Bjarni, please stop doing that.
This level is very stupid. ;<
it uses diamondus set in a horrible way, and it has tons of eyecandy bugs, and it is waste of my harddrive space. >;D
Like R3ptile/GP said, this level is very crappy. i couldn’t agree more.
MY REVIEW + SOME FEEDBACK
you should focus more on eyecandy while building a level. i don’t like placement either. oh well. gameplay is stupid, and i don’t like the music choice. enemies were nicely chosen though. ;)
Well, it would be nice for very first own level. first levels shound’t be uploaded though. ;P
Overall, this is very bad sux level i don’t like. sorry for using word “sux” so much, but i think im addicted to it. now back to the review. like i said, placement is kinda ok. but there’s no background layers, expect some stupid bright tiles. text strings are hard to read too. i don’t understand them. work with your english please. well, i think im done with my review. im going to rate this as 3.5 for the reasons i’ve mentioned. actually, i decided to leave it N/A. you should take my advice by the way.
#EDIT1: Grammar Fix. ;D [This review has been edited by Snooz]
Jarno vos, stop reviewing, because you can’t. :)
danyjel is right. i think i played some other music, and then accidently thought it was this file. oh well. =P
I’ll review when it’s downloadable[This review has been edited by PHT]
No PHT. i don’t think its funny to spam j2o’s downloads section. do you?
BTW, go blame someone else for spamming. ;D!
#EDIT1: grammar fix[This review has been edited by Snooz]
If you find some bugs, please let me know, so i can fix them. thanks. ;)
this map owns. lets all host this. and practice here. ;D
it beats SUK AnReA by far. >DD
Late review. here i go.
Tides of Blood is a small sized quite average CTF map by Felix. it uses Technoir tileset, which isn’t too overused IMO. eyecandy is fine, but flow seriously needs work. i don’t like it at all. warps are annyoing too, and so are sucker tubes, which aren’t needed in a level like this. ammo placement is fine, i don’t have any problems with it. i can navigate nicely, but like i mentioned above, warps are annyoing. im going to rate this as 6.2 for the reasons i’ve mentioned. don’t feel discouraged. this very good for first level.
acid psy, please stop reviewing my levels. i can’t even understand why your rating number is 6.5. well, its still underrating.
[This review has been edited by Snooz]
GAMEPLAY:
Gameplay here is very bad in my opinion. i don’t understand why there’s some ugly animated tiles in layer 4, which ruin the flow. layout is very bad too, blue teams base’s layout is rather mazelike while red teams base is easy to navigate. no more complaiments. work with gameplay next time. ;-)
EYECANDY:
Tileset was used right, but there still lot of tilebugs, and level looks quite dull, because it doesn’t use all the tiles. myself i would use everytile in a tileset. :p
its your choice though.
PLACEMENT:
Two +1 carrots and some powerups are there. btw, why there’s an ice PU? no one needs ice. placement needs work too, its unbalanced.
~Snooz
Very nice remix with cool sounds. tempo is good enough. i think i would give something like 7 but i don’t rate musics, i just comment them. ;p
its quite nice remix, which is worth of downloading imo.
What sabaspaz said. an interesting level with cats who swear at you. ;D
Review is coming later. im too busy now.
Well, since i was bored, and there was nothing to do, i decided to review this pack, and give it a long, long review. and i really mean long. i woudln’t be surprised if this review is my longest one. well, let me continue.
REVIEW of the Lost gemz, Volume II: Survivor:
Welcome to my review of this fantastic ground force pack by BlurredD, which is my favorite ground force, or survivor pack ever. all levels are really good, they have nice backgrounds, ( which isn’t really needed in ground force levels though. ) and very nice gameplay, and ammo placement. i like this pack alot, and thats probably why my review is so long. i don’t have more comments, but let me welcome you to my REAL REVIEW OF THIS PACK =)))
maybe ill update this review later, incase if i forgot to mention something..
Thermal scorch: Thermal scorch is very good level and it uses excellent 7th lava fall tileset by Dethman. in my opinion, tileset use was great, and there’s no tilebugs, and tile placement looks awesome. i can see 2 different lavafalls on the background, other one is big. ( 2 tiles wide ) and the other one is quite small. ( 1 tile )
There’s more background eyecandy too, like a steelish x-like things on the layer 6. i like the gameplay in this level. this level is very big, ( height )
and you start from the bottom. there’s lots of destructable tiles, all of them use tile number 59, ( im not sure if im right here ) Which looks quite dull. level would use different kind of destructive tiles. it would look better. i have no complaiments about ammo placement either. its very nice in my opinion. music fits to the level fine too.
