Another JTF level, using the same tileset as the past one etc.

Eyecandy/Tile placing: Either none or very buggy. Many tiles are placed wrong and look really ugly especially around 91,47. Layer 3 is used poorly as well.
Pros: The Backround layers (6-8) don’t look THAT bad.
Cons: Layer 3 used poorly, tiles dont fit, bad placing of some tiles, turrets don’t work too good and look ugly etc etc.
Rating: 4

Triggers and classes: Firstly, there are 3 classes. Flag runner, field rooster and Base defender. None of these start off with powerups (except base defender who gets a freezer powerup….). The text describing what each class does has a few spelling mistakes, but since I’m not sure if the author is english or not, and may not speak english well, I’ll ignore this little detail. Only one of the 3 classes can get the flag, and that’s boring. The rest have very limited area that they can acess.
Pros: There are classes
Cons: Poorly done.
Rating:4.7

Layout: Layout isn’t too good. Crowded in some places, looks strange and messy in others. Turrets placed in bad places. Flow is evil.
pros: Has a layout and could’ove been worse.
Cons: Buggy, messy, and evil.
Rating:5.5

Gameplay: I don’t like it too much. In some places its ok and even a bit smooth, but in others its just bad. Tiles arent onewayed when needed, you crash into things. I especially disliked the underwater part since it was just straight and plain. But at least some parts are OK
Pros: Some parts are acceptable
Cons: Some parts just arent.
Rating:5.5

OVERALL (not an average): I would rate this lower, but it is ok for your first levels. I doubt you figured out how to do the triggering yourself though, but the level is ok. I wouldn’t host it or play it often though.
Pros: Ok.
Cons: Not good enough for me to host or play often.
Rating:5

Final rating: 5.2, +2 marks since I’ve seen many worser first levels (namely mine =P)

I personally disagree with your protest. People can make as much tilesets as they want, its a free world. And there are many tilesets which are quite old and still popular, like agama’s. If it’s anything, I think there are too many single levels uploaded to this. Think about it, 300 tilesets, 2200 levels. 2200>300. plus most of the tilesets are quite original. I haven’t seen any heaven tilesets except agamas. I haven’t seen any swamp/jungle tilesets like swamps, I haven’t seen any castle tilesets that are like Corrupted Sanctuary. Mind you, having plenty tilesets is good. If you want to make a level taking place in a jungle, there are plenty tilesets that are jungle based to choose from. If there was only one tileset for each main theme, it would be very boring, because levels would be too similar.

In my opinion, if you couldn’t make tilesets in jj2, jj2 would be long dead. About 80/100 levels made are using custom tilesets. Without custom tilesets, there wouldn’t be as much levels, meaning people would have less levels to play and host, meaning what I said before, Jazz won’t be as popular and probably dead. And finally, posting this in jcf would of been much better than just quickly making a level, and only posting it so you can type in a bunch of letters descibing your opinion in the wrong place. Review for the level will come later.

Well, hearing this project first in the JCF, I must say I was surprised, but I didn’t expect anything near as good as this. N0 has demonstrated what the fog can do in multiple ways. He has shown us what things you can do with fog (a lot of them where very spiffy btw) and he shown it in a nice way. One of my favorite things were the tunnels, and the “Beam me up scotty”(lol) part, since it looked similar to a tornado, which would be interesting in some levels. N0 has shown us what different things Fog can do if used properly, and by seeing his demonstration I am tempted to put in fog into some of my levels. The purpose of this project has definately been acheived, and well. In Conclusion, Good Job, though I’m going to give it N/A for now.

I’m included as well =)))))))))))))))))

Anyways, a word search, good for when you’re bored or have nothing else to do. Looks well made and I’ve tried it and it’s possible. Should be fun on those rainy boring days, so I’d reccomend people to download this. Apologies for the short review, but making a good review on a word search isn’t that easy ;P

Oh and btw, I wouldn’t reccomend havign clan names in word searches since they only have 2 or 3 letters and you can find them everywhere in the word search (I found Si 2 times accidentally without even trying). Though it is appreciative for you to include them, I reccomend including longer words instead.[This review has been edited by Blackraptor]

Yet another program from Eagle. This one, in my opinion, is more effective. Commonly in duels I find seeker holes almost everywhere. They just pop up, and sometimes in the most devious places. Several times in duels I found myself shooting seekers at my enemy, but instead of homing in on the opposite team player, they home in on a seeker hole, which is extremely annoying for me. The layout of this program resembles the one of the previous program “Project Gamma”. It has the activation button, the refresh button and the hide to systray button. It also has a nice picture of the hatter enemy. The layout is very simple, you don’t find yourself being confused about which button to press or what to do. The program is reasonably small so it probably won’t cause a disturbance by covering up your whole screen. This is a definite download for anyone, since seeker holes tend to be quite common and pose a great nuisance. No CTF player should duel in a seeker infested level with this program not turned on. This is a must download for everyone, and I’m surprised this wasn’t made before. My verdict is that this is a very effective program and is guaranteed to help in CTF duels to make them as fun as possible. It does what it is suppose to, so it deserves the 9.5 im giving it. Amazing work, I can’t wait to see what program idea you will come up with next, Eagle!

Ok, here goes:

GAMEPLAY/LAYOUT: The gameplay here is pretty smooth. Ramps are included, nice and spacey, well balanced etc. There could of been a ramp near the blue base since you have to jump onto that metal block to get the flag, but it’s alright the way it is. I don’t like that open box around 5,39 though, since it sometimes get’s annoying if you accidentally missed the spring. Other than that, the layout is nice and basic, don’t see much wrong with it, except it seems a bit simple to me.
Pros: smooth gameplay, balanced layout
Cons: 5,39, feels simplistic.
Rating:8.2

EYECANDY: Cell did a good job here. The bg doesnt use those commonly used mountains and stars, but uses the grey metal blocks instead. Though they sometimes get a bit mixed up with the layer 4 and 5 grey blocks and may confuse you at first. There id a variety of tiles used for the ground, and lots of detail in the level.
Pros: Good eyecandy
Cons: Eyecandy might take a bit to get used to.
Rating:8.4

PICKUP PLACEMENT: There is one carrot, full energy placed here;it is placed in the middle of the level and is well positioned. The ammo is also creativly placed in little zig-zags and looks decent and well placed. The powerups, there are 3;they are RF, seeker and pepper. Seeker is placed in the middle bottom and I have no problem with it. RF is placed closer to the red base and pepper is placed closer to the blue base. Though they both are used for long range and are quite useful in the level, red has a bigger advantage because the RF powerup does 2 damage yet the pepper does 1.
Pros: Great creativity and well placed.
Cons: Red has RF, Blue has pepper. RF>Pepper.
Rating:8.3

Fun facor: I didn’t have THAT much fun playing this, but it had my attention for a while and is pretty fun depending on the situation.
Pros: Can be really fun.
Cons: Not as fun as I hoped.
Rating:8.2

OVERALL (Not an average): A decent level which would be good for dueling. Different eyecandy, balanced layout, good gameplay and well placed pickups. Probably will be hosted several times.
Pros: Good level.
Cons: Some minor things mentioned before in the review.
Rating:8.4

OVERALL: About 8.2 or 8.5 and a download reccomendation, nice work!

