Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

I was first very sceptical of this, well actually I should be sceptical of any level. I to hosted this level with a decent amount of people on it. It was fun , and fun is what the levels are here to supply if not the level creator didn’t do there job right. Excellent level Sean.

Well I really enjoyed playing this. It had a different feel to it than other levels do. I suppose since its got more height. The eyecandy was nice. I liked what you did with the space background. Great job. Going into my levellist

Layout
The layout is great, While I found a nice flow to the level there were a few bumps in the way. Which got a bit annoying.

Eyecandy
Stunning beautiful, a fantastic atmosphere you set up with the eyecandy snooze. It really did have a totally different feel compared to other levels, I like this a lot in a level. I also liked the placement of the stopwatches A nice idea which worked.

Other
Weapon placement was excellent and fantastic places to fit all the PU. Carrot placement is fair.

I recommend this level for anyone up for some fun filled time. This level will delivery. I know its going straight too my level list.

Great job snooze, I look forward too more of your levels in the future.

Enjoyable levels with some fun gameplay. My faverite is frosty village :D.

words cannot describe how amazing this level is, there are plenty of fun tactics to use and awesome game play. The eyecandy is also beyond this world.

A very nicely draw tileset. Here’s hoping it gets used in the near future. The colors are very nice too.

Perhaps, Its all opinion. To me you are rating how good the test is. It doesn’t mean its better than something such as Get me R.Movie wise, Its like saying “I think 10 is overrated for a Chick flick” .

Maybe you should give a review then if you think 10 is too much for the level.

Excellent does what it says it will do , and works 100%. And very easy to use. The only problem with it is the interface , it’s pretty ugly but thats not going to hold back a great programe like this.

So as it says it makes episode pictures on the main single player menu so you ill no longer have to go into home cooked for some of those impressive single players. I hope evilmike makes some for his single players.

Another good thing is if you have not stuck close to the pallete it will auto convert it for you , even tho sometimes arter effects won’t be so good but hey thats the only colours you can use anyway. There isn’t much more to do that simply save the images you made and save them into jj2 as j2e files.

Conclusion
Well it does what it says and it does work , and is a very good feature for any people who enjoy makeing single players , can finally have a image on the main screen of the work. The only thing holding this back a little is the ugly interface. So i reccomend you download this.

@evilmike ,I knew there was one earlyier than this , but maybe you could make some and tell people not to have too many , or maybe a jj2+ fix could sort it out. maybe. It’s still useful.

The eyecandy is excellent. I do love what you have done and fixed in the background.
The textures have been done nicely. The gameplay is excellent when I hosted it everyone seemed to enjoy it. The music doesn’t really fit but theres not reason to down the score becuase of that.

Floating island pwns !. I reccomend for download it is indeed fun

il review later , good job on stealing the music from madness combat 4 ;p , and useing it for the movie intro :P

level 1

eyecandy
YOU USED 1 TILE FOR THE TERRAIN (and a grass tiles on top) it just looks ugly like that it looked worse when you used the egg terrain , also the background wasn’t good either you need to learn how to use the layers.but the eyecandy apart from that wasn’t noob stlye but needs more added to it – so bad eyeandy :(

gameplay + layout
the gameplay was great i enjoyed it a lot it was fast moveing and easy to get around it so thats pretty much what i have to say , the layout was awsome to move around in to

enemy placement
the enemy placement was ok but had some annoying this in like loads of turtles just walking together (don’t do that its not really hard if your trying to make it harder)

other placement
placement on guns was ok not much more to say about that , the money warp you should have made stand out by putting something what standsout like a bonus sighnpost perhaps , placement was ok tho

other
ok im not sure if theres a story or not , but you should put things in english as most of the community knows it (well polish is second :P) , also nice mce but the boss was easy you just had to stay at the same distance and shoot.

Level 2

hmm same tileset (its ok but better when you change)

eyecandy
i still have to say the same on my first comment on the first level , but you have added some only a bit now tiles for the new terrain like a few eggs but good job on fixing the background , but still the eyecandy is a bit basic.

gameplay + layout
the gameplay wasn’t as good this time but still alright it had annoying parts like go up a set of tiles then going back down the layout was ok but a bit annoying

enemy placement
better and much less annoying not much else to say to that

weapon placement was ok to not much to say about that

other
waros where hard to find and you could not find your way about easy

its has been fun to play but got boreing il give this a 7.7 tho as it is good and fun ;D and instresting

ok all the levels have great eyecandy , mostly anyway , i still think that lava windsow looks out of place , Well apart from that there not much to say more about it , its great ec! I like the fog in torchwood ;D

also i like some of the instresting things in the pack , I remeber on what levels are goning on jazz2online you had it in progres , its basicly a nice X shape you go up one foot of the x and you capture thew flag go to the other to flag it , also i love the gravity ss6 ;D

ammo placement is good , and food placemnt to ;D ,

the thing i thought was good but not great was torchwood i found it a little basic for you birdie.

gameplay
gameplay is intresting (look at the intresting part) so it makes it less boreing (not that it is boreing)

conclusion

ok the one thing i liked about this is the placement of ammo gems etc.

Bad things

The level is very frustrating , there are many warps what take you back to the start of the level , whats even worse is all the enemies have respawn on them so you have to through them all again and that isn’t fun at all , have respawn on enemies is ok at times but when you have to go down a hole and get back the enimies are respawed already , also it did not look like a hot desert at all dispite the tileset , you need to use a better background and the eyecandy was awful , you put mountain top on a piece of ground that isn’t good , use the tileset properly , it normally makes the level better .

conclusion:

its just to frustating as enimies respawn too fast and you can go all the way back to the start of the level.

sorry , but this is bad , but keep trying and your get better trust me.

ok first of all this isn’t that good , im not reviewing it , nut i think you should stronly look back at it

Hey this has good eyecandy , (i like the way how you used the turtles on the mushroom leges).
Not much to say about a small level its just you could of made it a boit more exciting , alls it is is 2 small pits and only small amount of platforms , you could improve it by putting more objects in it , because its just gonna be to easy to die when playing expesially with pits.
But i think you did very well on half of it.

wt thease are just easy pallete edits i baby could do this , well a 5 year old , take it from a pro tileset maker , but stop thease + things or just release them all in a pack cos its not worth downloading a single easy to do pallete edit tileset.