System clogged: Yay, more cool-looking levels. System clogged uses mez’s MEZ03/04 tileset. (im not sure which)
and the tileset is overused, but author used it nicely in my opinion. background layers look nice, and no complaiments about them. ammo (mostly TNT) is placed nicely around the level, and i have no complaiments. 1337 placement. Gameplay is nice too. level is very big, i don’t know how much it takes to beat it, but my guess would be around 3-2 minutes. destructive tiles doesn’t look dull here, since you used some blue-uhm.. bubble like tile, which looks very good with silver metal blocks. music (Dh-glctc.s3m) fits nicely IMO.
Waste drain: i don’t have the tileset, or then i have the wrong version of the tileset. i got an access violation, so i can’t rate this level.
Heaven sent: Heaven sent uses agama’s outstanding Heaven tileset, which is used nicely in this level. i like the color where the background fades into. it gives a good atmosphere to this level. Destructable tiles won’t look dull, because author used ground tiles of heaven tileset. instead of dull look, they look really nice, (sorry for my bad grammar)and i really can’t find complaiments about this level. gameplay is nice too, this level isn’t too big or too small. good job, BlurredD. Ammo is placed nicely too, and i like the placement alot. no more comments / complaiments.
[Ill finish this review later, i promise. i must go now. ]
Yay, KiKuT. blank review.
Well.. if these are your first battle levels, why you uploaded them as single player? ;P
second of all, this level needs work. or something.
Well, i promised to reviewthis pack, so here i am.
NOTE: this review is gonna be long one. so writing it has taken time, and if you find any complaiments in it, ill summon a swarm of flying multicolored cows to attack you. ;p
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
This pack is kinda awesome. every level has something special in it. Eyecandy, weapon placement, gameplay.. etc. this is true OLC quality. oh well, and music choices are great, the music of the last level doesn’t fit though in my opinion. well, let me continue, since i have no more complaiments about this great pack.

Very nice. i think author is very good with this tileset, because he made an excellent level using it. ;-p
Oh well let me continue.
This level is full of very original ideas in my opinion, like the background, with windows and stuff. almost prefect score from eyecandy.

Really nice. i like it alot. its not cramped or anything. you’ll love the gameplay of this level, because it does nothing but rocks hard.
PLACEMENT:
Nice. there’s a Toaster, and a seek pu here. my favorite powerups. ;-p

LEVEL 3: .
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: This is a very cool level, and i like it. one of the best oasis levels ever created. its original too, because of the background layers, and i never saw much levels using this tileset. gameplay is very nice too, and i have no complaiments.
EYECANDY:
Nice too. i like it. there’s lots of eyecandy stuff at layer 4, and 3, which
looks cool, or 1337.. or whatever. eyecandy here is r0x, and i have no more comments, you need to see yourself.
GAMEPLAY:
Good. i like it alot. springs are nicely placed, and i can’t find complaiments. level is open too, and its easy to move around.
PLACEMENT:
Very nice. there’s lost of ammo, which is needed in this level in my opinion.
Myself i love the ammo placement, and powerups are nicely chosen.
ORIGINALITY / FUN FACTOR:
Really original level which is very fun to play. see yourself.
OVERALL:
Very nice level, which has r0x eyecandy in it. my only complaint would be the music choice. its weird.
LEVEL 4: Cold Cavern
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Very nice level. i like it. i love that background, because it kinda fits in this level. gameplay is nice too, level would be more open in my opinion, but its still a great level. ;-)
EYECANDY:
I love the eyecandy here alot. its original in my opinion, and i never any good levels using this set, expect battle level from blade, and this level. well, let me continue with my review.
GAMEPLAY:
Very nice gameplay here.
the level would be more open though, but its authors choice in my opinion, so i won’t take points from that. well, my conclusion is that gameplay is good.
PLACEMENT:
Very nice. really nice placement. i don’t remember the powerups, which doesn’t really matter here. well, as far as i remember, the placement was very good.
ORIGINALITY / FUN FACTOR:
Very cool level, which is fun to play, and original. i gave extra points for that.
OVERALL: A very nice level which i would host a few times. too bad that i can’t host. well, gameplay, placement and other things are very good.
LEVEL 5: Dechapit Ruins
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
A very nice level, which has good eyecandy, layout and gameplay. my only complaint is music choice, i think it doesn’t fit with Agama’s “Heaven” tileset, but its author’s choice, so i won’t take points from that.
This level is very original too, along with the destruction concept or whatever it is called.