Waz made a non TSF tileset, now I can review it.

TILES: There are some stone blocks which are meant to be used for ground, bunch of columns for decorations and walls, soem stone crystals which I think are meant for eyecandy, some cool looking gargoyles. There are also backround bricks, poles and destruct blocks, rainbow colored shields, some well made curtains, exit signs, rain, a sweet backround, and some other small stuff. There are the basic tiles (destruct and trigger blocks, hooks and vines, poles, etc), though there arent any sucker tube tiles (or maybe those wooden things are suppose to be sucker tubes), but the tileset basically has everything needed to make a decent level. Did I mention the backround is amazing?
Pros: Has everything needed, amazing backround, cool looking gargoyles etc.
Cons: Could have more tiles.
Rating: 8.2

COLOR: The color here doesn’t have a large variety, but hey, its a castle tileset! There are some nice shades of red mixed with some other colors for the mountains and the bg, and there are a lot of multi-colored shields. The destruct blocks are colored well, and what I think is suppose to be used for the sucker tube (those wooden stuff) look good as well. There is a nice dark purple color used to decorate the curtains, and every other thing is either a brownish color, or grey or black(with some red for gargoyle eyes). Some of you may want more color in this tileset, but how it is right now is good enough for me.
Pros: Coloring is great and makes sense.
Cons: Not as colorful as some other tilesets;to much grey and brown.
Rating:8

ANIMATIONS AND STUFF: The only downfall in this tileset that bothers me the most is the lacking of animations. There are some red eyes that animate in those little gargoyle heads, and of course the destruct blocks are made to animate, and thats all, unless you make your shields animate, which would look strange. Castle tilesets usually don’t have many things you can animate, but Waz could of used his imagination and added some other animations (like blinking gargoyles, or moving bricks or something)
Pros: Has animations
Cons: Could of had a lot more
Rating: 7.5

MASKING: At first you would think you would spot some masking bugs because its hard to mask gargoyles good and stuff, but the masking is actually good. The gargoyles are masked well and you cant get stuck in them or anything. The ground tiles and wall tiles are masked well. The only thing is that I don’t think those gargoyle heads should of been masked (when they arent in the wall).
Pros: Good masking of stuff
Cons: Nothing really special in the masking.
Rating:8

USERFRIENDLY: User friendly enough for me. The tiles are well placed in the tileset (i.e ground tiles are placed with ground tiles, columns placed with other columns etc). Nothing really makes you say “Gee, I wonder where the tile that goes with this tile is”. The destruct blocks could of been placed more closer to each other, but its ok/
Pros: People making levels with this would be able to understand how to use it.
Cons: Nothing really major.
Rating:8.2

OVERALL (not an average): The tileset is solid good and basic. It has all the basic stuff, good coloring and masking etc. It’s not one of those groundbreaking tilesets like Agama’s or some of Disguise’s and Blade’s (sorry if I missed you) but its a solid good tileset. I may consider making a level with this, since it has all the requirements and looks like it will produce a good level. Therefore, I like it.
Pros: Good tileset that is just waiting to be used to make a good level.
Cons: Not one of those “OMG WOW AMAZING” things.
Rating:8.5

OVERALL RATING: 8. A tileset which should be added to any jj2 folder, and gets a download reccomendation from me. Good Job!

Sadly, my rating agrees more with BlurredD’s than the others. The layout is too platformish, and platform levels aren’t usually as fun and strategic as non-platformish levels. The ammo itself is a bit sparce and poorly placed. 4 powerups is also too much for this kind of level, and some of the powerups are a bit close together. I despise the carrot placement as well, only 2 +1 carrots which are both near the base. there is also one at the top, but it isnt noticable much. There are also fullenergies, but you can’t reach them. Eyecandy is alright. I don’t like the coin warp idea either. Instead of overflowing the level with silver coins, you can add some gold coins, but I’d reccomend to take out the coin warp. The CTF placement is alright.

My verdict is that the level is suffering from several flaws. Nothing here is really outstanding, and the level could use some improvement. This gets a 5.7 from me and ranks about average. Download reccomendation? Maybe..But I wouldn’t host this.

Ok, a sonic conversion by Spaztic. Unfortunately, I do not have sonic so I can’t review this as a jj1 conversion since I cannot compare this tileset to the actual one in the game. I’ll try to review it effiecently.

APPEARANCE: The tileset first appears to look ok. Nothing really spectacular. The marble ground tiles, Im not too fond of (but that isnt technically Spaztic’s fault. The backround looks realistic, more realistic than the rest of the tileset, and it doesn’t fit in as much to the theme. There are some different settings (different layer 5 bricks, some different wall tiles) and they resolve around one specific thing, an ancient marble made place. Anyways, It appears to look ok.
Pros: Looks ok, nothing seriously wrong or annoying with it.
Cons: Some tiles don’t look too good.
Rating:7.8

COLOR: The color here looks nice in some tiles, and not so nice in others. I like how the columns look, they have a color variety and look realistic, same with some of the layer 5. The poles look a bit strange, and there isn’t that much of a color variety compared to some other colorful tilesets. But the color is alright and mostly textured and nice looking, and I can handle it.
Pros: Nice basic good coloring.
Cons: Not too good compared to some other more colorful tilesets.
Rating:8.2

INCLUDED TILES: Well, it has destruct blocks, signs (arrow, not text or exit) shooting arrows, spikes, poles, backround eyecandy, some foreground (those big columns CAN be used for Foreground), a backround, layer 5, different tile variety etc etc. Though it would of been nice to have a text and exit sign and possibly sucker tubes, there is a great amount of valubable tiles included and enough to make a good level with.
Pros: Enough tiles to make a decent quality level.
Cons: Missing a few minor things.
Rating: 8.5

