesome! Go ahead, you’re allowed to drool. There are some lovely stone-grain textures on the bricks, with little shadows in the corners and all. There are knights similar to the ones from Epic’s castle sets, but there’s also a mini-armoury type that looks cool, fires, arrows, extra chains – it’s all there. Red and blue-base markers such as the shields, the flags, and the big GpW flags, add an extra, polished finish to it. He’s got a tile for rain, a textured background (which I LOVE!) and (I think), clouds. There are chains for vines, and sharp hooks for…well, hooks, all of which fit the theme of the set. Darn, he’s even added in crushing blocks since I last saw the set! So much eyecandy!!! dies

Disguise has added all the required blocks – destructible blocks (custom made – looks nice ;D), poles that look like rusted nails, crushing blocks and spikes for hurt tiles, all of which look censored good! So much eyecandy! dies

He’s also added in a nice, bumpy-3d ‘Disguise’ logo, as customary, along with a J2LC logo (Quisty’s domain!!!) SSF (dunno what that is, but GUMMI!!!) and so on. He also added a tonne of hilarious mask messages. I must remember to do that if I ever make any sets…so much eyecandy!!!

Question for you Disguise, I’m still alive, why do I need a gamevoice? ;)
But I already live under a mushroom and roll around the floor while barking and flapping my arms. Now how am I supposed to be original? ;)
Those who are confused, read all the hidden messages.

SO MUCH EYECANDY!!! DOWNLOAD THIS SET IF YOU HAVE A BRAIN!!! =D DOWNLOAD RECCOMENDATION IS GO!

NOTE: Further review after, rating may change. Still looking at all these goodies. :)

WHY WHY WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah wanted first review! sniff I waited ages for it!

The eyecandy in this set is magnificent! Little flowers, bits of grass. It has a rain tile that can be used too. The little houses look darn awesome (Disguise’s house is far off tho), there are enough tiles for everything!

Masking is brilliant, I haven’t spotted a flaw so far, but the the level plays well and I managed to run around smoothly without getting stuck in anything.

It’s nice, it’s colourful, I can’t find any bugs, it looks darn awesome – DOWNLOAD RECOMMENDATION! GO GET NOW!!!

EDIT: I WAS fooled by the hype, but after seeing the set combined with Disguises’s claim that it was ‘better than Corrupted Sanctuary and Nature’s Ruins by far’ (which are my personal favourites), ADDED to the mask messages (with his house, his tree etc)…well you get teh drift.

Realistic rating? There isn’t a tonne of eyecandy, it is well drawn though, but not enough of it. The masking is well done though, but the set really is small and simple. Realistically? Hm…go check. From a 9.5 to a 7. :)
BTW though, I still wanted the first review.

EDIT 2: Woo! Ahm at tha top! :D
