Thanks for the review Bloody_Body. I remember spending quite a lot of time with this level. It took quite long, since I only had time every day after school. I believe I was trying to make a really big and long level with a lot of secrets splitting paths to add to the replay value. I wasn’t too good with the eye candy when making it, but after Loon’s review I added some to make the tileset a little less boring also repairing the mentioned bugs and flaws.
Anyway, glad you liked it. Maybe I’ll make some new levels in the future. I just haven’t had time since finishing secondary school.
I have to say these are very good levels. While playing I felt like I was on the original levels. They have very good music especially the first level, good eyecandy and you deal well with the tilesets. I even found a bonus level which reminds me of the JJ1 bonus level (no enemies, can’t die, full of goodies). Also i found a great amount of secrets (probably there are even more that i didn’t find). The medivo level was a bit short and weird but whatever (kinda reminded me of medivo 2 from JJ1). Difficulty: not too hard not too easy. I don’t remember dieing but my health definitely went to 1 a few times. It’s a must try for JJ2 single player fans.
Download definitely recommended.
hi i have problems with file “tsf.town3.3j2l readin it doesnt read it keeps throwing me out of the game
Download definitely recommended. It’s a nice level with very good music. I really enjoyed it.
Thx to Treya for finding the excellent soundtrack :(
Lol. Must say that there are lvls which are bad but idk what to say ‘bout this one :/.
Good map, quite gimmicky and yeah finally, you just RickRoll’D me XD.
Sean here without a rating to say congratulations on stealing that song I wanted to use. I no longer have the luxury of saying I discovered this awesome song. :c
Quite enjoyable. I liked the levels. They are similar to the original levels (which I personally think are good). You should have put saving points in your levels. It’s quite important for a level that has bees as enemies.
Nice!! Good to play the JJ1 levels
As said, nothing special, but it’s enjoyable in it’s own way.
Nothing too new or creative but alltogether quite good. Especially for players who also like the original levels since this one also has a similar style.
Good level. Soundtrack fits well (I’ll definitely use it when i’ll make some levels). Tileset is also very good.
Really good. I enjoyed this level. Also i like the icy version of diamondus.
i always really liked this level (previous version even with crappy set) and i guess i wont change my mind ever, especially that now you can move there more freely than before and, goddamn – music rox!
What it says – a small Labrat romp. Decent overall.
I downloaded this and played the levels, and all I can say is that it reminds me of those times when jj2 was actually good. When there no addons like carrotade or plus and no zeal servers. That feeling is something what is really hard to find these days.
Thanks for the feedback!! Fun fact: phylaxia used to have sucker tubes on each edge, but my better testers said it made the level too similar to EvilMike’s infamous Distopia.