USERFRIENDLY: To me, it looks userfriendly enough. Not the easiest high quality tileset to use, but its easy to get used to and the tiles are placed decently and logically in the tileset.
Pros: Userfriendly enough for some people
Cons: May cause trouble to others.
Rating:7.9

Masking: Well, the first thing on my mind is that I was surprised that jazz/spaz was able to run up those steep hills so quickly. There are some invisible tiles, and the tileset is masked nicely as far as I can see.
Pros: Good masking
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 8.5

OVERall (not an average): The tileset looks ok, is colored nicely, so-so userfriendly and masked decently. I must say i think it is a great sonic conversion (even though I haven’t seen the actual tileset, the conversion looks decent). Its worth a download and can produce good quality levels.
Pros: Can produce good levels, masked nicely, colored nicely, usefriendly ok.
Cons: Not too spectacular or great.
Rating: 8

Final rating: 8.15 which is rounded to an 8.2 and a download reccomendation. Good work on the conversion, Spaztic!

I dont have enough time for a long review so a short one will have to do:
The level is kinda nice. Layout may be a bit strange and I don’t like it all that well, and at first the powerups were very difficult for me to find, so I cant imagine a new player dueling in this level who has never seen it before. Gameplay is ok. Eyecandy is also ok, nothing very new or special about it. I would say that a person who knows this level the most would have a greater advantage in a duel, due to the fact that there are no clues to where the warps and powerups are. But the level is worth checking, and Scizor improved it a lot from its original state. You should download this to see it or try it out.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that little camping is involved. For some this may be good, but for others like me who like to camp, it isnt. Where the powerups are hidden is also a dead end. You can easily be trapped in there with another player covering the exit and shooting. Though finding all the powerups was fun, I think I would of liked it better if they were in the open. To comment more on the eyecandy, it is a bit boring. Your basic colonius eyecandy, more or less. This could of easily gotten a higher rating if the eyecandy was improved a bit. As for the ammo, I find it placed ok, I usually go for the powerups cause the one who has them has the advantage. Also, about the warps. I don’t know why they are there, and there is no hint pointing to where they are located. I would of thought of them as ok if they were more efficently placed and had some hints pointing to where they are. There are several other cons in this level, but they dont damage the rating much. The level is good for a first one, and with just a little improving you can reach an 8 or a 9 with your levels. Anyways, 7 for now, and a download reccomendation. Cool, Im in the credits =D!
Anyways, lets begin with this long review.

Firstly, all the tilesets have been modified and enhanced in some way so the player can experience full play without running into any tileset bugs.

Now, the review starts:

Lost in Ancient Ruins:

Eyecandy: The eyecandy was real spiffy here. Every part of this level has neat eyecandy in it, for instance you see those backround blocks everywhere and those vines and all. The eyecandy is remarkable and gets a solid 9.6 from me.
Pros: Its basic and great
Cons: None
Rating:9.6

Layout: The layout here was very well done. There were lots of passages and the level wasn’t very straightforward, which is good since the player will have more to explore. There were some nice secrets here, and there were many too, which may have the player carefully searching every wall and floor for hidden passages to hidden secrets.
Pros: Has lots of passages, nice secrets etc etc.
Cons: None that are worth mentioning.
Rating: 9.5

Enemy Placement: This was also nicely done. Enemies were placed nicely and added some difficulty to the level. The choice of enemies was also very logical and nicely done.
Pros: Nicely placed
Cons: No major ones
Rating:8.8

Pickup Placement: It was also very well done. The pickups were well placed and well hidden. Some are very nicely hidden while others are placed well in the open. The food may have been a bit overused(I got 2 rushes), but that can be affected by the large size of this level,Though I dont mind getting sugar rushes (They make the music start playing if it stopped =))some people might mind that the food is a bit overused. The coins were nicely placed, I did manage to find 50 but thats because I was lucky and accidentally found some secrets.
Pros: Nicely placed and hidden.
Cons: Some things may have been a bit overused.
Rating:8.6

Music choice: Logical and good.

Final rating for Lost in Ancient Ruins: 9.125
Final Comments: A great start to the pack! =)

Construction Site:

Eyecandy: Firstly, Im glad you used the night version because I think it tends to look better than the day one. The eyecandy here, just like the previous level, is nicely done. Lots of backround eyecandy and some foreground as well. The eyecandy looks realistic and nice, makes the level great to look at.
Pros: Very well done.
Cons: Lacked some more foreground.
Rating: 8.9

Layout: Just as in the previous level, I enjoyed the layout. Though it doesnt have as many routes and passages as Lost In Ancient Ruins, it will still amuse the player in many ways. The secret placement is also nice too. One problem I spotted was around pos 228, 30, If you go under the spikes to get the pickups, the sucker tubes on the bottom wont let you out, so you’ll be trapped.
Pros: Good layout
Cons: The one around 228,30.
Rating:9

Enemy Placement: The enemy choice here was good too. Lizards, Suckers and Labrats go well with the theme of this level. They are nicely placed and add some difficulty to the level. Not much more to say.
Pros: Good choice, good placement
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 8.9

Pickup placmenet: Lets start with coins: Coins were placed nicely (I was able to get 49) though some were too high up. They were nicely hidden, soem where out in the open but they required skill and strategy to get. Food wansnt as overused (I only got one sugar rush here) and ammo was nicely placed
Pros: Well placed
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.1

Music was nicely chosen.

Final rating for Construction Site: 8.975.

Additional comments: The level was nicely done, not my favorite but still fun to play.

Stomping on the stones:

Eyecandy: The eyecandy was nice. I didn’t seem to mind that the tileset had no layer 6 and 7 eyecandy. The backround grey rock tiles were well placed and were great as the eyecandy. The eyecandy was very simple, but was very nice as well.
Pros: Good looking eyecandy, probably one of the best or the best eyecandy with the rocks tileset.
Cons: No major ones (I dont mind that the set has no backroubnd eyecandy)
Rating:9

Layout: The layout=me likes. The layout was nice and fun, sometimes it took place outside, sometimes it took place in a rock cave. There were many nice secrets and the layout was really nice here, I enjoyed it a lot!
Pros: Great Layout
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.7

Enemy Placment: Enemy placement was nice. The enemies were nicely chosen, though I may be getting tired of seeing those float lizards everywhere. The enemies were nicely placed, and made the level a lot more difficult.
Pros: Nicely placed
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.4

Pickup Placement: The pickups were nicely placed. Though I did get 2 rushes here (mostly because of the high amount of food I got in the previous level). The gems, carrots, food and coins and ammo was nicely placed. Coins were nicely hidden, but it was possible to get enough for the coin warp if you really try and look around.
Pros: Nicely placed
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9.2

Music was also good. (The reason I’m not giving out ratings for the music is because it isnt new, Blade has used it for these tilesets before.