EYECANDY:
Very nice. i like it. one of the best heaven level’s ive seen. eyecandy here is very original too, and i like it. its absolutely worth of seeing, and hosting. ;)
GAMEPLAY:
Its bit too cramped in my opinion. level could be more open too. well, i can move around in this level, but the layout is still un-snooz-friendly. ;p
I prefer levels which are easy to navigate. or something. well, i think that the gameplay is ok.
PLACEMENT:
Nice. i like the placement here alot. there’s a shield too, you get it for 15 seconds, so it won’t ruin the gameplay. there’s also a seek pu, which made me rate higher. i can’t live without seekers.
ORIGINALITY / FUN FACTOR:
This level is fun to play online. you should host it in my opinion. this level is quite original too, i think its the placment.

EDIT1#: I edited my review, so it should easy to read now. fixed some typos too.[This review has been edited by Snooz]
Green plant, please stop being an face. ;)
I promised to review this, so here i am. Lets get started. anyway, i was busy, so this review may be short.
Well. this conversion impressed me. it has all the tiles from original exoticus, which was one of my favorite planets when i played jj1. author included some other nice tiles too, like self made blocks, vines, torch, some castle like tiles.. etc. One of the top jj2 conversion ever seen in my opinion.
Well. i like the masking here. its very smooth, and its nicely done. nothing is wrong with it. very nice.
There’s no missing tiles in my level, and the inventory here is very good, text signs, spikes, custom textured background, some sand tiles, which can be used as background, castle looking like tiles, sucker tubes, seelf made blocks.. and all other things like that. nothing is missing.
Palette is very good too. water works in 8-bit, or atleast i think it does. Carrotus/psych/jungle poles work too, but diam pole looks still weird. this doesn’t really matter though, because there’s no way i would use 3 different poles in my level. ;p
Overall, i really like this tileset or conversion, because it has really cool tiles, which can be used when building good levels. there’s no needed tiles missing in my opinion, and the quality of this tileset .. is perfect. im going to give this a nice 8.5 for the reasons i’ve mentioned. [This review has been edited by Snooz]
Well.. to be honest, this level is overrated, but it still recieves a rating around 6.7-6.5.
btw, i think that greenplant is going to be censored.. and review is coming later. well, i think its quite good for first ctf level ,because its symmetrical, and flow is good.. etc.
Gonna continue this review later, im too busy now.
Very nice. i think i once used letni remix in my level. not sure though. ;p
this remix is wroth of downloading.
im bored today, so i decided to write a review, which will be probably full of typos. but lets start anyway. ;p
Demonic home is a standard CTF level by Satan. it uses inferno tileset, which isn’t too overused, and its one of my favorite tilesets, so im happy that someone used it. level has nice flwoing, and quite good gameplay, but it would be better, if you would add some sucker tubes, and springs. ;p
ehm.. what to say about eyecandy? its very good. i see that you can use this tileset pretty well. you also used some original eyecandy, like those waterfall-like things. placement is fine too, and i really can’t find much complaiments. placement looks very nice. ;p
after all, i like this level alot. itsv above average for sure. now lets write more.
EYECANDY
eyecandy here is very nice. its really original. ground tiles were used nicely, and there’s no tilebugs.. or atleast i didnt see any. this tileset has some bugs though, so its not your fault, if there’s tilebugs. there’s some original things too, such as snow—looking waterfall like thingy, which looks nice, and i like it. all background alyers are used, they have trees in it. those look reallly creative and nice too, and they give this level haunted atmosphere in my opinion. there’s also something on foreground layers, such as trees. well. after all, i like eyecandy here alot. ;)
okay, im too lazy to write more, lets say that gameplay needs some work, and placement is good. the end, BECAUSE IM TOO LAZY TO WRITE MORE. ;P
Quite nice level, it needs better gameplay and flow though IMO. its still nice though. i dislike the eyecandy though becayuse it confuses me sometimes. verall its pretty nice level. abovce average. that’s all i can say. ;P
Eyecandy would be better too, because it looks linear. placement is fine, i don’t have much complaimetns. wow, i made lots of typos. >D

REVIEW NUMBER 301 v1.1
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my 301th review. ;D
I decided to review too, because i felt like reviewing today. yay. pointless information. :) ;D!
Well, let me get started.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Yay. Better what we usually see from you, WINNER.
