Well, it kinda is poor. Even though this is your first conversion, it is in need of work. However, you included baddies [yay!], which most conversions don’t have, so it’s not a total loss.
TILES
Why did you make multiple copies of one set of tiles? Most of the tiles are there, but the color is waaaay off [BTW, Fanolint is beige/brown, not orange], but then it’s your first one. You may wanna fix it.
BUGGYNESS
Hmmm…actually, there aren’t millions of bugs here [I’m not saying there aren’t any]. Good there!
EYE CANDY
This is a big beef. You didn’t put too much in [except the baddies]. Yes you included most of the JJ1 tiles [kudos], but you stopped there.
PROBLEMS
Need I say any more?
SUMMARY
To sum it up, you need to do a lot of work. The only reason I would recommend dl’ing this is because it’s the only version availible. Good first try, but go back and repair it.

Violet CLM Releases Pezrock Conversion

By PT32
March 20th, 2012
Jazz2Online

On August 2nd, 2004, a new conversion of the Pezrock planet from the Jazz Jackrabbit 1 video game was released by Violet CLM. CLM, known well throughout the community of the Jackrabbit games’s popular website Jazz2Online for his high-quality Jazz 1 tileset conversions, apparently completed the set for some kind of birthday celebration, hurrying to finish it as soon as he could.

“[It’s a] totally untested rush job,” said CLM, jokingly adding, “It’s probably not worth the download.”

The Pezrock conversion, while generally disliked for its questionable masking and distinctly bright color palette, was nonetheless accepted by members of J2O as a solid upload.

“Not [Violet’s] best,” wrote J2O member Blackraptor in a review on the tileset, “Although [he] did a good job, considering it was apparently rushed and had no betatesting.”

“The tileset lends itself well to both single player and multiplayer ventures,” fellow reviewer Trafton AT added.

Overall, despite having some minor drawbacks, Violet CLM’s rendition of the classic Jazz 1 planet of Pezrock portends to be another big hit for the veteran tileset maker.

er, it’s ok. However, I couldn’t get it to work! Maybe you should’ve included a readme, to get me going.

BUGGYNESS
No comment. It’s ok, but I’m not good at checking thing for bugs.
EYE CANDY
?!?!?
PROBLEMS
like the others have said, it appears to only be singleplayer, which is too bad. Please make it multi, if possible.
SUMMARY
I would give you a 5, and that is generous. It needs an overhaul for sure, but a few tweaks, and it’ll be back up in no time!
I will give my first ever N/A for download recommendation, since it’s hard to decide either way.

All right, my friend, let’s have a look at this Very Average Pack of yours. Very good structure, levels were ok, but let’s go over that in detail…
QUALITY
Overall, very good. You had some fine levels [i.e. 2,3, and 4], and then some not-so-fine levels [1,5]. 5 seemed fairly short, and I found the other base in under 7 seconds. Try hiding them a little better. [But they were still good!] I really liked in the inferno level, where you could warp to the base you selected. Good thinking.
TILES[sets]
Good choices, they kept my mind active [which can be hard to do], and were interesting to see. However, you used a lot of original tilesets [tubelectric, inferno—but that was a modded one], try using a few more customs next time.
BUGGYNESS
Not much to say here, you got rid of pretty much all the buggage, and made it nice n’ smooth. Points go for that!
EYE CANDY [in this case, music]
Ah yes, and here is my biggest bone. Almost NONE of your levels had music files at all! This is definitely a biiig no-no. However, the one song you used was soo good that I’m gonna use it in my own battlepack [if you don’t mind] coming soon. I would strongly recommend going back and giving it music, because that will make it even better.
PROBLEMS
Just the stuff I mentioned, be sure to work on that. It’ll be worth the effort, I promise!
SUMMARY
To close this all up, I’d like to say that you did some good work, but also missed some stuff. Be very sure to go correct that stuff I pointed out. It’ll improve your status. But the most important thing to remember is to not let this get you down. You may have missed a bit of work, but you made up for it elsewhere. Keep at it, and amaze us with an even averagier CTF pack!
To readers, I recommend dl’ing this, even if it needs work. It’s still an awesome pack! [P.S.-you forgot to password one of your levels. :)]

A worthy addition to the beloved Jazz2Online. What Shmecherguysv has done it created a Romanian language file for Jazz2 [1.23 only, maybe a 1.24 someday], that is, as far as I know, usable. Details follow below:
QUALITY
Pretty good, actually. He/she did a good job converting it to Romanian, using the dutch language file [not to offend any Dutchmen out there…], which you should definitely back up before using the Romanian one. It seems very good, but I can read neither Dutch nor Romanian, so I may be all off. I’ll give you pointts, anyway.
TILES

BUGGYNESS
Like I said, there don’t appear to be any bugs in it, which is always good. However, awesome things like this rarely ever come bug-free, so no promises. It still looks okay!
EYE CANDY

PROBLEMS
Like Buggyness, there don’t appear to be any. Since I can’t read dutch or Romanian [like I said], it may just be totally whacked. Or it may just be totally rockish. Your pick [I’ll say rockish, just cause I’m nice]
SUMMARY
To wrap it all up, I’ll give you flying colors for it. I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again: it may or may not work. As always, it’ll most likely depend on system schematics, but I feel it’ll do just fine. Good work! I would recommend you download this, if not because I said so, because I wanna find out if Dutch and Romanian are different. Just kidding, strike that from the record. Go ahead and pick it up.