Final Rating For Stomping on the stones: 9.325
Additional comments: One of my favorite levels, good job!

The Great Glacier:

Eyecandy: As I looked at the eyecandy, its like WOW. Eyecandy everywhere! This shows how amazing glacier eyecandy can really be!
Pros: Great!
Cons: None to speak of
Rating:9.8

Layout: The layout here reminded me of the one in the Aztec level. Many routes and passages, which is good since there is more exploration involved. Secrets nicely hidden and spikes nicely placed. Overall great layout
Pros: Nice layout
Cons: None to speak of
Rating: 9.5

Enemy Placement: Enemies here nicely chosen and nicely placed. Not much more to say.
Pros: Nicely done
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.1

Pickup Placmenet: Food nicely placed, I did get 2 rushes (One mostly because of the amount of food received in the previous level). Gems and ammo also nicely placed. Coins were a bit more difficult for me to find this time, but they were placed well nonetheless.
Pros: Good placmenet
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9.3

Music was my favorite.

Final rating for The Great Glacier: 9.425

Desert Detour:

Eyecandy: The eyecandy in this level was very much like in the Glacier level, due to the similarity of the tilesets. Though I felt Glacier had a bit more eyecandy, the eyecandy here stays realistic, basic, and enjoyable. One small thing I noticed around pos 132, 45, whenever I go on the blue spring I see something blue (presumably another blue spring covered by layer 3) stick out of the wall. This isnt anything major though, but it looks strange.
Pros: Basic eyecandy
Cons: Could of been a bit more, but right now its ok. The pos 132,45 thing.
Rating: 9.0

Layout: The layout is also nicely done. There are many small routes leading away from the main one which usually contain goodies and all. The secrets are still here as well.
Pros: Good layout
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.1

Enemy Placement: The enemy choice is logic here, choosing the enemies which most fit in the desert. Though I can’t say Helmnuts belong in the desert too much, its hard choosing enemies to perfectly fit for such different locations.
Pros:Nice choice and placement
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9

Pickup Placement: The pickup placement was nice here as well. The food wasnt that overused, and coins nicely hidden. Crates and barrels placed in good places, and I like where that extra life was placed near the ending.
Pros: Nice placement
Cons; No major ones
Rating: 9.4

Music was ok, at least it looped.

Final Rating for Desert Detour: 9.125 (whats with the .125 all the time?)

Additional comments: Level was nice to play and looked nice. A good addition to the pack!

Grey Matter Adventure:

Eyecandy: Eyecandy here was ok. The set was also missing a backround, but the pipes and backround metal tiles sort of made up for that. Nice secrets and all used with the eyecandy and it just looked nice.
Pros: Nice looking eyecandy
Cons: No major ones aside that this set is also missing a backround (layer 6&7 eyecandy)
Rating:9

Layout: The layout here is nice and basic, having multiple places to explore. There is also more jazz and spaz routes in this level than any of the previous ones (and maybe the after ones as well). Layout was nice, nothing wrong with it, though you can hack into the jazz or spaz routes using simple TNT.
Pros: Nice layout
Cons: No major ones (The TNT thing goes for all the spaz and jazz routes in any level as long as you have spare TNT).
Rating:9

Enemy Placmenet: The enemy choice here was logical and nice, just likein the other levels. Thankfully, there were no floating lizards here (I was getting tired of seeing them in every level). The enemies were placed well and were difficult to destroy without getting injured at times.
Pros: Nice choice, nice placement, no float lizards =)
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.5

Pickup Placement: The pickup placement here was good. Plenty of spare coins, nicely placed food and ammo and gems etc etc. I had no problem with it
Pros: Nice placement
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.3

Music was nice and fit the tileset.

Final rating for Grey Matter Adventure: 9.2 (No .125, woot!)

Additional comments: One of my favorite levels, fun to play!

A Maze Made out of Wood:

Eyecandy: The eyecandy here was nice. I like how you used the wood tiles in layer 3 to hide some secret passages and stuff. There was bg eyecandy, and it looked nice. The eyecandy here was good, not my favorite but good enough for me to like and give it a high rating.
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.2

Layout: The layout here was very well done, lots of good hidden secrets and passsages and lots of places to explore.
Pros: great layout
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9.6

Enemy Placement: Enemy choice was ok, not as good as in some of the other levels, but it was ok.
Pros: It was ok
Cons: It could of been better
Rating:8.5

Pickup placmenet: The pickups were nicely placed and hidden in secrets. Coin were nicely scattered as well. Food was well placed and so was ammo, and gems.
Pros: Good Placmenet
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9.2

Overall rating for A Maze Made Out Of Wood: 9.125

Autumn leaves:

Eyecandy: The eyecandy here was quite basic and meets the standards of blade’s eyecandy quality. It looks nice and pleasing to look at just like the eyecandy in the rest of the levels, but there isnt anything new or amazing about it.
Pros: Nice eyecandy
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9

Layout: THe layout is ok, some things I found a bit surprising or strange, and sometimes I didn’t notice the pits of spikes, but its nice.
Pros: Good layout
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9

Enemy Placement: The enemy placement here was alright. It was a difficult level to play (mostly due to the many spikes but also having to do with the enemies) and difficult levels are good to play (as long as they aren’t too difficult). The enemies fit alright, though I expected to see some insects or maybe even a ‘witch’ enemy in this level.
Pros: Nice difficulty, nice choice
Cons: I expected some other enemies which werent used yet.
Rating:8.8

Pickup Placement: Pickups were placed nicely. Some stuff I had no idea how to reach, but other things were nicely placed. Coins were nicely placed etc etc.
Pros: Nice placement
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9.2

Final rating for Autumn leaves: 9

A Base in Outer Space:

