I betatested this, the C’s are placed wide and nice, easy to get, easy to attack. Pu’s are good but the pepper can be a little bit useless compared with RF pu. Some things are easier for Lori like the tube but that isn’t a big deal, as Spaz’s double jump is very usefull too. Well deserved 7.5.

Did a duel level with Loon here, nice and unique use of the tileset, the eyecandy can confuse you sometimes when you play some duels in it. However, the gameplay is fine and fast.
Download recommended for those who look for a fast paced duel.

This level works quite well, the ammo placements are good, power-ups and carrots aswell. After playing a duel in this level with DS, I think the float ups are used very well, and music is fitting aswell.

Carrotus Lake, the level name is better then the previous one.

Gameplay
The gameplay is interesting because of the flow in this level, the size makes fast-paced duels with no camping. Like the full Carrot, interesting placement and it’s almost impossible to camp it. However, blue can defend easier then red and red base feels too cramped. But that doesn’t much matter in duels. The ammo placements and weapons are placed exactly where they are supposed to, the Seeker power-up is harder to get then the others. This is a pretty well balanced vertical level, even vertical CTF levels are usually hard to balance.

Eyecandy
Nice and simple use of the tileset, it doesn’t feel too full or too empty, its not distracting either. It’s very easy to get around except for the pumpkins wich can be annoyed sometime.

Music
The music choice is not bad. Its a nice track to listen while having a duel in this level.

Functionality
The level works best out with Spaz. but Jazz and Lori aren’t that bad here. The copter ears can provide much help in the open areas. Double jump is required sometime, this is playable for all charachters.

Should I recommended this? Well if you are a duelist and want to try something new out, I would recommended this.

PS. Sorry about my rate from the previous review.

Mostly agreed with ThunderWalker, good level to play with, this is recommended for games like 3vs3, 4vs4 and maybe 5vs5.

Very nice levels,

Deep Depths is a good and balanced level, the tileset is very well used, the water is balanced, good music choice. I recommend this level, its good for, 2vs2, 3vs3, and even 4vs4!

Subterranean Apocalypse:
I didn’t test this level much, and I never played a match in it. but by the looks of it, it’s a duel level. I would try this for sure.

These 2 levels from NekoMithos are recommended!

The Swimming Island is, as I see, Jgke’s XLM’s tryout.

The name ‘‘The Swimming Island’‘ is descriptive enough for this level, the tileset was a good choice for this level too.

The Layers 5, 6, 7, and 8 are good but I find it unnatural that layer 6 and 7 are moving, the rest of the eyecandy is good but there could be more layer 4 eyecandy, atleast, at some parts.

I don’t like the large group of ammo ammounts, but for games like 4vs4 they are usefull, the 2 carrots fits big matches too, but not for duels and 2vs2.
I think RF rockets are too overpowered but it could be just me.

I cannot rate it down, you took animations and layers from Blade’s example level, but we all do that.

Should I recommended this? Well if you like 4vs4 matches or bigger then it worth a try! The level size is perfect and large ammo amounts makes it a very good level for big matches.

Goodluck in XLM.

I don’t think so the author of the ‘‘real BattleShipsBL’‘ likes you’re doing this.

If you don’t know who he/she is, then it’s obiously stealing, you need to ask for permission.

Thanks for the report on the stuck, and, how can this be a copy of Devres74.j2l? I titled as Oasis because of the tileset.

And you’re wrong about the red base has advantage, you just need to know the way.

Reply to Jgake:
Well I admit it, I make the eyecandy fimiliar to Devres74.j2l but still there are alot levels use the same eyecandy from the famous levels.

Please, stop saying shit like I copy from other levels, please? What’s next? Epitome?