I like about the eyecandy in this level. It looks good. Too bad that there isn’t much of it. there’s clouds on layer 2 or 1, but those move way too fast, which looks kind of annyoing. background should fade to various colors too, it would give this level a better atmosphere. Ammo placement is fine for me, and i really have no complaiments. Gameplay and flow could be better. there should be more suckertubes, and float ups. running on this level is kind of annyoing because there’s dead ends, and places which need blue springs. yay. this review is gonna be a long one. \o/
GAMEPLAY AND FLOW:
I don’t like the flow at all in this level. some areas are way too small, and there’s stupid stuff in my way, when i try to run. The grey pillar in 62,49 for example. i don’t see any reason why its sitting there. It kinda ruins the flow. Same with the area around 55,57. It desperately needs a sucker tube. same with 89,54. that place is kind of weird. Its there for no reason. Well, it needs a sucker tube, so flow would be better. ;P
The area around 89,24 is annoying too.
Well. You run, and then you hit your head to clump of ground in 89,15. btw, i really don’t like hitting my head into things like that. besides, it needs a spring, or a sucker tube, which would lead you to 87,7, and blaster powerup. Add a red spring to 14,10 and gameplay will improve. when you run, you end to the wall there, and then you have to jump, which costs time. or then add a sucker tube. whatever. 2,48 needs a spring, so you can go to upper parts of the level without having any problems with time. ;P
Btw, what is the purpose of the hole in 1,28?
its the one of the best gameplay/flow ruiners in this level. or something. ;P
2,55 needs a sucker tube, which would lead you to up. ;D
27,61 is kind of annyoing place to put a crate, because you get stuck easily there. ;P
Its the one of the worst things in this level, btw.
Well.. more? yes.
why there’s a spring in 26,48?
it has no purpose. if you run to it, you end at the wall in 40,42.
42,61 and 47,61 need an one way event. maybe you should one way all platforms like that, they would made flow better. =D
Im not sure if i mentioned this above, but area around 32,29 needs a float up, and so does 29,23.
Pros: Well, i’ve seen worse.
Cons:Annyoing places without purpose, which ruin the flow.
EYECANDY AND TILESET USE:
One of the best things in this level. let me start. Author used mostly regular
ground tiles, or then ground tiles with which look boring. Nice to see, that there’s other eyecandy tiles though, like trees, rocks, iCeD rules/SSF signs, and other things like that. kewl.
You used different colored and sized block tiles too, which can look extremely boring, when used wrong. Well, you used different sized blocks, and that gives quite nice result, or atleast in my opinion.
Rock tiles where used too. mostly in area around 82,26. Block tiles were used in 82,16, and somewhere else too, i can’t really remember where. There’s some foreground eyecandy too, like cave tiles, i can’t remember where they were, and im not really sure were those on layer 2 or 1 or 3, but whatever. ;P
there’s some other eyecandy too, like clouds, but their movement annoys me, and so does the transparency, which will reveal an eyecandy bug in area around 69,7. Background eyecandy is very good, there’s some mountains in layer 6 and 7, which would give a good atmosphere, if textured background would fade into various colors. too bad it doesn’t since it kinda ruins the atmosphere. ;P
I guess that’s about the eyecandy. ;D
Pros: Quite nice eyecandy here.
Cons: Some tilebugs, annyoing clouds. ;P
PLACEMENT:
Hmm. interesting. Let me start from the powerups. there’s 4 Powerups in this level, i think. many PU’s are covered by foreground eyecandy, like blocky cave tiles. you said getting optical illusion, too bad that i didnt see any, or then i just didnt concentrate. whatever. there’s some ammo packs lying on the ground. i kinda like it, so ammo is easy to collect, and you don’t have to jump much. Powerups are nicely chosen too, and i really can’t find complaiments about placement. there’s 2 carrots, which are kind of easy to grab, and its a good thing. yay. my review is finally finished.
Btw, whats that Rf crate doing in that hole in the down of the level? :)))) =D
Pros: nice placement.
Cons: There should be one more carrot.
ORIGINALITY:
I don’t think there’s nothing new in this level. it has standard design and placement, and its boring to play. music file “SECRET.s3m” was kewl choice too, because jj2 musics make me dance. or something. i would say that music choice is very original. and you’re probably first person who used this tileset, expect maybe BlurredD, who made example levels of this tileset. so i would say that this level is quite original or something. yes. it is original. ;D
wow, i probably mde lots of typos. yay me. i never saw this hosted so i dunno if this is fun to play. ;P
But atleast i think it is.
PROS:originality.
CONS:boring to play.
CONCLUSION:
Its average level. maybe little bit over average. who knows. im gonna rate this as 6.7 for the reasons i’ve told you. ;P
DOWNLOAD RECOMMEDATION:Your decision. =P
HOST THIS:I don’t think so.
RATING:6.7
#EDIT1: Added something to my review. ;D
#EDIT2: Added +0.3 points because of the originality. Its your lucky day.