Eyecandy: The eyecandy was really good here. I’ve used this set and its a good set for eyecandy, though difficult to use. Blade mastered this tileset and has shown us what it is capable of, and how nice it can look. I really liked the eyecandy here.
Pros: Great eyecandy
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.6

Layout: The layout here was among my favorites. Quite complicated and multi routed in many places and fun to explore. Some trigger crates and jazz-spaz routes and stuff. Even in the chasm of spaz Blade made sure if you were jazz and accidentally (or purposely) fell in you were able to get out. Anyways, great layout!
Pros: Great layout
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 9.6

Enemy Placement: Enemies were ok chosen (saddsdsdf, more lizards!!) and they were ok placed. They did make the level more fun to play, and stuff.
Pros: Nice enemies etc.
Cons: No major ones.
Ratung:9

Pickup Placement: Pickups were ok placed (though they were overused again). They were nicely hidden and nicely placed. I didnt have much problems in this category.
Pros: Nicely done
COns: No major ones (the overusion thing goes for all the levels)
Rating: 9.2

Final Rating for A base In outer Space: 9.35.

Arabian Oasis Ambush:
Eyecandy: The eyecandy here was also among my favorites, great use of layers and the tileset tiles. Nice stuff and all, really great use of the Oasis tileset!
Pros: Great eyecandy
Cons: NO major ones
Rating:9.7

Layout: Wow, a colossal level! Anyways, it turned out to be a bit shorter trhan I thought, but still long, fun and enjoyable. Lots of nice secrets and mulitple routes to have you exploring every inch of this gigantic level. Also, there were some very interesting secrets (One that I found had spike balls which you had to jump on and climb up to an extra life and ammo, the other which was categorized as impossible, and some others)
Pros: Nicely done
Cons: No major ones
Rating:9.4

Enemy Placement: Enemies chosen ok (Though I thought there would be some Fencers and Fatchicks because of the village like appearance). I would of hoped for some differently chosen enemies, but its ok with the ones it has currently. They were nicely placed etc etc etc.
Pros: Nicely placed, chosen ok
Cons: Choice of enemies could of been better
Rating:8.6

Pickup Placement: Lots of goodies and stuff here, and they were nicely placed. Though I think there were a bit too much powerups in the coin warp place(I couldnt get enough coins anyways, I was 10 coins short). Anyways, good placement
Pros: Good placement
COns: No major ones
Rating:9.1

Final Rating for Arabian Oasis Ambush: 9.2

Well, this is a great pack, with some cons which I will mention later. Great level design and amazing eyecandy here. Blade has produced a great and satisfying pack for us to have a fun time playing. This is exactly why I supported the progress of this pack in the first place, because I knew it had potential, and Blade used that potential into making a bunch of great SP levels. There are downsides, such as I got stuck 3 times in this pack (Once in Construction Site in that place that needs fixing, once accidentally in Autumn leaves and once in Arabian Oasis Ambush). The enemies are also repetetive and there isnt a great variety. The pickups are all slightly overused, though it doesnt disturb me it may be a dislike to some other players.

Finally, the final moment when I announce the final rating of this pack. Lost in Ancient Ruins: 9.125 Construction Site: 8.975 Stomping on the Stones: 9.325 The Great Glacier: 9.425 Desert Detour: 9.125 Grey Matter Adventure: 9.2 A maze Made out of wood: 9.125 Autumn Leaves: 9 A base In outer space: 9.35 Arabian Oasis Ambush: 9.2 FINAL RATING: 9.185, upgraded to a 9.2! Great Pack Blade! My review is finally finished! =) ~Blackraptor

This is a fun gametype idea especially for hosting. It has very many entertaining levels and i personally like this, some of you may not, but i like this gametype.

Edit: Since Violet and Trafton made such long reviews, i will too.

Survivor, being named that because it is more catchy then the ground force name, is played in treasure mode. There must be 1 controller, the person who hosted the server should usually be the controller, unless he or she lets others. First, you must sidekick to the left to get into a box. There is a morph near the place you must sidekick in. The morph generates, and is meant for all jazz players to shoot and become spaz. This is because the survivor levels can only be played as Spaz, not jazz, because spaz falls faster, which will make the game end quicker. When in the box, the controller quickly scampers to a secret passage in the top left, gets the coin, triggers the scenery, then stomps the crates if all the players are in the box. You must not enter the secret passage when flashing, itscrews it up, there also must not be more than one controller, or it also gets screwed. BTW: Dont be surprised if you get error saying de\ivide by 0. Diz told me this is caused by bridges, and this error has nothing to do with the levels themselves, it just like popping up in any bridge filled level. Once everyone is in the box, the controller stomps the crates, which makes the ground in the box collapse, making the players fall into a warp below.b This happens to the controller as well. Then the ground reappears, so newjoiners cant play. This is good, because ppl will keep rejoining when they are out to keep playing hoping to be the last one left, hence the name, survivor. The warp leads to a battle field. The ground at the verybottom has a warp which takes you to a box and you keep spinning in circles, if you fall and warp to the spinning box, you are out and loose. You must avoid this, so you can be the survivor. The blocks you stand on can all be destroyed if you shoot them, except the walls, which prevent you from falling off the level. You must try shooting the blocks which the other players stand on, and try to make as many go out, so youll be the lastone left. That is basically what you do. When the controller, or person with the coin goes out, he or she warps by a special coin warp to a place covered by layer 3. There, he she gets a blue gem, and there is an area end of level nearby. NOTE YOU MUsT SET TREASURE HUNT, NUMBER OF GEMS TO WIN 10 OK PPL THNX IN ADVANCE. Then, when there is only one person in the arena (the controller could find that out by asking who is still in and who is out) the controller goes to the exit, wins the level, and then the next survivor level comes on and u do the same thing.
OK my level review
ONE MORE THING BTW: Dont be surprised if suddenly 100 tnt crates fall down and blow up seversl bricks that ppl are standing on an make them fall out, its part of the game ok.
Survivor 1 aka thermal scorch

This level uses the 7th lava fall tileset, and its basically oneof the average survivor levels. It has some RF ammo and such for more fun. It has toaster ammo, which is good for blasting close blocks, and bouncer ammo, which is VERY useful in survivor levels, youll find out why as you play. This is basically one of the average survivor levels, nothing new or interesting about it except that its fun. The eyecandy is a bit interesting, but nothing really special. This ranks as an average level. Music fits, but could of been better. Another thing, though this has to do with the entire pack I thought I’d just put it here: I like the idea of putting gems in the sucker sqyuare when you’re out (I dont recall that being in the previous survivor)

Survivor 2 aka System Clogged
The mez tileset survivor level, it has more different tiles to blast than the thermal scorch level, which the only blocks you blast are the grey ones with nails. This one, has TNT ammo, which i must say to me, its the best and funnest weapon to use in the whole survivor pack. IT blast many blocks at once, therefore causing the blocks to go away quicker. Eyecandy is fine.

Survivor 3 aka Waste Drain
Hmm, a nwe version of blades wasteland tileset, except the only thing added was layer 6 and 7 eyecandy, not bad. This level, is again average, TNT is inlcuded, i dont got nothing more to say about this though. Note: When I try vieiwing the new version of this, I get application errors, therefore I am unable to review it.

Survivor 4 aka Heaven Sent
OMG BLURREDD USED HEAVEN TILESET, NEVER IN MY LIFE I WOULD OF THOUGHT………..
well, it has a variety of destruct tiles, and is more expanded in width, and contrassed in hieght. THe warping ground looks nicer here, and this even though its also and average survivor level, has better eyecandy then the others, maybe its because of the tileset quality. In the newer version the already nice looking eyecandy is enhanced even more. I also like the music.

Survivor 5 aka No escape
A strange name for a level like this, it uses Skulg’s lava lamp tileset, but like everyone said, it uses no lava lamps. The flash bacround just WOAH, but i use it as an advantage. While the players’ eyes are recovering from the flash,i quickly blast the blocks they are standing on >:D IM evil@ In the newer version the flash is gone, which is better for your vision I guess.

Survivor 6 aka Electrical Wipe out
Hmm, a non custom tileset, tubelectric, predictable name, to short in width, springs to help you..I like this level, although i suck at it. Whenever someone wipes out all the blocks the floating springs are the only support. Everyone keeps shooting me and i cant hit the springs while im flashing so i die all the time. I think its a tad harder for me to survive in this level. The level is quite tall, so It may take longer.

Survivor 7 aka Polar chill

This is one of the better ones, the destruct blocks have a big variety and such, the tileset looks cool, well, i cant describe this more except say that this is the better one, and it uses the ground force tileset, by ET i think, and such, i like this one, nuff said. The eyecandy and level isnt enhanced very much in the newer version, the only thing that I think might have been added was the foreground snow, but Im not sure.

Survivor 8 aka Tri-sides
A level using the Cyberspaz tileset, this one is a bit different. In the arena, not only can you not touch the ground, but the walls are lethal as well. Yes, infact the walls have the same warp target as the ground and if u touch the walls your automatically out, so this survivor level is a bit more, how u say this, extreme. Beware. But its still fun anyways. It doesnt take very long, and its chaotic. The freeze enemies is very evil here.

Survivor 9 aka Diablo’s Outlook
A level using the Medivo tileset, its abit different as well. There are 2 arenas which u start from, both only about 20 tiles wide. They are linked togehter at the bottom, but only at the bottom. Though this is a new idea, im not sure if its good, for if there is only 3 ppl playing, 2 will warp in one tower hysterically shooting each other while the 3rd person warps to an empty tower having no care in the world waiting while the 2 others kill each other so he or she can be the survivor. This is very evil and fun, though its good that there are more crates falling from the sky so that if there is a person all alone in a tower, they will be blasted lower and be part of the action. I have grown to like this level.

Survivor 10 aka Uncharted Territory
This is a level using Blades space tileset, there are 3 different warp targets to arive in the arena in, and you arive in midair and start falling. I think once i got out and not even touched the ground, because i was falling into a space with no blocks*stupid me* and i was the first one out. There is a variety of destruct tiles here, and the level is fairly wide.

Survivor 11 aka 26 second frustration

A level suing MezmemerIze by Dethman i think, im not sure, when you get into the arena, you start off in a box which u have to shoot to break open. Also, the walls have the riccochet event on them, so you could shoot at the wall and the bullets will riccochet off them. Everything else is basically average, except the name, which is……….well…………Strange, or so to speak. The backround eyecandy is ok, and there is a variety of desturct tiles.

Survivor 12 aka Insidious Illusion
A level using BlurredD’s own tileset, Castle 2, i didnt really like this one. It was well, to confusing, thedestruct blocks being the backround o course, and i just didnt like this much, its an average survivor level that i didnt like. It wasnt very tall, but it was fairly wide. The destruct blocks are very creative though they may confuse you at first. I have changed my opinion about this, and think of it as ok.

Survivor 13 aka Safety Precaution

OMG BLURREDD 13 IS BAD LUCK NUMBER U FEIND. anyways this tielset is by ET, and the survivor level is just way different. Its VERY small, about 20 tiles high and 50 or 60 tiles wide. There are floating red springs above the warp zone, which u can only loose if being shot, because u cannot jump on springs when flashing. Though small, this isnt that bad, and it is more of a quicker survivor level, which takes less time to beat. Before I thought that if you had the coin and where the only one left in, you couldnt skip to the next level, but you can by getting hit by the lasers or the delayed spring, which was added in the new version. Im glad the delayed spring was added in, since it doesnt hurt the gameplay at all, and the lasers take forever, and they might miss you.

Survivor 14 aka Mechanical clock chaos

Another tubelectric level, again. There are some cool effects here, like when u start those moving pipes, cool. It an original survivor level, so i cant say much about it. This is a tall one though, but not very wide. The backround is cool, with that moving orb or whatever it is. The main key in this level is the bouncers, since you need them to reach the TNT, springs and crate.

Survivor 15 aka Chain Reaction

The reason i liked this one is becauseof the tileset, and thats its wide, not tall, i like wide levels more, because tall ones take to long. Well, there are more bircks on the sides than in the middle just to tell. Also, I like the effect of how you fall along with the crates, and how airboarding jazzes come out.

Survivor 16 aka Vacant mine shaft

I also liked this one, it uses the mining operatino tileset. There are 3 turtle censored at the top (There are 4 in the improved version), which when u shoot down destroy a heck of a lot of blocks, and thats fun and gives nad advantage to the ppl at the top and a disadvantage for ppl on the bottom. There are lots of destruct tiles here, and the backround is better than most. This is definately the level with the most turtle censored, and its fun to play.

Survivor 17 aka and insidious illusion 2
Using the battle ships conversion, this isnt that bad. It uses backround tiles like the insidious illusion 1 does, but this time its a bit better. Maybe because of the tileset. There are way less destruct tiles than usual, which makes this level quicker to win/loose.
The stars in the BG are cool and the level looks nice.

Survivor 18 aka Mean Green Elevator Machine

Woah, probablt the longest name, uses the j2lc alien space lab tileset, which i mistook the creator for Disguise, but ppl told me quist made it so.. This one is one of the smallest, but hardest of all survivor levels. You are trapped in a fairly small box, which all sides you touch cause you to be out, woah thats hard. But its also fun and challenging, so overally i liked this one. Though the ground tiles are oftenly mistaking with the backround due to similar color which may lead to dangerous moves. There is a lot of eyecandy, but all of it is the same color: Green.

Survivor 19 aka Crater Maker

Space Warbase tileset-Disguise
I liked this levekl and the tileset it uses. The bomb crate idea was interesting, that you can wipout more blocks at one time. The destruct blocks are yellow, and the name of this level was one of the most creative. Other than all that, this is your basic survivor level wihich i liked. The music is great and fits the theme. I noticed more added eyecandy (Or it just stuck out more) and I like the cool BG effects. The crate idea was fun and interesting, instead of falling crates the crates are already there and when youi shoot them they cause a chain reaction etc. Another new idea.

Survivor 20 aka Tower of death

The last and probably around the hardest. BlurredD wanted to make the last survivoer level, different form all the rest. The arena is very big, although the blocks are moslty found only in the middle formed as a tower. They collapse over time because of special tricks blurredD used(lasers, and to be the survivor, you must continuesly climb out to get to the top. Once youve reached fairly high hieght, the arena gets smaller and the blocks begin to take up all the arena, not just the middle. Thid one probably having th most blocks, is the most funnest, differentest, and most effort was put into it. Thats why blurreDD saved it for last. It uses Skulg’s where bad rabbits go tileset btw. Also, let me mention that in my playing with FS (FiresworD) I found this level EXTREMELY fun and addictive to play, Amazing work BlurredD! It may seem hard at first, since you have to think fast, but then it gets really fun, you climbing up to avoid being lasered and having blocks destroyed. The finalists (The ones who manage to get to the top) will fight out in a small arena high up and to summarize this, I’d say that its really fun.

Well, hope u enjoyed reading my review, it was probably the longest i’ve made, evne thpugh not as long as Violet’s or Traftons. In conclusion this is a fun creative pack reccomended for EVERYONE. It has a good new idea, and is veery good. My conclusion is……..

JAZZ JACKRABBIT 2 ROX SO GO PLAY IT NOW CYA

~Blackraptor aka Blacky

Now, for the 5 new ones.

Cursed Pharaoh Ruins: I found this level interesting to play. The eyecandy and everything is good, though I found it could use some more TNT (Tnt rocks in survivor). I found this level good, like the rest of the survivor levels, though it unfortunately doesn’t stick out like Tower of death. It looks awesome though, and has that realistic nightish feeling.

Intergalactic Space carrots: The name actually sounds interesting, like a black and white movie made in the 80ties. The level is also good, it fascinated me (great bg) and it was just fun to play, I felt like I was playing a true well made survivor level. Unlike Trafton, I actually liked this level.

Bathtub Catastrophe: Well,BlurredD managed to make another great and unusual level out of a basic epic tileset. Firstly, the starting did make me think it took place in a sewer, but then that all changed when I entered the arena. I actually beleived i was in a bathtub (which is good, since its the levels theme). I had some fun playing this level, and liked the tile placement, eyecandy and that water effect. Another great level. There is not muchTNT here, but I dont mind, since the TNT would be used to hack into the powerups covered by certain ammo blocks.

Devastation: I didn’t like this level as much as the other new ones, but it was still awesome. The level has lots of crates in it, but not much bricks. It only consists of a few bricks near the bottom, (about 3-5 rows, approx.). The level was ok, it was different, but I didn’t like it much, which doesn’t mean that you wont.

The sludge grounds: Firstly, let me comment on the good variety of destruct blocks, instead of having plain and simple blocks. The warp on the top did get me, I had no idea it was there. The level did appeal me, and Ill comment more on it after further play. After further play I found the warps on the top a great and new idea, since there are springs there, but if you get shot you arent affected by the springs and hit the warps. This is a bit like safety precaution, but the springs are on the top. I also like how you enter the level.

New level comments: Most of the levels here were spaced theme, and I had no problem with that, since I like space. I was amazed at how inspired and well made these levels where, and when playing I had that ‘good feeling’. I like how interestingly the tilesets were used, and it was great to play these.

I’ll give this a whooping 9.5, which I dont give much these days, and a great download recc. The new levels were amazingly great, and the whole pack was plain awesome. You can have many strategies while playing survivor (I have a good strategy that helps me win when I play, though Im not going to say it out loud) So not only is survivor well made, cool and fun, but its also strategic as well. This definately makes it into my top 10 downloads!
Great Work BlurredD!

Wow, my longest review =)

One question: In Safety Precaution, how do you skip to the next level without using any programs if you’re the player with the gold coin, and you’re also the survivor, those springs do not let you fall and there isnt anyone to injure you. Im going to look for a way to fix this, my rating stays 9.5 but may be decreased to 9.2 due to the minor problem.
Edit: Thanks for telling me this, I missed this in my tests, but thanks for telling me. I have also made updates to my review since you want me to include all the extra new stuff you added in (That was included in my mark in the first place, BlurredD, I just didnt add it into my review which I did now)[This review has been edited by Blackraptor]

Well, looking at the tileset it looks quite nice. The ground tiles look extremely complex and so does the backround eyecandy and stuff. Skeleton animation nicely made. The sucker tube looks a bit cutoff when it turns. Has some greyish backround tiles, backround is interesting. The theme is quite new and interesting, and unique tilesets are good. This is definately worth a download, not the best tileset but one you should have in your jj2 folder. Apologies for the short review, I am not in a long review mood now and the past few days. Final rating is 8.2 and a download reccomendation.

Ok, I admit that colored names get quite annoying in CTF, and this program does a good job of fixing it(as far as I could tell). But why rate it 10? It doesn’t do that much exept change CTF names, which isn’t that much. Though it is good to have this around, it isnt the “perfect program” or something. I still think this would be quite handy though. I can’t rate this because I am unable to host a CTF level (any level for a matter of fact) so I can’t see how it works. Rating will stay N/A until I get a close glimpse of exactly what this does.

Ok, since I am able to host, I might as well edit this review sooner or later and give this a rating. The layout of the program is basic and simple. Even a 4 year old can understand it. Plus there is even a picture of a lizard on it for extra detail. Though the program does what it is suppose to and works great, I find that I don’t really have much use for it since not too many people have colored names. Though it is good to have this on your hardrive because you may find that you will need it sooner or later, and it is a good addition to any CTF lover. Though I’m not giving it as high as a 9.5 or a 10 because I find I rarely need it and it doesn’t do much else other than bleach names, it does what it is suppose to, and is easy to comprehend and use. I’ll give this program an 8.7, and hope that you will continue making effective programs like this one. Great Work! [This review has been edited by Blackraptor]

Ok, I dont like this much. Firstly, instead of having the sucker tubes on the right side which is a bit slow and annoying, you could of had a wall. The level consists a some floating platforms and stuff. Most of it is empty. The ammo is very poorly placed. Those ammo crates in the warp cause major lag. There is only one carrot, and the level lacks springs. The eyecandy is nothing fantastic. Sorry, I dont reccomend this level at all. It’s late and I have to go so my review ends here. No download rec.

Ok, I am not in the mood for long reviews, so I’ll make a short one.

The tileset rocks.

Ok, not that short ;P

The tileset has many cool features, the planet in the backround really caught my attention. The fans look realistic, and the tileset looks good. The coloring was done well. I don’t like how some tiles are made, and some more things could of been added. I will probably edit this review and make it longer soon, but this is a great tileset finally uploaded by BlurredD, and you should download it.

Ok, first of all I see we have some mad reviewers here typing over 10 000 chars here (estimate) Anyways, since Im currently bored and have nothing to do, I thought I’d play this.

Emerald Isle:
Firstly, I was upset that you suddenly get attacked by a bee when you start. Though you wont likely get hurt (since you are flashing and invincible for the first few seconds when you start), but you may be unprepared. The puzzle at the start was interesting, and the snow looked cool. There were lots of puzzles and secrets and the level was challenging, though there was few ammo and and the enemies where piled up frequently (I despised the pesky generating bees btw.). There was also many interesting features in the level and eyecandy was also done nicely, except for the small BG bugs..

Fungi Jungle:
A basic SP level, with some nice eyecandy and MCE’s. There were fewer stuff here that amazed me, but the level was ok.

Sticks and Stones:
Hmm…uses a custom set. The enemies here are definately overused. There was a maze here. I also lost my lives in this level, and then got an error for some reason (though it was more likely something with my computer than the level). The backround here is quite dull, and so are the places that are taken place outside. The death trick is interesting, thankfully you dont loose lifes. The puzzle is irritating and I had no idea how to beat it (when I froze the red spring and pushed the spring crate there, it kept getting stuck in the floor). There might have been another solution to that puzzle, but I couldnt figure it out…..Most of the puzzles here drove me insane, I was lucky to beat the level.

Shock Core:
The enemies are piled up yet again, and there isnt much variety in food. Level wasnt as difficult as the previous and it was fun to play.

Toxic sunsets: There could of been more backround eyecandy here, but the foreground and layer 5 made up for that. The tileset use and eyecandy is just beatiful to look at. The level here had cool effects and some puzzles as well. I quite liked this level, except some parts drove me insane.

All that Glitters is Cold(that is a lie!!):
Like the previous level the tileset use and eyecandy here shocked me. Although soem parts made it hard to see the eyecandy was amazing. The tileset use is also great, it would of been almost perfect aside from the fact there are too many places waiting for you to get stuck in. Enemy choice was a bit strange for a level using this tileset, and the puzzles are good. Level wasn’t “straight” and had some different routes sometiems, which made it more fun to play.

Mines Of Moria 2:
Oh God, Spaztic is obsessed with LoTR. Anyways, the mazes are interesting, though they were quite confusing and I didnt like them much. The backround made the foreground lag (Or something similar) and it made me a bit drowsy. In one place I got jutted in by a sucker (around that “invisible force field” place and didn’t know how to get out. More variety in pickups is needed as well, and enemies are piled. Some places I didnt like much, and the next level setting leads to a level which was not included in the Zip and I doubt anyone other than spaztic has.

My conclusion: Though the pack suffered from several cons, I extremely urge you to download this. There is at least 1 thing you will find spectacular in this pack (You will likely be amazed at many things) so I definately reccomend this. Great Job Spaztic, and I hope to see you making more levels in the future.

Argg, I wrote a long review on this but then my computer screwed up and I had to start all over. Ill try to remember what I put in the review.

MUSIC CHOICE:
At first I didnt like the music, but then it got good, it fairly fit the level.
Pros: N/A
Cons:N/A
Rating: N/A

TILESET/TILESET USE/EYECANDY
The tileset choice was great, the level used Violets new Scraparap conversion. I personally like the conversion and the planet, and was hoping for a level made by it. the tileset use is great, a great deal of tiles were used. You can see many different tiles in the walls, backround etc. Eyecandy was just great. The backround was nicely done, and there was a lot of backround eyecandy (including the wires and blue walls) and it was very detailed. Not only that, but you can see eyecandy everywhere, even in the walls and stuff.
Pros: Everything is great
Cons: I can’t think of any
Rating:9

GAMEPLAY/LAYOut:
The gameplay here was alright. though there were many pits here, the spring placement made up for that. I also thought some area’s are quite open, but I dont mind that. Layout wasnicely done and balanced. Easy to travel around. Though there was only one route to each of the bases (though 2 escape routes) and it may lead to people guarding it, but this goes for many levels.
Pros: Balanced layout, good spring placement.
Cons: No major ones
Rating: 8

PLACEMENT OF STuFF:
Firstly, there was one carrot here, a full energy, which is good since the level isnt that big. The full energy isplaced in the middle of the level and easily accesible from both bases. There are 2 powerups here, a pepper and a seeker. The pepper wansnt really needed, but I dont mind it. The seeker is probably placed in the best position (bottom middle, where most people wont go if the seeker wasnt there) and its also easily accesible by both bases. The bases are placed fairly and well, and it takes a fair amount of time to travel from one to the other. The ammo is placed interestingly and imagitivingly. I quite liked it.
Pros: Mostly everything is well placed.
Cons: Nothing that spectacular, except the creativity maybe.
Rating:8
